        An interlocking equipment of railway signalling systems is manufactured with electrical devices and electrical interlocking equipment has been substituted for existing interlock equipment(relay sequential logic type). But interlock conditions are still generated from rail diagram and used to make Interlock Table manually. In order to make EIS(Electrical Interlock System) operate, we should write interlock data which is made from interlock table. But, as the station is larger and more complicated, handwork may becomes a very tediou work and makes more mistakes. Therefore the developement of CAD system for Interlocking System is very significant, if CAD can reduce the mistakes from handwork and help the configuring the interlocking system. In this paper, we first arrange some rules which can be used to extract route information automatically from rail diagram and interocking rules. And then we propose "Search-And-Rollback" algorithm to extract route information and individual interlocking rules. The proposed algorithm is implemented and tested through the signal design process of the Hyundai-Steel private railway to carry melted pig iron from the blast furnace to the steel-making workshop. some cases. It shows that CAD for Interlocking system is very helpful in time saving aspect and system reliability.

      • 해안 고정식 파력발전기(OWC)의 최적화 형상 연구

        해안 고정식 진동수주형(OWC) 파력발전 구조물의 스커트 홀수 및 해저 경사각 변화에 따른 챔버내 수면 변위와 이를 통한 최대 에너지 추출 효율을 가지는 최적화 모델을 설계하기 위해 2차원 수치 파동 수조기법을 이용한 수치 계산을 수행하였다. 포텐셜 유동 기반의 수치해석 결과에 유체 점성의 영향을 적용하기 위해, 완전 개방된 챔버 조건의 실험을 수행하여 그 차이를 비교하여 점성 감쇠 계수를 추정하여 수치계산에 적용하였다. 또한, 부분 개방된 챔버 실험을 통해 공기압으로 인한 파력 에너지 추출 계수를 산정하여 그 값을 대입하였다. 계산 결과의 비교를 통해 스커트의 흘수가 상대적으로 작을 때는 점성의 영향이 매우 작음을 알 수 있었고, 챔버내 공기압의 영향으로 수면 변위가 최대가 되는 공진주기가 장주기로 이동하며 그 값의 변화가 매우 완만함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 파 에너지 추출로 인해 공진 주기에서의 최대 수면 변위는 완전 개방 챔버의 경우에 비해 30%가량 작은 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

      • Hexapod robot의 시뮬레이션 기반 동역학 및 제어 설계

        In order to test a camera stabilizer system mounted on a unmanned vehicle or a mobile robot in the laboratory environment, a hexapod robot that can generate vehicle motion is being developed. Simulation based design procedure has been employed for the development of the hexapod robot system. A virtual model of the hexapod robot has been created using 3D CAD modeler ProE and multibody dynamics program ADAMS. The required motor capacity has been estimated by inverse dynamics analysis of the virtual model to select motors. Motor modeling of the selected motor has been carried out with actual motor test. Transfer function of the motor has been obtained for the virtaul model. Dynamics and control co-simulations using ADAMS and Matlab/Simulink have been carried out to evaluate the control performances. Gain tuning process has been carried out with this virtual model to show the effectiveness of the simulation based design.

        주요경제수종의 내음성 및 광선요구도와 수분특성에 관한 연구 (2)

        The diurnal and seasonal changes of water potential and stomatal diffusive resistance were investigated with the effects of shade treatment to elucidate the water relations of the one year old seedlings of Betula platyphylla var. japonica, Zelkova serrata, Acer mono, and Prunus sargentii subjected to five levels of artificial shade treatments from full sun to nearly full shading of 2∼6% relative light transmittance. Stomatal diffusive resistance measured in the four deciduous hardwood species studied changed variously by growing season and by species with the five shade treatments in the ranges of 1.7∼25.1s/㎝ in 9 a.m., 2.3∼33.3s/㎝ in 1 p.m., and 1.1∼36.8s/㎝ in 5 p.m.. The measurements of stomatal diffusive resistance increased with increasing the shading, and were higher in September than in June or July in most of the species studied. The stomatal diffusive resistance measured in Zelkova serrata, Acer mono, and Prunus sargentii seemed to be approximately 3-4 times higher in nearly full shading treatment than in full sun. Water potential also changed variously by growing season and by species with five different shade treatments in the ranges of -0.17∼-1.20MPa in 9 a. m., -0.30∼-2.03MPa in 1 p. m., and -0.18--1.34MPa in 5 p.m., respectively. On the reverse of stomatal diffusive resistance, the measurements of water potential were lower in September than in June or July in most of the species studied, and the seasonal differences were especially greater in Zelkova serrata comparing with the other species. The water potential seemed to be higher of approximately 2∼3 times in nearly full shading treatment than in full sun in all of the species studied, but the differences among the shading treatments were less in water potential than in stomatal diffusive resistance. The differences of water potential following the gradient of five shading treatment seemed to be less in Betula platyphylla var. japonica than in the other species. In Acer mono and Prunus sargentii being some shade tolerant species, the water potential increased rapidly through about noontime with raising the shading level from full sun to the intermediate shading level of 22-28% relative light transmittance, but slowly with closing to full shading. In Betula platyphylla var. japonica and Zelkova serrata being shade intolerant species, the water potential increased gradually throughout the shading levels and the increment ranges were greater in Zelkova serrata than in Betula platyphylla var. japonica.

