The helicase genes and hypervariable regions (HVRs) of three avian hepatitis E viruses (HEVs) detected at three different farms were sequenced and characterized. Two isolates (DW-L and GI-B2) were classified as genotype 2 and one isolate (GR-B) was classified as genotype 1. A phylogenetic tree, based on the helicase gene and HVR nucleotide sequences, revealed the newly detected viruses and other avian HEVs were classified similarly. Unlike previously reported avian HEVs, the DW-L isolate detected in broiler breeders with characteristic lesions of avian HEV had no proline-rich motif in its HVR, suggesting that the proline-rich motif is non-essential for viral replication and infection.

Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate clinical studies between 2015 and 2020 on the traditional Chinese medicine treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) using the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database. Methods We searched clinical studies on the Chinese medicine treatment published in traditional Chinese medical journals on CTS through the CNKI search. Fifteen published studies between 2015 and 2020 were chosen and examined for the year of publication, sample size, study design type, diagnosis and evaluation of diverse criteria, treatment period, purpose of the study, and classification based on the treatment technique. Results Out of 73 studies, 15 had practiced various Chinese medical treatments, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, manipulation, herbal medicine application therapy, and external herbal treatment. Conclusions Various studies have investigated the Chinese medicine treatment for CTS in China. To envelope the treatment of CTS in Korean medicine, steady and valuable therapies for high-level clinical research are required. In the future, this study could be helpful in the development of the treatment of CTS with Korean medicine. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2020;30(4):119-132)

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of spinal mobilization with leg movement (SMWLM) using Korean Medicine treatment on acute lower limb muscle weakness through four case studies. Methods SMWLM , with other Korean Medicine treatments, was performed on four patients who underwent treatment at OOOO Korean Medicine Hospital from August 2017 to July 2018. Additionally, results of the Numerical Rate Scale(NRS), EuroQol-FiveDimensions(EQ-5D),Oswestry lowback pain disability questionnaire(ODI), Straight Leg Raise(SLR) test, and Manual Muscle Test(MMT) were evaluated. Results There was a significant increase in NRS, ODI, and EQ-5D scales with im-rovements of SLR angle and MMT figures to a normal range. Conclusions This study suggested that Korean Medicine treatment combined with SMWLM may affect treating acute lower limb muscle weakness. Further clinical studies are needed to establish a definite conclusion.

The conventional microelectromechanical system (MEMS) process has been used to fabricate sensors with high costs and high-volume productions. Emerging 3D printing can utilize various materials and quickly fabricate a product using low-cost equipment rather than traditional manufacturing processes. 3D printing also can produce the sensor using various materials and design its sensing structure with freely optimized shapes. Hence, 3D printing is expected to be a new technology that can produce sensors on-site and respond to on-demand demand by combining it with open platform technology. Therefore, this paper reviews three standard 3D printing technologies, such as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Direct Ink Writing (DIW), and Digital Light Processing (DLP), which can apply to the sensor fabrication process. The review focuses on strain/load sensors having both sensing material features and structural features as well. NCPC (Nano Carbon Piezoresistive Composite) is also introduced as a promising 3D material due to its favorable sensing characteristics.
일반화 공간 변조 시스템에서 송신/수신 순서화를 적용한 효율적 구복호 수신기

본 논문은 송신에 이용되는 활성 송신 안테나와 송신 심볼을 이용해 정보를 전송하는 일반화 공간 변조 시스템에서 송신/수신 순서화를 결합하여 기존의 구복호 수신기보다 낮은 계산 복잡도를 갖는 수신 방식을 제안한다. 제안 수신기는 수신 순서화를 통해 수신 신호 연산을 최적의 순서로 수행하여 구 밖의 후보해에 대한 연산을 조기에 종료함으로써 계산량을 줄인다. 또한, 송신 순서화 방식을 적용하여 심볼과 활성 송신 안테나 탐색에서 해일 확률이 높은 후보 해부터 탐색을 수행하여 계산량을 낮추도록 한다. 모의실험을 통해 송신/수신 순서화를 적용한 제안 구복호 수신기가 기존 구복호 기법, 수신 순서화만 적용한 구복호 기법과 비교하여 동일한 비트오류율 성능을 유지하면서 더 낮은 계산 복잡도를 가짐을 확인하였다. In this paper, we propose an efficient sphere decoding scheme that reduces computational complexity by combining receive and transmit ordering techniques in generalized spatial modulation systems, where the indexes of activated transmit antennas as well as the transmit symbols are exploited to transfer information to the receiver. In this scheme, the receive signals are optimally ordered so that the calculation for a candidate solution outside the sphere is terminated early to lower the computational complexity. In addition, the transmit ordering technique is applied to first search for candidate symbols and activated antennas having higher probabilities to further reduce the computational complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed doubly ordered sphere decoding scheme provides the same bit error rate performance with the conventional sphere decoding method and the sphere decoder employing only the receive ordering technique while it requires lower computational complexity.

In korea, the electric facilities and communication equipments have been built with a grounding construction in order to protect human life from electrical shock of lightning/ surge voltage and secure the performance of electric appliances and rapid emit an impulsive current into underground for safety. Also, the value of grounding resistance of the electric facilities was legislated to certain resistance value in korea and it should be perform the reinforcement construction for maintaining less than the specified value. But it’s very hard to carry out the grounding reinforcement construction without any damage on the seven underground utilities scattered around underground of downtown area. Futhermore, although it is inevitable to use additional resistance reducing materials for qualifying the value, but the porosity of ground and resultant loss of reducer make that uncontrollable. Therefore we had to seek the process of minimizing the economic loss and basically preventing the national property loss, negligent accident, futhermore, appling the method of cost reduction as well.

The development of digital transformation technology is remarkable. Meanwhile, the use of artificial intelligence in the domestic manufacturing industry is remarkably insufficient. In particular, there is a problem of securing data for optimizing the manufacturing process and securing a business model using artificial intelligence. In order to overcome the problems faced by the domestic manufacturing industry, we would like to propose an LLM and digital twin convergence system for optimizing the manufacturing process of the steel industry.
