Micro fabrication of biochip such like lab-on-a-chip becomes increasingly important. In this study, we designed and manufactured of new molds which were main factors for forming process in order to mass produce of biochip using forming process. Forming analysis of biochip was performed by Moldflow software. Results of this study are able to design and manufacture the mold which can be easy to eject the workpiece by using the slide mechanism for biochip.

Micro channel is to fabricate desired pattern on the polymer substrate by pressing the patterned mold against the substrate which is heated above the glass transition temperature, and it is a high throughput fabrication method for bio chip, optical microstructure, etc. due to the simultaneous large area patterning. However, the bad pattern fidelity in large area patterning is one of the obstacles to applying the hot embossing technology for mass production. In the present study, stamper of cross channel with width $100{\mu}m$ and height $50{\mu}m$ was manufactured using UV-LiGA process. Micro channel was manufactured using stamper manufactured in this study. Also replicability appliance was evaluated for micro channel and factors affected replicability were investigated using Taguchi method.

Forming of PET bottle was performed by injection-stretch blow molding. Blow molding is process of contacting the dies with air of materials by pressing. In this paper, the aim was to improve reliability of technical stabilization for the PET bottle that is last productive product and process technology which was able to do maximization by a preform performance enhancement of the uniform thickness that took temperature and a characteristic of materials. Preform design and dies manufacture were conducted using injection blow molding analysis results. Therefore thickness error of 5% for PET bottle can be obtained in this paper.
블로우 성형공정변수가 PET 용기에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Injection-stretch blowing system for preform has been developed in this study. The preforms for injection blow molding and injection stretch blow molding are being manufactured by injection molding. However it contains gate mark that affects the bottom crack in the PET bottle. The compression molded preform does not contain gate mark, thus the appearance quality of bottle has been increased and the residual stress near gate(bottom of the bottle) has been reduced. The thickness distributions, haze, and transmittance are well accepted for the preform. Also, flow characteristics of the resin between a core and cavity could be analyzed through computer simulation.

Micro pattern is applied to the light guiding plate(LGP) to enhance the uniformity of the brightness of the LCD. The micro cones are molded in intaglio on the surface of the LGP. The surface roughness of each cone was 40nm and 38nm in negative and positive die for laser ablation. In chemical etching, the surface roughness was 25nm, 24nm in negative and positive. And the surface roughness of negative and positive dies were 4nm and 5nm for LIGA-reflow process.

Tidal land reclamation provided water resources and land for agriculture and contributed stable crop production. However, climate change by global warming disrupts the hydrologic circulatory system of the earth resulting in sea level rise and more frequent flood for reclaimed arable land. Recently, Suyu reclaimed paddy field in Jindo-gun experienced prolonged inundation after heavy rainfall and there is a growing risk of flood damage. Onsite survey and flood analysis using GATE_Pro model of Korea Rural Corporation were conducted to investigate causes of flooding. To perform the analysis, input data such as inflow hydrograph, the lowest elevation of paddy field, neap tide level, management level of Gunnae estuary lake at the time of the flood were collected. Flood analysis confirmed that current drainage facilities are not enough to prevent 20year return period flood. The result of analysis showed flooding more than 24hours. Therefore, flood mitigation alternatives such as sluice gate expansion, installation drainage pumping station, refill paddy land, and catch canal were studied. Replacing drainage culvert of Suyu dike to sluice gate and installing drainage pumping station at the Gunne lake were identified as an effective flood control measures. Furthermore, TM/TC (SCADA) system and expert for gate management are required for the better management of drainage for estuary dam and flood mitigation.
