This research studied mist metal-working process oil's manufacture and performance experiment. This is product for MQL system that use cold-air of new processing of a metal technology. MQL processing method is sprinkling lubrication oil with high speed in microscopic mist state in processing point, that can improve lubrication performance and processing performance and minimize amount used processing method. Advantage of this processing method is worker’s health protection and improvement of working environment, effect of economy of expenditure. But, various kinds problem of depression of existent vegetable oil, liquid Paraffin, Fatty acid Ester is happening with low temperature flow performance and lubrication performance problem. In this research, use Linear Alpha Olefin Oligomers and Base acid ester mixture by base oil. And made product of good performance because using function improvement admixture of minimum quantity. Choose correct item to product and executed a performance experiment. Showed good performance than mist metal-working process oil that do test result, Fatty acid ester by base oil.

The effect of oxidation in SAE 5W30 engine oils on friction and wear characteristics was investigated using reciprocating bench tester and shell 4-ball tester. Commercial engine oils were collected and oxidized using the KS M 2021 method modifying the oxidation time. Kinematic viscosity, total acid number(TAN), FT-IR spectrum and total base number(TBN) also measured to examine the chemical change of oils with oxidation. The results showed that TAN was slightly changed and Kinematic viscosity was suddenly increased during the oxidation stage. however, TBN results keep a constant slope after TBN linearly decreased with oxidation time. Spectroscopy results showed that spectrums were orderly increased at 1710 cm?¹ during the oxidation time. Friction test results showed that oxidation of oils formed unstable friction layers causing higher fluctuating friction. however, the wear resistance was independent of oxidized time due to the different friction characteristics by oxidation. We found several factors in relation to lubrication properties with oxidation time. This factors were Viscosity, TBN, change of FT-IR spectrum, friction coefficient using reciprocating bench tester and wear scar.

It is known that EGR is the best method dramatically decreasing NOx in diesel engine. but PM increase by trade-off. In this study, EGR was applied to construction machine for decreasing NOx and satisfying Tier Ⅲ regulation. This E-EGR is cooled by water and controled electrically. Test engine satisfy Tier Ⅱ regulation and is 13L and D9406TI. Test engine exhausted much NOx on more low speed and high load than high speed and load operation condition. NMHC+NOx is 5.161g/㎾ㆍh and PM is 1.117g/㎾ㆍh on the base. After applied, NMHC+NOx decreased to 3.735g/㎾ㆍh and PM decreased to 1.172g/㎾ㆍh. We checked that Tier Ⅲ regulation was satisfied by applying E-EGR.
대형디젤엔진용 Metal Fiber Filter의 미세입자 배출특성에 관한 연구

This study was focused on nanoparticle emission characteristics of metal fiber filter for heavy duty diesel engine. It was known that Metal Fiber Filter has many superior characteristics like high corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance(up to 1000℃), very low pressure drop, excellent mechanical strength, long on-stream life, high porosity. In this study, ESC(European Steady Cycle) and ETC(European Transient Cycle) was applied and PM(Particulate Matter) was measured directly from tail-pipe. DMS 500 was used to analyze PM behaviors. BPT(balance point temperature) of Metal Fiber Filter was about 380℃. Total Particle Number without DPF recorded 1.02×10?(#/㎤) on ESC and 2.38x10?(#/㎤) on ETC. These with DPF reduced to 2.11x10?(#/㎤) on ESC and 6.73x10 5(#/㎤) on ETC. Especially Nucleation mode on both modes was relatively more reduced than accumulation mode.

Recently, the enterprises solve like this problem, for a cost saving the amount used minimization of the water soluble cutting oil they research. The results are applied from the enterprise. The method which minimizes the use of the water soluble cutting oil is dry processing, MQL(Minimum Quantity Lubrication) and compressed cold air use method. And, according to quality of material of the work the tool wear and surface roughness changes. Researched processing quality from this dissertation. Uses TiN coated hardmetal tool and experimented the quality of material which is various in 4 methods(Dry, MQL, -30℃ Cold air, coolant). Experimented and got the next result. The material where the cut heat is high when metalworking-oil or cold air applying, was visible the tendency where the tool wear quantity comes to be few. And, MQL of the lubricating efficiency which is excellent or coolant compared in different cooling system and was visible the tendency where the surface roughness result gets better.
습동면유 겸용 수용성 금속가공유제의 제조 및 특성 연구

At processing of a metal process, much problems are happening by mixing between slide-way fluid and water-solubility metal-working fluid(MWF). In this study, measure physical & chemical properties and biodegradable properties of base stock and additives that is used to lubricant, and developed water-soluble metal working fluid by slide-way fluid combined use. Biodegradability of developed combined use fluid for 28 days is displayed lower than 10 ppm, and more superior performance than similar fluids in lubrication special quality test.
여러 자리 Schiff base를 이용한 고분자 막전극

본 연구에서는 전이 금속의 안정한 착화제인 여러자리 Schiff base를 합성하여 이온 선택성 전극에 대한 중성 운반체로써의 사용 가능성을 시도하였다. 네 자리 리간드인 SED를 이용한 막전극은 납(Ⅱ) 이온에 대하여 ?? M농도까지 28.3㎷/decade로 감응하였으며, 착물의 안정도에 따라 금속 이온에 따른 기울기가 달라졌다. 다섯 자리 리간드 SDET를 이용한 막전극은 전이 금속 이온에 대하여 좋은 감응 기울기를 보였으나 ?? M의 진한 농도에서는 전위 값이 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이는 SDET가 수용액 계면에서 암모늄 이온으로 되어 자유 운반체의 농도가 감소하고 음이온의 방해를 받는 것으로 나타났다. 중성 운반체가 없는 막전극은 수소 이온 선택성 전극만이 연구되어 있는데, SDET의 2차 아민부분을 이용하여 PVC에 합성한 결과 집게형의 구조로 되어 이론적인 Nemstian slope값에는 미치지 못하였으나 납(Ⅱ) 과 구리(Ⅱ) 이온에 대하여 선택성을 나타내었다. Ion-selective electrodes(ISEs) based on Schiff bases have been prepared and tested for the selective determination of transition metal ions. Tetradentate 〔N,N-bis(salicylaldehyde)ethylenediamine, SED〕 and pentadentate 〔N,N-bis(salicylaldehyde)diethylenetriamine, SDET〕 Schiff bases were synthesized and used as neutral carriers of polymer membrane electrodes. ISEs containing SED have shown sensitivity for several transition metal ions ?? and especially exhibited near-Nemstian response for ?? with a slope of 28.3mV/decade over a concentration range of ?? M in pH 4.5-6.0. Although the selectivity was not good for transition metal ions, they could be used in the presence of alkali or alkaline earth metal ions because of good selectivity. On the other hand, SDET ISEs have shown poor performance compared to SED-based ones. The poor functioning was ascribed to the fact that N-H group of SDET might be converted to ?? at the membrane -solution interface, which also lead to interference by anions in the test solution. To improve this problem, PVC-SDET was synthesized by binding to PVC support. This PVC-SDET-based ISE has not been interfered by anions and have shown selective response only to ?? and ?? among transition metal ions.
