지속적 유산소 운동이 비만인의 체지방 감소에 미치는 영향

Through observation, Ⅰ researched the effectiveness of aerobic exercise towards the reduction of accumulative fat among the obese. Ⅰ devided the subjects into two groups: Group 1 was put on a diet program that included aerobic exercise. Group 2, the comparison group, was strictly put on a dietary weight loss program that did not include any exercise. Group 1 practiced continuous aerobic exercise which included walking, jogging, and bicycling. The 45-60 minute programs included warm-up exercise as well as regimental exercise. The frequency of exercising was 3 to 5 times per week over a period of 2 months. The reaserch results showed an average accumulative fat reduction ratio of 5.356% among the experimental group that was put under a diet and exercise program. The comparison group (diet only) showed a fat reduction ratio of just 0.709%. Furthermore, the experimental group showed an average weight loss of 6.23kg from accumulative fat quantity reduction, while the comparison group showed an average loss of just 1.068%. In view of the results so far achieved, Ⅰ support ASDA's(1978) Report. I agree continuous cardiovascular exercise reduces the accumulation of fat and obesity. The best way to fitness is to carry out maximum oxygen intake of 60% intensity more than 20 minutes 3 times a week.
노인체조프로그램 참여가 뇌졸중으로 인한 거동장애노인의 신체조성과 생활동작능력에 미치는 영향

The study examined the effect of the body composition and life activity of seniors suffered from movement disturbances due to Cerebral Vascular Accident (C.V.A). The gymnastics was designed to improve the health of seniors. Twenty seniors were put into the exercise three times a week for twenty four weeks. In-Body 3.0 and Barthel's life movement index scal recorded the improvement in the seniors health. The following changes in data was observed.1. The mean body weight from 64.1(±9.39)kg to 63.8(±8.62)kg2. The mean body fat weight from 18.6(±3.24)kg to 17.8(±4.07)kg, the mean body fat percent from 29.3(±4.83)% to 27.9(±5.51)%3. Lean body mass from 45.5(±9.39)kg to 46(±8.62)kg, Basal Metabolic Rate(BMR) from 1228.4 (±157.69)Kcal to 1241.8(±140.51)Kcal4. Through movement therapy the seniors acquired higher independent life activity index after program: (42.8±5.1); those who lacked had (20.8±5.3).5. Higher movement index: (46.78±15.86) was observed in the seniors under movement therapy; those who lacked had (38.35±20.7).

The purpose of this study was to examine Resting Metabolic Rate (BMR) and Body Fat changes following Weight loss by continuous aerobic exercise in obese women. The Subjects of the present study were 9 women : 9 women (whe were above by fat 30%) were carried out aerobic exercise such as aerobic dance, walking, jogging and cycling (ergometer) 6 times per week in a months. The subjects arrived into the laboratory in the morning atter 12 hour overnight fasting All subjects measured RmR, % body FAT and Fat Fres mass at weight loss program starting time, after 10weeks. All the RMR values were expressed as absolute value(kcal/day), absolute value/FFM(kcal/day/FFM) and absolute value/BSA(kcal/m^2/hr), and were calauated predicted RMR va;ue value minus actual RMR value. The weight and % body fat were significant differences in change of body composition following weight loss(p<0.05). Also, there were significant reduction before weight loss and after weight loss of %body fat. After weight loss was significant reduction than before weight loss in difference beween predicted BMR value and actual RMR valus(p<0.05). On conclusion, Actual RMR expressed as FFM increased in weight loss program by continuous aerobic exercise. The Research results showed that continuous aerobic exercises such as aerobic dance, walking, jogging and cycling are effectise to reduce body fat and to increase Resting mtabolic Rate(RMR).
한국 노인의 여가 및 건강 활동 실태조사와 활성화 방안 - 미국 뉴욕주 거주 한인 노인과 비교하여 -

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze real condition of leisure and health activities between Korean and Korean-American elderly people. Methods: 240 elderly people (120 Korean and 120 Korean-American), aged 60 to 90 years old, were selected as a participant for the study. The health, happiness, and stress level questionnaire, the life satisfaction questionnaire, leisure participation level & time, reason for leisure participation and satisfaction questionnaire for leisure program were used as measuring tool for investigation. The data of the study were analyzed by frequency analysis and independent t-test. The statistical significant level of this study was set-up as α=.05. Results: The results of this study were as follows. 1) Both Korean and Korean-American elderly people showed that they have participated in the leisure activities because of their health. 2) Result of participating time of leisure activities showed that Korean elderly group participated 30 minutes more than Korean-American elderly group (p<.001). 3) Results of health level, happiness level, and stress level factors of two groups showed that Korean elderly group had higher level in happiness level factor than Korean-American elderly group (p<.01) 4) Results of the life satisfaction factors showed that Korean elderly group had higher level in future life satisfaction factor than Korean-American elderly group (p<.01). Conclusion: In conclusion, life quality, participation of leisure activities, and life satisfaction of Korean elderly people have improved compared with past years. Therefore, leisure activation plan for Korean elderly people should be composed more actively at the government level.

The purpose of the current study was to examine the effects of leisure satisfaction based on ground, water, air leisure sport-tourism activities on wellness. A total of 437 respondents were selected from three different leisure sport-tourism activities such as ground, water, and air leisure sport-tourism activities using the quota sampling method. The findings were as follows: First, leisure satisfaction with air leisure sport-tourism activities was higher than ground and water leisure sport-tourism activities, and it of water leisure sport-tourism activities was higher than ground leisure sport-tourism activities. Second, the perception of wellness from air leisure sport-tourism activities was higher than it from ground and water leisure sport-tourism activities. Finally, leisure satisfaction with leisure sport-tourism activities had a positive influence on the perception of wellness.
거동장애노인을 위한 신체자극 복합 체조 프로그램 개발 및 효과

The purpose of this study is to provide a gymnastics program to seniors suffering from mild dementia and walking problems. For twenty four weeks, twenty eight seniors suffering from mild dementia and walking problems exercised with this new gymnastic program. The study subjects exercised, using this program three times per week. As a result, the movement index after the gymnastic program came out to be 46.78±17.86, higher than the score 38.35±21.7. The difference came out to be<SUP>*</SUP>p<.05, <SUP>**</SUP>p<.01. The left hand grasping power increased to 20.28 from 18.48; the average difference was <SUP>*</SUP>p<0.5. The right arms strength increased to 20.16 from 18.37, although this difference did not count statistically important. The cardiovascular endurance increased to 186.11 from 160.5. And, this difference was <SUP>*</SUP>p<.05, statistically meaningful.
