The study aims to research air-conditioning and new & renewable energy application methods that can reduce energy and operation costs considering initial costs. By searching the optimum application methods, it is expected to maximize the cooling/heating and hot water supply energy and improve efficiencies of systems for educational facilities. Therefore, this study implemented a research on the new & renewable energy utilization technique diffusion expansion method and the optimum method. As a result, the plan which has the least life cycle cost was introduced with the multi-type geothermal heat pump 255.2㎾ + highly efficient electronic cooling/heating device (EHP) 168.2㎾. On the other hand, the plan which have the least energy cost was induced as the multi-type geothermal heat pump 174㎾ + solar heat collector 94 m² + highly efficient electronic cooling/heating device (EHP) 249.4㎾.

The research aims to study a new, optimum and renewable energy application method that can cover the minimum energy and operation costs within a range of school budgets. By deriving the optimum application method, it is expected to maximize the cooling/heating and water heating energy saving efficiencies for educational facilities. Therefore, this research carried out a study on the new/renewable energy utilization technique diffusion expansion method and the optimum method. As a result, the first optimum plan was introduced with the multi-type geothermal heat pump 174㎾ + solar heat collector 94 m² + highly efficient electronic cooling/heating device (EHP) 249.4㎾. On the other hand, the second optimum plan was induced as the multi-type geothermal heat pump 255.2㎾ + highly efficient electronic cooling/heating device (EHP) 168.2㎾.

기존 건물의 Double-Skin Construction 응용에 관한 고찰

Double-Skin Construction is a buffer space which can mitigate the change of the outdoor environments. The Double-Skin construction in architecture can lead to improvement of environmental performance in parent building. This is a fundamental study of envelope design which can be positive in response to outdoor environments. In this study, we analyzed building environmental performance through the case study of exsiting buildings which have the concept of Double-Skin Construction. This case study resulted in finding many problems. Those problems are due to fragmentary study without over-all environmental performance consideration. Therefore this study suggests to quantitative analysis about over-all environmental performance in the future.

In the present study, the problem of the won of solar radiation was analyzed to search an appropriate method in Korea. This study illustrats the equation of Lui & Jordan, the equation of P. Chouard, the equation of Bouguer, the program of T. Muneer and the meteorological data of SAREK, for the comparison. The results from the study are as follows; 1. It is found that solar radiataan has a close correlation with the condition of atmospheric layer. 2. In computating the direct radiation, the equation shown the most highest correlation is the equation of P. Chouard and of Bouguer. 3. In computating the defuse radiation, the equation Shown the most highest correlation is the equation of Bauguer. 4. In computating the total radiation, the equation shown the most highest correlation with the data of SAREK is the equation of Lui & Jordan equation. 5. Therefore, in order to predict solar radiation in Korea, to use the equation of Lui Jordan would be a most appropriate to use.
