최근 사물인터넷에 대한 국제적 관심과 각종 비즈니스 모델에 대해 연구들이 다양화 되고 있다. 이에 하나의 프로젝트 수행을 통해 IoT 기술에 대한 응용기술을 우리 실생활에 어떻게 적용하는가를 보다 깊이 관찰하여 우리 인간이 편리하고 안전하게 삶을 영위할 수있는가를 의료분야에서 찾아보고 앞으로 노인 인구가 급증하고 건강에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있는바 IoT기술을 보다 효과적으로 사용하고 노인환자들의 위치기반 안전관리시스템을 통해 위험지역 접근을 사전에 예방할 수 있는 체계를 연구하였다. IoT시스템의 실효성과 향후 보다 발전된 응용기술이 어떤 것이 있는지 살펴보고 그 대응방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Two cases of Eagle's syndrome are reported. The first case involved a 31-year-old man who complained of pain in his throat and pain at preauricular area on turning his head. Panoramic and computed tomography (CT) views showed bilateral stylohyoid ligament ossification. The symptoms were relieved after surgical removal. The second case involved a 56-year-old female whose chief complaints were a continuous dull pain and occasional 'shooting' pain on lower left molar area. During the physical examination, an ossified stylohyoid ligament was palpated at the left submandibular area. Panoramic and CT images showed prominent bilateral stylohyoid ligament ossification. CT scans also showed hypertrophy of left medial and lateral pterygoid muscles. The symptoms were relieved after medication. CT is a useful tool for the examination of ossified stylohyoid ligaments and studying the relationship between Eagle's syndrome and adjacent soft tissue.
배터리 전류 되먹임에 의한 직렬식 하이브리드 시스템의 발전 및 충전 제어 기법

내연기관을 이용한 직렬식 하이브리드 시스템은 일반적으로 발전기의 출력 측에 병렬로 배터리를 장착하게 된다. 이때 하이브리드 시스템의 PMU (Power Management Unit)는 배터리의 SOC (State Of Charge)값을 기반으로 제어 법칙이 작동 된다 [1-2]. 현재 배터리의 SOC값이 설정된 값보다 작을 경우 배터리 충전, 그렇지 않을 경우 배터리 방전 상태가 되는 히스테리시스나 뱅뱅 제어 방식으로 인해 배터리의 충/방전 상태가 계속 해서 일어나게 되는데, 배터리 충전 효율에 의한 에너지 손실이 발생 되는 단점이 존재 한다. 또한 발전기와 배터리의 동시 출력 제어가 복잡하고 까다롭다. 본 논문에서는 직렬식 하이브리드 시스템의 배터리에 전류 센서를 장착하여 배터리 전류 되먹임에 의한 전력 제어 방법을 제안 한다. 제안된 방식은 실시간으로 변하는 부하 전력을 추종하고, 발전기와 배터리의 동시 출력 제어 및 배터리 충전 제어까지 가능하게 한다. The combustion engine based series hybrid system has parallelly connected batteries. In general the Power Management Unit charges the battery based on the signal of the batterie"s State Of Charge from the battery management system. If the SOC is less then pre-defined threshold, the PMU starts battery charging by adjusting the engine power until charge up to specific SOC [1-2]. This method is well known as Hysteresis or Bang-Bang control. The Hysteresis or Bang-Bang control is good enough for generic series hybrid system. But because it makes the battery charging and discharging continuously, the batterie"s lifetime would be shorten and the system efficiency would be affected by batterie"s charging efficiency. Moreover special function, such as simultaneous rated-power output control of battery/generator is almost impossible or it"s hard to implement. In this thesis, we provide a control method including battery charging and simultaneous rated-power output of battery/generator. This proposed method enables the series hybrid system to follow the load power with generator power in realtime. Because of this feature, battery discharge is not occurred for load so it makes batterie"s lifetime longer and the system"s efficiency is not affected by charging efficiency.

Thirteen-year-old girl complaining of the swelling and pain on the left midface visited our dental hospital. On the radiogaphic examination, well-defined radiolucent lesion with hyperostotic border was found in the left maxilla accompanying with the external root resorption of the involved teeth and the displaced second molar. CT showed calcified bodies, thinning of hard palate, inferior orbital wall and lateral wall of nasal fossa, and thinning and perforation of the buccal plate of the maxilla. Enucleation and curettage of the lesion and nasoantrostomy was carried out and histopathologic examination mainly showed a solid tumor tissue composed of odontogenic epithelium and pulp tissues admixed with dentin and enamel formation. And some part of reduced follicular epithelium of tooth germ showed a change mimicking calcifying odontogenic cyst, Taken together, we concluded the lesion is an ameloblastic fibro-odontoma with a change of calcifying odontogenic cyst. Fibrous dysplasia is believed to be a hamartomatous developmental lesion of unknown origin. This disease is divided into monostotic and polyostotic fibrous dysplasia. Polyostotic type can be divided into craniofacial type, Lichtenstein-Jaffe type, and McCune-Albright syndrome. In this case, a 31-year-old female presented spontaneous loss of right mandibular teeth before 5 years and has shown continuous expansion of right mandibular alveolus. Through the radiographic view, the coarse pattern of the mixed radiopaque-lucent lesion was seen on the right mandibular body, and there was diffuse pattern of the mixed radiopaque-lucent lesion with ill-defined margin in the left mandibular body. In the right calvarium, the lesion had cotton-wool appearance. Partial excision for contouring, multiple extraction, and alveoloplasty were accomplished under general anesthesia for supportive treatment. Finally we could conclude this case was polyostotic fibrous dysplasia of cranio-maxillofacial area based on the clinical, radiologic finding, and histopathologic examination.
