Objective : This case report aims to show the effect of Huini-san on depressive disorder. the patient was diagnosed with Soeum-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, the patient was diagnosed with Soeum-byung and the patients are treated with Huini-san. We evaluated the results of treatment by Korean Version of the Remission from Depression Questionnaire. Results : After taking Huini-san decoction for 2 month, the symptoms of patients improved Conclusions : This case report shows that effectiveness of using Huini-san according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on depressive disorder.

전기적 방출 조절 시스템을 이용한 광 페록사이드센서의 개발

The optical biosensor using the electrically controlled release of reactive reagent is developed for the detection of peroxide. Rapid degradation of polymer complex of PEOx and PMAA occurs as the applied current increases and thus released amount of HPA increases. The degradation velocity of polymer and the amount of HPA released are linearly proportional to the applied current. Peroxide is reacted with the released reagent by peroxidase and then the product, a fluorescent dimer DBDA, is formed. The monochromic light from light source (150W Xe arc ramp) excites the DBDA and the excited light is transmitted through an optical fiber to be detected by a photodiode array. The change of fluorescence intensity is related to the change of peroxide concentration. The peroxidase is entrapped in Ca-alginate gel on the inner surface. The biosensor has the linear signal range of 0.025mM-l0.mM peroxide. By applying the step function of peroxide, reproducibility of biosensor has been investigated. The mathematical model is constructed by the combination of enzyme kinetics with reactor flow model. Good agreement is obtained between the experimental result and model prediction in the sensor signal.

소승기탕(小承氣湯)으로 호전된 기분 장애 환자 1례

Objective : This case report evaluated the effect of Soseungki-tang(小承氣湯) on mood disorder. Methods : A patient of mood disorder was treated with Soseungki-tang(小承氣湯) in accordance with Shanghanlun(傷寒論) six meridian patterns diagnostic system. Results : After a series of Soseungki-tang treatment, the symptoms of mood disorder patient improved. Conclusions : According to Shanghanlun(傷寒論) six meridian patterns diagnostic system, this case study shows that Soseungki-tang is effective on mood disorder. However further clinical studies in depth are needed.

Objective : This case report presents the effect of Soshiho-tang on Atopic Dermatitis. The patient was diagnosed with Yangmyung-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system, we dianosed the patient as Yangmyung-byung and he had trouble getting out of bed and nighttime itch. The patient was treated with Soshiho-tang. We evaluated the results of treatment by Objective SCORAD Index and pictures. Results : After the treatment, Objective SCORAD Index decreased from 61 to 21.5. And he became to have no trouble in getting up and also nighttime itch vanished. Conclusions : This case report sowed and effectiveness of using Soshiho-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on Atopic Dermatitis.

경상북도 봉화군 너뱅이굴의 동굴지질학적 특징 및 형성과정

이 연구에서는 경상북도 봉화군 소재 너뱅이굴의 동굴지질학적 특징을 분석하여 동굴형성과정(speleogenesis)을 규명하고자 한다. 너뱅이굴은 총 길이가 약 470 m, 주요 통로는 정북 방향 40~50°의 하향 경사로 발달하며, 동굴 입구 지점의 해발고도는 약 910 m, 막장 지점의 해발고도는 약 720 m로 확인된다. 기 작성된 동굴측량도면과 이번 조사 결과에 의하면, 너뱅이굴은 주굴과 4개의 가지굴을 포함하는 가지형 동굴(branchwork cave)로 분류할 수 있다. 너뱅이굴은 전체적으로 하부 고생대 조선누층군 두무골층 하부에 발달하는 것으로 확인된다. 동굴 입구부는 장축 약 20 m 규모의 돌리네 지형으로부터 시작되고 돌리네 북사면과 만나는 지점의 낙석 사이로 수직형 입구가 발달한다. 입구에는 5 cm 가량의 매우 약한 변위를 보이는 단층이 확인되며, 이 단층이 동굴 통로의 발달, 돌리네의 형성, 입구의 노출에 기여한 것으로 추정된다. 입구 직하부에는 두무골층 기원 낙석과 동점층 기원 낙석이 혼재하며, 주요 통로의 전 구간에 걸쳐 벽면에는 셰일과 석회암이 약 15 cm 단위로 교호하고 있는 특징을 확인할 수 있다. 입구의 대형 돌리네와 막장까지 매우 일정한 통로의 하향 경사는 동절기 동안 동굴 외부의 차가운 공기를, 하절기에는 계곡을 흐르는 하천수를 동굴 내부로 원활히 공급할 수 있는 조건을 갖추고 있다. 조사 결과, 이와 같은 유체가 지속적으로 동굴 내부로 유입됨과 동시에 빠르게 배출되는 것이 확인되었다. 이러한 동굴 내ᆞ외부 조사를 통해 다음과 같은 일련의 동굴형성과정을 제시한다. 동굴 형성 초기 토양대를 거쳐 지하수로 함양된 강수는 두무골층의 두꺼운 불투수성 셰일층에 제한되어 주로 셰일-석회암 간 층리면을 집중적으로 용해시킨다. 초기 통로가 확장된 이후, 흐르는 동굴수의 침식력이 확대되면서 하부에 수 매의 셰일층을 하각시켰다. 이후 너뱅이굴의 통로가 현재와 같이 확장함에 따라 충분한 유체 배출력(discharge capability)을 갖춘 동굴시스템으로 진화하였고, 이에 따라 입구부에서는 토양과 함께 주변 낙석들을 제거하여 현재의 돌리네가 형성될 수 있었다. 이와 같은 너뱅이굴의 동굴형성과정과 유체 배출력은 국내에 분포하는 최소 1,000여 개소 이상의 석회동굴 중에서도 매우 전형적인 것으로 판단되며, 너뱅이굴의 독특한 동굴 생태를 설명할 수 있는 기초 근거를 제시한다는 점에서 중요한 의미를 지닌다.

