It is most desirable that the stress condition of the completed building structure conforms to the presupposed one at the stage of it's design. It is, however, inevitable to have slight differences resulting from various construction methods. The safety requirements can not be met when the differences exceed the desired values. Therefore, there exists a strong necessity for considering the possibilities of confining the differences within the permissible limits. With this problem of correcting the differences in mind, it is intended in this study that one of the ideal safety requirements can be assured by examining the differences of the stress which occur especially due to the number of the supporting stories for concrete works.

It has been a wide-spread matter of concern among structural engineers to do works of structural analysis and design by computer. But in practice the beginners in the field of structure are unable to use computer under the existing circumstances. To take this into account the writer is going to open a part of author's newly developed programs even for the beginners to save labour and time by computerizing the works of very simple and typical structures. This time, the introduction is limited on the subjects of a reinforced concrete slab where the four edges are fixed with uniform distributed load. First the definition of word 'program' will be given, and the explanation on the formation of this program in comparison with theoretical basis will be followed, then composing methods of data in detail will be given, and lastly comparison of the necessary time in calculating by computer versus by hand will be provided to give structural engineer a chance to be familiar with computer in order to use it for further developments in calculating ability.
Lattice보에서 웨브재의 좌굴에 관한 실험적 연구 ( An Experimental Study on the Web Buckling of Lattice Beams )

본 연구에 있어서는 탄성역에서는 Euler식을, 비탄성역에서는 F.R. Shanley의 Tangent Modulus이론을 바탕으로 좌굴하중을 구하여,실험적인 결과와 비교분석하였다. 또한 Latice웨이브재의 좌굴 및 좌굴후 부재의 거동을 조사하여, 이를 토대로 한 교육좌굴장의 설정에 관한 기초자룔를 제공하고,부가적으로 현행 강구조설계규준안의 Critical Load를 검토 하였다.
컴퓨터에 의한 거형라아멘의 응력해석 ( Structural Analysis of A Rahmen by Computer )

건축구조에 사용되는 거형 라어멘의 최하층 규각에 해당하는 기초는 응력해석시는 개정 또는 핀으로 가정되는데 (실은 어느것도 그 실제와 다른 것이지만) 해법의 Parameter 는 강비이므로, 이 규각을 연결하는 지중량의 강비를 무한대로하면 개정, 0으로 하면 핀이 될 것이다. 그런데 개정으로 가정하고 응력해석을 구한 라아멘의 시설공은 보통 지중량의 강비를 주강비의 2,3배도 안되는 것으로 만족하고 있는 실정인데, 돌이켜 보면 지중량의 강비를 정직하게 정하고 응력해석을 하는 것이 현명 할 줄로 생각된다. 이러한 관점에서 필자는 개정인 때와 그렇지 않을 때의 두 가지 프로그램을 갖추었다. 여기서 소개되는것은 관례적으로 널리 사용되는 Fix인 경우만을 다루었다.
Nano-technology에 도입된 Dual Poly Gate에서의 DPN 공정 연구

The effects of radio frequency (RF) source power for decoupled plasma nitridation (DPN) process on the electrical properties and Fowler-Nordheim (FN) stress immunity of the oxynitride gate dielectrics for deep nano-technology devices has been investigated. With increase of RF source power, the threshold voltage (Vth) of a NMOS transistor(TR) decreased and that of a PMOS transistor increased, indicating that the increase of nitrogen incorporation in the oxynitride layer due to higher RF source power induced more positive fixed charges. The improved off-current characteristics and wafer uniformity of PMOS Vth were observed with higher RF source power. FN stress immunity, however, has been degenerated with increasing RF source power, which was attributed to the increased trap sites in the oxynitride layer. With the experimental results, we could optimize the DPN process minimizing the power consumption of a device and satisfying the gate oxide reliability.

This is a preliminary study intended to assess the feasibility that the Pilot Institute can be implemented at Hong-Ik University. There are as many as twenty universities throughout the country that have initiated the Pilot Institute up to the academic year 1975 in further and of their educational programs. The total number of credit hours as previously required, which include programs for Major, Minor, Electives, Teacher Education and the like. This study finds that these universities have maintained and exercised a wide range of discretion and flexibility in the implementation of Pilot Institute, not necessarily taking the same approach. It must be pointed out that these universities were faced with various problems and difficulties in the initial stages of the implementation of Pilot Institute; however, these problems and difficulties, which varied from one university to another, have been gradually removed or improved by the specific administrative measures taken by the respective universities. All of these universities have formulated both short and long-term plans of one kind or another, specifically designed to deal with their problems an difficuties arising from the implementation of Pilot Institute. It is particularly note worthy that with the implementation of Pilot Institute these universities have improved their educational programs and that they continue to make further improvements. As for Hong-Ik University, it has made a great deal of progress in the improvements of its over-all educational environment, especially in the past few years. It has formulated and applied a number of specific strategies in areas that were considered deficient and inadequate. This study finds that the University continues to make further improvements in all areas. It is recommended on the basis of the findings of this study that Hong-Ik University initiate the Pilot Institute in the near furture at a time when it is deemed appropriate, as determined by the University authorities, with a suggestion that it make further studies in this matter, while maintaining a closer contact with the other Pilot Institute universities in the hope that it can draw some benefits from their experiences in the implementation of Pilot Institute.
