비대칭 대역폭 위성망에서의 TCP 성능 향상을 위한 단말국 ACK 필터링 및 패킷 스케줄링 기법

상향 링크와 하향 링크의 대역폭이 다른 대역폭 비대칭 환경에서 TCP는 단말국 링크에서의 지연 및 손 실로 인해 전송율이 감소하는 문제점이 있다. 또한, 양방향 TCP 트래픽하에서는 연속적인 이터패킷이 버퍼에 주입됨으로써 전체 링크 효율이 저하된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 본 논문에서는 단 말국 ACK 필터링 기법과 단말국 패킷 스제줄링 기법을 제안한다. ACK 필터링은 대역폭이 제한된 상향 링 크에서 단말국의 송신 버퍼에 쌓인 ACK 패킷들을 제거하고 최근의 ACK 패킷만을 전송하고, 패킷 스케줄 링은 데이터 패킷과 ACK 패킷을 번갈아 전송하여 양방향 TCP 트래픽에서 발생하는 'clustering'과 'ack compression' 현상을 억제하는 기법이다. 모의 실험을 통해서 대역폭 비대칭 위성망에서 역방향 TCP 연결 의 데이터 전송을 보장하는 동시에 순방향 TCP 트래픽에서도 높은 전송율을 얻게되는 것을 확인하였다. A defect of decrease in TCP throughput can be investigated in asymmetric environment of different uplink and downlink bandwidths. Under two-way TCP traffic, the total link utilization is decreased by the successive injection of data packets in buffer. To solve these problems, terminal ACK filtering and packet scheduling mechanisms are introduced in this paper. ACK filtering eliminates the buffered ACK packets and transmits recent ACK packets in the uplink with limited bandwidth. Packet scheduling is the method of preventing 'clustering' and 'ack compression' states which are generated in the two-way TCP traffic. The guarantee of the data traffic in reverse TCP connection and the high throughput in forward TCP connection are investigated by simulation.

지정학의 글로벌 스케일 접근

지정학은 공간을 향한 인간의 본성에 근접하는 학문 영역이다. 기후가 온화하며 식량 확보가 수월하고, 안전이 보장되며 미적으로 수려한 공간은 누구나 선호한다. 이런 곳에 사람들이 모여들어 문명을 만들고 번영을 구가하여 온 것은 역사적으로 사실이다. 국가의 입장에서 공간을 보면 구성원들의 공간을 향한 기본적인 욕구를 충족시켜야 좋은 국가이고 강한 주권을 행사할 가능성이 높아진다. 따라서 국가는 강대국이 될수록 공간 확장과 통제를 위해서 유용하다고 인정된 지정 전략들을 적극적으로 구사하여 왔다. 전통적으로 지정학의 유형은 집중, 개입, 확산의 세 가지로 분류하여 볼 수 있다. 집중 지정학은 군사력을 중심으로 자국의 이익을 극대화하려는 전략이며, 개입 지정학은 무력 사용의 여력이 충분하다는 것을 전제로 경제적 수단을 병행하는 지정 전략이며, 확산 지정학은 세계화에 따른 국제사회의 행위 주체들의 다양한 등장을 수용하면서 연성권력을 활용하는 공간 관리 전략을 의미한다. 이들은 권력정치 중심의 지정학 논리를 벗어나지 않는다는 점에서 전통적이다. 여기에 글로벌 스케일을 도입하면 비정치적이고 비권력적이며 인간 중심의 지정학의 본질에 충실한 지정적 사고가 생성된다. 글로벌화는 지구 규모에서 초국적 협력과 연대, 행동이 가능한 실제적이면서 동시에 가상적인 융합된 공간을 창출하고 있다. 기존의 전통적인 지정 전략 수단인 군사력을 사용하지 않더라도 확보 가능한 새로운 공간에 관한 질서 체계를 글로벌 스케일의 지정학이 제시할 수 있을 것이다. Geopolitics is an academic sphere in related with human instinct closely. Everyone prefers spaces that have good climates, plentiful foods, and safe and beautiful areas. These places have gathered people, created civilizations, and glorified flourishes in view of historical facts. Nation state has to fulfill desire of the people for space, then it is good and strong state. The more powerful nation has been become, the more positive strategy has been practiced in all aspects of geopolitical national interests. Traditionally, types of geopolitics are classified as concentration, intervention, and diffusion modes. The concentration geopolitics is a strategy to maximize national interest by military power. The intervention geopolitics uses an economic tools based on sufficient military power for national profit. The diffusion geopolitics means a space management strategy through diverse soft powers for national advantage according to globalization. These are traditional in that they do not escape from power politics logic of geopolitics. A human-centered geopolitical thinking can be generated via global scale with non-political and out of power politics. Globalization is creating confused real and virtual spaces that are possible to collaborate, join, and act at transnational earth levels. Global scale geopolitics will be able to provide a new space order system without dangerous military power as a geopolitical strategic means.