한국산 진달래과 식물에 관한 본초학적 연구

Objectives : For the purpose of developing Korean herbalogy of the plants to Iridaceae in Korea, the literatures of the successive generations have been thoroughly investigated to prepare this article. Methods : The examined herbological books and research paper which published at home and abroad. Results : A list was made about Eriaceae plant which are cultivated or grew naturally in Korea, after investigate the data on domestic and foreign Eriaceae plants. Out of those lists, serviceable plants were selected and with those available plants, their distributions were analysed and parts which can be used as medicines were divided into 3 categories such as oriental medicine name, scientific name and non-official name. Eriaceae`s properties flavor, channels they use, effects, and toxicity were also noted. Eriaceae (grew in Korea) was divided into 9 classes with 48 species. Out of those, 3 classes with 14 species were found serviceable which indicates 29% of all. Out of all 48 specified Eriaceae plants, Rhododendron plants were found 26 species, which were shown the most. And 7 classes of Rhododendron plants were also selected the most in serviceable Eriaceae. Out of all serviceable parts in Eriaceae, leaf parts took first place as 12 species. Conclusion : There were totaled to 9 genera and 48 species in Iridaceae in Korea and among them medicinal plants are 3 genera, 14 species, some 29% in total.

갈라디아 공동체의 구성그룹과 율법 이해

하나님 경외자들(God-Fearers)과 이교도 출신의 이방인 그리스도인들을 중심으로 바울이 세웠던 갈라디아 공동체는 외부로부터 들어온 유대인 그리스도인(1:7, 2:4, 4:14, 5:10, 6:12,13)의 ‘할례를 중심으로 한 율법준수주장’으로 인해 혼란스러운 상황이었다. 이에 바울은 율법에 대한 올바른 가르침을 갈라디아 공동체에게 전달한다. 바울은 ‘유대인과 이방인의 경계철폐’라는 기본원칙을 근간으로 갈라디아 공동체 내부그룹의 정황에 맞는 율법이해를 전달한다. 이교도 출신 이방인 그리스도인들보다 상대적으로 유대교의 관습과 율법에 익숙하였던 하나님 경외자 출신 그리스도인들에겐 구약성서인용(3:10-신 27:26, 3:11-합 2:4, 3:12-레18:5, 3:13-신 21:23)에 근거한 올바른 율법과 믿음의 이해(3:10-14)를 역설한다. 이 본문에서 바울은 ‘저주를 내리는 율법순종’과 ‘그리스도를 통한 율법의 저주로부터의 해방’을 강조한다. 한편 이교도 출신 이방인 그리스도인들에게는 당시 헬라사회에서 널리 시행되던 “초등교사(paidagwgo,j)”(3:24) 내지는 “후견인(evpi,tropoj)”(4:2) 제도에 근거해 율법에 대한 가르침(4.1-7)을 전달한다. 이 본문에서 바울은 ‘우상숭배와 동일한 율법순종’과 ‘하나님의 아들을 통한 종됨으로부터의 해방’을 강조한다. 갈라디아서의 수신자들의 정황에 맞게 율법에 대한 가르침을 전한 바울은 두 그룹 모두에게는 할례와 무할례의 구분자체의 무효성을 가르친다. 최종적으로 바울은 할례가 아닌 이웃사랑을 통한 온 율법의 성취를 강조하며, 할례수용유무로 인한 갈등을 해소하고 갈라디아 공동체의 통합과 결속을 역설한다(5:6, 14, 6:15). The Galatian Community consisted of God-fearers and Christians who were Gentiles. Conflict between the two groups arose because of the Jewish Christians’ insistence that members of the Galatian Community must keep the law (especially, circumcision) in order to be true and perfect Christians. Paul being aware of this conflict sets about giving his own explanation of what he sees as the proper understanding of the law and this can be found in Galatians chap. 3-4 where he addresses each group individually. It was Paul’s fundamental belief that the boundary that separated Jews and Gentiles needed to be broken and this served as the basis for his teaching about the law. In the case of God-fearers, who were more familiar with the customs and laws of Judaism than Gentile Christians, Paul emphasizes the need for a correct understanding of the law and faith and often quotes the Old Testament(3:10 - Deut. 27:26, 3:11 - Hab. 2:4, 3:12 - Levi. 18:5, 3:13 - Deut.21:23). He also tries to stress ‘children of Abraham,’ ‘obedience to the law brings a curse,’ and ‘liberation from the curse of the law through Christ.’ Meanwhile, to the Gentile Christians, who were accustomed to the pagan Hellenistic culture, Paul provides guidance about the law using the images of “tutor (paid& agwgo,j)” (3:24) and “manager (evpi,tropoj)” (4:2). In this unit, ‘obedience to the law that is equal to idol worship’ and ‘liberation from slavery through the Son of God’ are emphasized. Paul’s teachings on the law reflects the context of the Galatian community and he tries to show the invalidity of the belief in a separation between the circumcised and the uncircumcised. In the end, Paul argued that it did not matter whether one was circumcised or not, but insisted that the Galatian Community was to practice solidarity as one group by fulfilling the requirement to keep the entire law and this was to be done through obedience to the commandment to “Love your neighbor as yourself” (5:6, 14; 6:15).
