Power transformer protective relay should block the tripping during magnetizing imrush and rapidly operate the tripping during internal faults. But traditional approaches maloperate in the case of magnetizing inrush with low second harmonic component and internal faults with high second harmounic component. To enhance the fault detection sensitivities of conventional technuques, flux-differential current derivative curve by fuzzy theory approaches is used. This paper deals with fuzzy logic based protective relaying for power transformer. The proposed fuzzy based relaying algorithm consisits of flux-differential current derivative curve, harmonics restraint, and precentage differential characteristic curv. The proposed relaying was tested with relaying signals obtained from Salford EMTP simulation package and showed a fast and accurate trip operation.

With ever-increasing demand for electric power the national power system is growing into a large scale complex system and the capacity of certain generating sites are becoming larger and larger in order to utilize the sites efficiently. With this trend the power system dynamic behaviors are also becoming complex and for certain types of contingency complex modes of instability are ensuing. Coutermeasure for instability due to sudden changes like electric short circuit, line switching, generation/load dropping etc. in power systems have been sought in terms of intentional or controlled network changes such as series/shunt compensation and generation/load rejection etc. This paper presents the comparison of stability improving effects by series/shunt compensation, PSS, braking resistor for the first swing step out phenomena of a large capacity generating station.

This paper deals with consideration for transient stability of power system The analysis of transient stability is very important because it detects the possibility of large scale outage by system collapse caused system configuration change and load unbalance. Two units YGN 3&4 will be connected to the YGN 1 & 2 switchyard through two 345KV circuits until 1996 because of the nuclear power plant construction according to power demand increment. Therefore it is necessary to study stability analysis, fault capacity calculation and power flow problem in assumption of two units YGN 3&4 operation interconnected with the power system Finally, considerations of the effect of interconnection and the establishment of preservation methods for reliability of stable opration of the power system are included in this paper.
PET 기판 위에 스퍼터 압력 변화에 따라 제조된 ITO 박막의 특성에 관한 연구

We prepared ITO films on PET substrate by DC magnetron sputtering method using powdery target with different sputter pressure. The deposited rate, XRD(x-ray diffraction), resistivity, transmittance and reflectance were investigated. As the sputtering pressure was higher, the resistivity of ITO films increased. As the working pressure increased, the optical transmittance improved at visible region of light.