초연결사회는 글로벌화된 세계 질서의 작동을 묘사하는 용어이다. 디지털 정보사회의 진화와 혁신은 지능정보기술로 표상되는 4차 산업혁명 시대를 견인하고 있다. 인공지능과 사물인터넷, 빅데이터와 블록체인은 상호 결합하여 기계지능과 만물인터넷으로 진화하고 있으며, 이러한 지능화된 정보통신기술이 인간생활에 다양한 공리를 제공하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 하지만 초연결사회의 지능정보기술은 구조적이고 은밀한 통제의 가능성도 가지고 있다. 따라서 글로벌교육의 실질적인 인권 지향이 필요하다. 전반적으로 지능정보기술이 제공한 초연결성은 글로벌화를 가속화시켜 인권의 보편성과 평등성, 상호연계성의 실현을 지원해준다. 이것은 글로벌교육이 지향하는 자유와 평등, 정의의 구현을 통한 지속가능한 평화의 구축 가능성과 연결되어 있다. 글로벌화된 인권은 글로벌교육의 구성개념들과 동일한 궤적을 그리면서 실천되는 과정에서 상호교차적으로 초연결사회라는 현실세계에 재현될 수 있다. Hyper-connected society can be described an operation of globalization in new world order. The evolution and innovation of a digital information society is taking the fourth industrial revolution by intelligence information technology. Artificial Intelligence, internet of things, big data, and block chain is transformed machine intelligence and internet of everything. It is true that these intelligent information technologies provide many diverse utilities to human life. But, in other aspects, intelligence information technologies have a lot of possibilities of control and oppression structurally and potentially in human society. Therefore, global education needs an authentic orientation to human rights positively. Globalization is accelerated by a hyper connectivity, this is related with a sustainable peace construction of global education.

인공지능 시대의 글로벌 역사 관점

This paper includes a change of human life according to artificial intelligence evolution. The fourth industrial revolution represents a new global history perspectives to real world than before ages. The first to third industrial revolution is proceeded for human life efficiency in aspects of human physical power and simple knowledge. But contemporary transformation of history is related to human mind and soul through super artificial intelligence. This is a different change than before civilizations. Artificial intelligence is developed as an autonomous machine or super intelligence based on deep learning technologies. In this respect, the role of artificial intelligence is a game changer in global history perspectives and has a possibility and concern for a planet future. The most important task for a free and equal human life is a human-friendly artificial intelligence evolution. This is a very pivotal point to human view. 이 글은 인공지능의 진화에 따른 인간 생활의 변화를 조망하는 논지를 담고 있다. 4차 산업혁명은 이전과는 다른 글로벌 역사 관점을 현실세계에 재현하고 있다. 이전의 산업혁명 과정은인간의 물리적 힘을 증강하거나 대체하여 인간 생활의 편의성을 증진하는 것이었다. 하지만 4차산업혁명은 이에 더하여 인간의 정신적 영혼까지 관여하는 초지능형 인공지능을 가능하게 한다는 점에서 차원을 달리한다. 인공지능은 딥러닝이라는 혁신적인 기술을 바탕으로 연결형, 융합형을 거쳐 자율형 기계지능을 갖춘 초지능형으로 발전하여 왔다. 글로벌 역사의 관점에서 주목할만한 변환 가능성이 나타났다는 점에서 인공지능의 게임 체인저로서의 역할에 대한 기대와 우려가교차되는 시점이 도래한 것이다. 인간친화적인 인공지능은 아무런 문제가 없다. 그러나 초지능형범용 인공지능기술이 자율적 판단 능력을 갖고 인간을 대체하거나 능가하는 경우는 인간의 존엄성이 침해되는 상황이 나타날 수도 있다. 이런 점에서 통제 가능한 자율형 인공지능이 인간의육체와 영혼을 자유롭고 평등하고 풍요롭게 하도록 디자인하는 것은 매우 중대하고도 필수적인 과제이다.

사회과 현장 실행연구 신드롬의 방법론적 성찰

사회과 수업연구에서 실행연구는 방법적 확장을 지속하고 있다. 실행연구 신드롬이라고지칭할 만큼 현장 연구자들이 널리 활용하는 연구방법이 되었다. 본질적으로 실행연구방법은 정성연구 계보에 속하는 연구전통을 갖고 있다. 계획, 실천, 성찰하는 순환적 연구 과정에서 연구 참여자들은 등가적 위치에서 직접 참여를 하게 되며, 협력하여 성장을 도모한다. 실행 연구자의 주요 관심은 있는 그대로의 현장을 관찰 기록하여 서술하고 해석하는 데있다. 이러한 정성연구 전통의 실행연구는 확증의 문제와 만나게 된다. 일반적으로 연구자들은 삼각검증 논리를 도입하여 타당도와 신뢰도, 일반화 가능성을 확보하려고 노력한다. 이때정량연구 방법론이 취하고 있는 확증 논리들을 과잉 적용하려는 연구현실이 나타나면서 방법론적 불안정성이 발생하게 된다. 연구결과의 논증에 실험연구 모사하기, 인과관계를 계량적 기법으로 검증하기 등 정성연구에서는 불필요한 절차가 시도되는 것이다. 여기서는 실행연구의 과학성이 연구의 경험적 엄밀성에 있다고 보고, 자연성, 합치성, 전이가능성이라는대안적 용어와 논리를 삼각검증과 연계하여 제시하였다. The expanding of action research method is continuing in social studies lesson study. It becomes a research method that is adapted in social studies field extensively and can be designated as action research syndrome. Action research method belongs in a genealogy of qualitative research tradition inherently. All research participants involve a spiral sequence constructed as ‘plan-action-reflection’ procedure, they have a part in equivalent partners, and persist in collaborative growth. The main concerns of action researcher are a set of observation, description, and interpretation about lesson study field directly and naturally. They meet a problem of corroboration that is caused by qualitative methodology. Commonly action researchers endeavor for validity, reliability, and generalization through a logic of triangulation. At this point, a methodological instability occurs because of an over application of quantitative method and technique in real study sphere. A needless process in the field of qualitative research is tried for prove study result with a kind of logic of experiment and verification to causality. The scientific feature of action research should be discovered from empirical rigor and truth. This paper offers an alternative term and logic that is consisted of the natural, the fit, and transferability in related with triangulation.
