Vapor-Liquid equilibrium data are frequently correlated in terms of activity coefficients. Gautreaux derived equation for obtaining activity coefficients at infinite dilution in binary system. By correlating this equation to the x-t relation, a new simplified equation was derived, and verified its conveniency and usefulness. Use of the equation was illustrated.

The specimen was prepared by means of vacuum deposition on the glass substrate under the pressure of 5×10^-5∼10^-4mmHg, and in measureiug the film thickness multiple-beam interferometric method was applied. The measurement of resistivity was carried out in the vacuum chamber, and the temperature was varied from 20℃ to 200℃. In the resnlt, it was fouud that the thermal coefficient of resistivity of antimony is positive, but in case of bismuth, on the contrary, is negative, and the thicker the film thickness is the larger the thermal coefficient slope is.

On the basis of the relationship between concept in basic design and physics. This study attempt that in principle of basic design as scientific approach, an variety of concept is possible, as a result of the combination at a relatively principle concept at basic design and physics. This study provide an orderly arrangement at a factor to be considered in solving basic design problems. The basic concept of design study into conceptual separately through principles concept of ENTROPY UNCERTAINTY and RELATIVITY. Each concept of physics is only verbal suggestion without visual configuration, and the interpretation of verbal and non-verbal image attempt on experimental study through my lecture.

Loss of lead contained in organic materials during ignition was studied by means of thermogravimetry and quantitative analysis of the ignited ash extracts by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. As the results, thermogravimetric analysis of four lead compounds shown that each of the single lead compound does not loss its lead during ignition even at above 500℃. However, lead compound contained in organic materials such as rice, flour, PVC etc. usually loss its lead significantly at above 500℃. Concluently, it is suggested that oxidation of the organic material influence much on the volatility of the lead contained in the organic material.

The aim of this study is to provide construction information concerning the radiant power of λ=6328 A˚as a function of the discharge current, total pressure, and partial pressure of He and Ne. The optimum conditions with respect to each of these parameters were obtained. A continuously pumped cold-cathode He-Ne laser with 3S_2-2P_4 (λ=6328 A˚) transition of Ne was constructed. The length of the discharge was 28cm, with an internal tube diameter of 1.5mm. The tube, initially was baked at 150-200℃, keeping the pressure less than 2×10 exp (-6) Torr for 12 hours, after which it was refilled with a fresh mixture of He ard Ne. The optimum current value depends strongly upon the total pressure and ratio of He to Ne concentration. An increase in the partial pressure ratio of He to Ne results in a shifts of the maximum power to higher pressure. The optimal propertion of He th Ne is seen to be about 7:1.
