AgI-based Fast Ionic Conductor의 합성 및 전기적 성질

AgI(80 mol%)를 기질로 하여 AgBr 15 mol% + CuI 5mol%, AgBr 10 mol% + CuI 10mol%, AgBr 5 mol% + CuI 5mol%의 계를 제조하여 이들의 이온 전도성을 상온에서 200$^{\circ}C$까지 임피던스분석기(impedance analyzer)를 이용하여 측정한다. 이 온도영역에서 활성화에너지는 0.6∼0.7 eV를 얻을 수 있었으며, 5 mol% AgBr계의 이온 전도성이 가장 컸으며 활성화에너지는 가장 작음을 보였다. The AgI systems containing various mol% of AgBr and CuI were synthesized. X-ray analyses revealed that all synthesized systems had face centered cubic structures. Using impedance analyzer, electrical conductivity measurements of these systems were carried out at temperatures from 20 to 200$^{\circ}C$. From this measurement, it was found that the activation energies of these systems were in the range 0.6∼0.7 eV and the system containing 5 mol% AgBr showed the highest conductivity and the smallest activity energy.

The effect of various factors on NOx conversion was investigated for urea-SCR, the selective catalytic reduction using urea as reducing agent. Zeolite-based SCR catalysts were tested in the ESC test cycle using a 4L diesel engine, with and without diesel oxidation catalyst. The theoretical maximum NOx conversion was considered based on the SCR kinetics and it was compared with the NOx conversions obtained experimentally on various experimental conditions. NH₃/NOx ratio, NO₂/NOx ratio and reaction temperature are the main factors affecting the DeNOx performance of SCR system. Additionally, the distance between urea dosing point and SCR catalyst significantly influences the performance of SCR catalyst.

K2NiF4-type organic-based perovskites of the (C4H9NH3)2FexPb1-xCl4 (x=0.00, 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75) system have been synthesized using a low-temperatu re solution method under a flowing argon gas. When stoichiometric butylamine, iron chloride, and lead chloride are mixed, a yellow solution are obtained from slow cooling of 90 to -10 $^{\circ}C.$ The final product is a plate-like yellow crystal. The X-ray crystallographic analysis has been carried out using XRD in the range of $5^{\circ}{\leq}$ 2${\theta}$ ${\leq}80^{\circ}.$ The local symmetry around the absorbing Pb atom of the samples has been determined by the EXAFS spectroscopic study. The crystals assign to orthorhombic system by the XRD analysis. The FT-IR spectra are analyzed in the range of 600 to 3300 cm-1 . DSC and TGA are measured to detect thermal stability between 30 and 300 $^{\circ}C.$ Two endothermic peaks are detected in all samples. The electrical conductivity has been measured using the four-probes technique for the (C4H9NH3)2FexPb1-xCl4 system in 300-460 K. Photoluminescence phenomenon was also investigated at room-temperature.
Synthesis and Characterization of the Layered $K_2NiF_4$ Type $(C_nH_{2n+1}NH_3)_2PbCl_4$ System

Layered $K_2NiF_4$type ($C_nH_{2n+1}NH_3)_2PbCl_4$(n=6, 8 and 10) system, or alkylammonium tetrachloroplumbate compound, has been synthesized from $PbCl_2$ and $C_nH_{2n+1}NH_3Cl$ solutions under argon ambient pressure for 12hrs at $90^{\circ}C$. The crystal structure of the compound has been analyzed using X-ray powder diffaction in the range of $5^{\circ}{\leq}2{\theta}{\leq}55^{\circ}$, and all samples assigned to an orthorhombic system. Local distances of the Pb-Cl bond have been determined by Pb $L_{III}$-edge extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy. The vibration modes of alkylammonium chains and the absorpton peaks of an excition have been examined by FT-IR and UV-Vis. reflectance spectra, respectively. The phase transition temperatures of the compounds have been studied by using DSC. According to the thermal analysis, two phase transition temperatures have been observed in the compositons of n=8 and 10.

Internal carotid-posterior communicating artery aneurysms are frequently related to third nerve palsy which is reversible after the clipping of aneurysm. The authors had analyzed 61 cases in 52 patients who have posterior communicating artery aneurysm and evaluated the factors affecting the development of third nerve palsy and its recovsry after clipping of the aneurysm. The results are followings. 1) Oculomotor nerve palsy was noticed in 10 patients(16.4%) among 61 cases of posterior communicating artery aneurysm. of which 6 had complete and 4 had partial patsies. 2) Posterolateral inferior direction of the aneurysm seemed to be closely related to the development of ophthalmoplegia. 3) Development of ophthalmoplegia was not related to the clinical status of the patient on admission. but to the amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage on initial CT scan and size of the aneurysm. 4) Preoperative degree of third nerve palsy and the timing of operation are not definitely related to the recovery of ophthalmoplegia. 5) The recovery of third nerve palsy are normalization of ptosis. normalization of EOM limitation and normalization of pupiliary change in order.

It is well Known that the prognosis of spontaneous SAH(subarachnoid hemorrhage) of undetermined cause is generally favorable. Yet. the natural history and pathogenesis of SAH of undetermined cause remain controversial and patients management is largely empirical. 42 cases of non-traumatic SAH of undetermined cause of a total of 415 cases of SAH treated during a 5-year period(1991-1996) were available for this stydy. What should be done when angiography is negative after SAH? This study was undertaken to present a more definitive menagement in preventing rebleeding after SAH of undetermined cause. This study show that explorative craniotomy for aneurysmal operation is warranted. despite negative cerebral panangiograms. if the patient manifests the classical signs and symptoms of SAH and definite subarachnoid blood in CT(computed tomogram) or durect kynbar oybctyre and any suspicious lesions in cerebral panangiography. particularly the ACoA(anterior communicating artery) region.