      • 교량배수시스템 개선 연구를 통한 유지보수비용 절감

        자갈이 부설된 궤도의 경우 배수가 잘 안 되는 역구내, 교량, 접속부 그리고 토공절토부 구간에는 지속적으로 분니현상이 발생하여 유지보수 작업량 증가 및 차량 승차감 저하를 가져오고 있다. 배수 및 노반토가 불량한 경우 현재 분니 대책공법으로 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 자갈치기 및 도상자갈 교환 등의 분니대책공법은 약 6~10개월 후 다시 분니가 발생하는 등 영구적인 해결방법이 아니다. 본 연구에서는 유도상 교량상에 발생하는 분니현상을 저감하는 여러 대책방법 중 분니가 발생한 유도상교량에 드레인보드를 시험 설치한 후 강우에 의한 배수상태를 계측하여 그 효과를 검증하고 장기적으로 유지보수비용 절감을 생애주기비용 방법으로 비교 분석하였다. In the case of ballast-laid tracks, in areas where there is no adequate drainage – particularly, station areas, bridges, transitional zones, and earthwork areas – mud pumping occurs on a regular basis. Consequently, more work is required for maintenance as well as ride comfort being lessened. Currently, ballast cleaning and ballast exchange are the measures most resorted to when coping with mud pumping due to poor drainage and sub-grade soils. However, such measures are not permanent solutions because mud pumping reoccurs six to ten months after the measures have been taken. This study has investigated the installation of drain boards on ballasted track bridge as a method for reducing mud pumping on ballasted track bridges. The effectiveness of the boards were validated by measuring the drainage status after rainfall. Furthermore, LCC (life cycle cost) method was employed to conduct a comparison analysis to investigate how the drain boards cut maintenance costs in the long run.

        Characterization of Phenotypic Traits and Evaluation of Glucosinolate Contents in Radish Germplasms (Raphanus sativus L.)

        The edible roots of radish (Raphanus sativus L.) are consumed worldwide. For characterization and evaluation of the agronomic traits and health-promoting chemicals in radish germplasms, new germplasm breeding materials need to be identified. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the phenotypic traits and glucosinolate contents of radish roots from 110 germplasms, by analyzing correlations between 10 quantitative phenotypic traits and the individual and total contents of five glucosinolates. Phenotypic characterization was performed based on descriptors from the UPOV and IBPGR, and glucosinolate contents were analyzed using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry in multiple reaction monitoring mode (MRM). Regarding the phenotypic traits, a significant correlation between leaf length and root weight was observed. Glucoraphasatin was the main glucosinolate, accounting for an average of 71% of the total glucosinolates in the germplasms; moreover, its content was significantly correlated with that of glucoerucin, its precursor. Principal component analysis indicated that the 110 germplasms could be divided into five groups based on their glucosinolate contents. High levels of free-radical scavenging activity (DPPH) were observed in red radishes. These results shed light on the beneficial traits that could be targeted by breeders, and could also promote diet diversification by demonstrating the health benefits of various germplasms.

        고정식 진동 수주형 파력 발전기(OWC) 형상 파라미터의 실험 연구

        The aim of this experimental study was to analyze the effect if the shape parameters and chamber pressure of a land-based oscillating water column (OWC) in regular incident waves. The magnitude of the free surface elevations inside the chamber was measured in a two-dimensional wave tank for various chamber skirt drafts and bottom slope angles. The surface elevations were also measured under both open chamber and partially open chamber conditions. From these measurements, the optimum shape of the OWC device could be predicted for the maximum wave energy conversion efficiency. It was found that the resonance frequency of the OWC system associated with incident waves moved toward the long wave region with increments of the draft if the chamber skirt and bottom slope. The behavior of the free surface elevation inside the chamber was also found to be dependent on the chamber pressure.

      • 철도 신호시스템의 Fail-Safe 네트워크를 위한 DPST(Dual Packet Seamless Transfer) 프로토콜의 구현

        열차제어 지상신호시스템에서 핵심적인 철도보안기능을 수행하는 연동장치는 철도산업의 안전성 확보지침에 따라 높은 안전성과 신뢰성을 갖추어야만 한다. 따라서 연동장치는 높은 안전성과 신뢰성을 달성할 수 있도록 실시간 운영체제 및 그 구성 하드웨어의 랜덤 고장에 대처하기 위한 Fail-Safe형 다중 제어시스템으로 구성된다. 이러한 구성에서는 운영자 인터페이스를 포함한 다양한 장치와의 메시지 교환을 위한 인터페이스 기능을 구현하기 어려운 특성이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 연동장치와 상위 인터페이스 설비간의 통신기능을 구현하기 위한 Dual Ethernet 네트워크 구성 및 DPST(Dual Packet Seamless Transfer) 통신 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템의 구성에서는 특정 네트워크 장비의 랜덤 고장이나 통신오류에 강인한 특성을 보이며 통신채널의 장애를 검출할 수 있는 기능이 추가되어 설비의 유지보수에 효과적인 정보로 활용될 수 있음을 실험적으로 검증한다. 제안된 네트워크 구성 및 운영 프로토콜을 현대제철 전용철도용 전자연동장치에 구현하고 그 성능과 특성을 유럽표준규격 EN50159의 지침을 토대로 타당성을 분석한다. An interlocking equipment of railway signalling systems should have very high functional safety and reliability properties because of its vital railway protection functionality. In order to achieve the required safety and reliability level, an engineer, in general, designs and implements the interlocking equipment to operate under RTOS(Realtime Operating System) environment, and the control hardware architecture redundant to cope with the random failures of system or subsystem. In such an architecture, it's very difficult to implement the interlocking equipment to communicate with various interface systems including the signal operator's terminal. In this paper, we propose a dual ethernet network topology and dual packet seamless transfer protocol algorithm for railway signaling system such as the interlocking equipment. We verify in this paper that the proposed DPST protocol algorithm has the evidence of its robust properties against the random hardware faults and communication errors. The proposed communication structure and algorithm is implemented in the electronic interlocking equipment for the private railway system of Hyundai Steel Company and its performance and properties are validated on the guideline of European Railway Standard EN50159.
