Currently, our society has been changed from the industrial society to the information society. As the war progresses to Information Warfare, Network-Centric Warfare, Long-Range Precision Engagement and Robot Warfare, the military should advance to High-tech Scientific force. For this creation of the war potential, it is regarded as the warfighting experiment is a critical method. Surely it is rational that LVC(Live Virtual Constructive simulation) is desirable to make the warfighting experiment. But because it is limited by the cost, the time, the place and the resource, the constructive simulation(M&S : Modeling&Simulation) is a good tool to solve those problems. There are some studies about the evaluation process for developing the model, but it is unsatisfying in the process of the constructive simulations' operation. This study focuses on the way of constructive simulation operation, which is supplied with the evaluation process(VV&A : Verification Validation & Accreditation). We introduce the example of the rear area operation simulation for "appropriateness evaluation to the organization of logistic corps" by the AWAM(Army Weapon Analysis Model). This study presents the effective methods of the constructive simulations, which is based on the reliable evaluation process, so it will contribute to the warfighting experiments.
제조기업의 혁신 성공요인과 혁신 역량이 성과에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 제조기업의 혁신 성공요인과 혁신 역량이 기업의 성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 탐색적으로 검증한 것이다.혁신 성공요인은 최고경영자의 태도와 지원, 협력,문화를 사용하였고,혁신 역량은 R&D 역량,생산 역량,학습 역량을 사용하였다.연구결과,혁신 성공요인이 혁신 역량을 통하여 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.이는 기업 간에 유사한 혁신 성공요인이 있더라도 기업이 보유한 혁신 역량에 따라 다른 성과가 나타날 수 있다는 것을 의미한다.따라서,본 연구는 기업이 지닌 혁신 역량에 대한 고찰 및 강화에 대한 전략적 필요성을 제시하는데 기여할 것으로 판단된다. This research is concerned with the relations between innovation success factors, innovation capabilities and performance.It examined mediating effect of innovation capabilities (R&D,operation,and learning)between the innovation success factors (CEO's attitude and attention,cooperation,and culture) and performance. There search results indicate some suggestions for managing innovation. First, the research results indicate that innovation success factors affect performance through innovation capabilities. This means that the performances of firms with similar innovation success factors mightvary because of different innovation capabilities. Second,cooperation in this paper means cooperation among teams or members of an enterprise. The performance of an enterprise is evaluated on the basis that the enterprise is a single unit.Consequently,the CEO and all member so fan enterprise must consider the synergy effect of departments or the functions of the enterprise from the standpoint ofthe enterprise as a whole.

This paper developed measurement indices for intellectual capital of public R&D organizations and investigated causal relationships among the components. We developed 10 measurement factors and 37 indicators and confirmed the reliability of these measurements. We offered an alternative to the existing model for searching causal relationships. From our survey research, using the structural equation model, we found a new relationship. In contrast to the existing model, we found a cycling relationship among three variables: human capital causes structural capital, structural capital causes relational capital, and relational capital causes human capital.

Korean small and medium industries have many problems that hinder the improvement of efficiency in productions and operations management. I listed 12 problems of it which may be summarized as follows: 1. The lowering of production efficiency originated from job shop production. 2. The insufficiency of production standard (historical data). 3. The absence of mental resources which makes possible the effective management. 4. The confusion in inventory control. 5. Quality control and Q.C. circle is not yet utilized sufficiently. 6. The excessive material handling. 7. The imperfection of horizontal reporting. 8. The rapid increase of workers' transfer. 9. The disorder of layout. 10. The lack of R & ll investment. 11. No planning of the longterm prcduction. 12. The observance of the time limit for delivery.
