The composition of the phenolic compounds of the Cerastium and Dianthus plants in Korea were compared with some of the Caryopyllaceae plants by HPLC. A comparison of selected samples of this family indicated that the compounds widely distributed were specific in their contents and their combinations. Species were grouped into alliencies based on common phenolic constituents by a numerical treatment. The results obtained were similar to the generic levels of morphological taxonomy but not agreed to the specific levels. The contents of the phenolic compounds of these plants were characteristic in the peaks of NO, 9, 10, 11, 15 and 24 of the Carastium plants, the peaks of 13, 16 and of the Melanryum plants, and the peaks of 12 and 15 of the Silene plants.

This paper is a study about the multi-cultural society of Korea with the Castles & Miller(2003)'s policy strategy models. Castles & Miller proposed three models which are the differential exclusionary model, assimilationist model, and multicultural or pluralist model as the national management strategy for the multi-cultural society. The differential exclusionary model allows to the immigrants can approach to the labor market, while not allows to the welfare system and citizen's rights. The assimilationist model is the one-sided integration strategy that the immigrant groups expected to be changed like existing society's people. And pluralist model allows the immigrant's native cultural identity without any interventions. The target groups in this study are foreign wives and labors in Korea. In result, Korea government using assimilationist model for foreign wives from beginning to now, and differential exclusionary model and informal pluralist model for foreign labors. The foreign labors are being allowed approach to the labor market and legal minimum wages, but not allowed citizenship. And It's the informal pluralist model that they forms a large group, have independent culture, for example a language of their own, a food, and broadcasting, but Korea government have not taken any measures for them officially.

Six flavonoids were isolated from the heartwood of Maackia fauriei. On the basis of spectroscopic evidences, the structure of these compounds were established as 4',7-dihydroxyflavone, genistein, retusin, afromosin, dehydroferreirin and 3'-methoxydaidzein.

This study intends to shed light on the effects of Aquatic Language rehabilitation therapy on children’ basic speaking ability with CP. Two children with spastic type and two with athetoid type from the age of 6 to 8 are subjects to this study. Halliwick 10 Point Program, a Aquatic rehabilitation program, and respiratory and articulation organ training programs which are revised and complimented are used in this study. The researchers assessed the conditions of the subject three times one week before therapy program, twelve times during each treatment and four times after therapy program with one week interval. In a nutshell, this program resulted in better performance of respiratory, articulation organ and articulation of vowels and maximum phonation time of vowel.

보완 1990년대 이후 새터민으로 명명되는 북한이탈주민의 유입이 증가하고 있다. 이들에 대 해 정부가 경제적?사회적으로 많은 지원을 하고 있지만, 일반 국민의 관점에서 이들은 여전히 적극적인 관심의 대상이 아니고, 이들 또한 지역사회에 적극적으로 동화되거나 참여 하고 있지 않다. 이들은 일정한 교육을 받은 후 지방자치단체로 배정되고 있는데, 이들의 대한 지방자치단체의 행정체제를 검토하였다. 그 결과 새터민에 대한 행정은 거의가 중앙 정부차원에서 이루어지고 있고, 특히 기초자치단체의 역할은 극히 제한적이었다. 그러나 이들을 지역민으로 포용하고 사회의 한 구성원으로 적극 수용하기 위해서는 기초자치단체 수준에서의 적극적인 수용정책이 필요하다. 이것은 지방자치단체 단독으로 할 수 있는 것 이 아니라 지역에 있는 다양한 사회단체 및 자원봉사단체 등과의 거버넌스 체제를 유지할 필요가 있다. 이것이 앞으로 지방자치단체가 해야 할 가장 중요한 과제이다. An inflow of "Saetumin" which means the people who escaped from North Korea has been increasing since the 1990s. Despite the economical and social support from Korean government, most South Korean people still don`t concern about those people much and those seceders from North Korea hardly participate in or assimilate into Local community. They are usually sent to Local government after they take some formal education. This present paper analyzed the Local administration system which takes charge of those Saetumin. The result is that most of administration has been done by the central government and the role of Local government has been much restricted. However, it is important to accept them as Local people as well as members of the society. So it is required that the local government has to set some policies for them more positively. This is an acceptance from the point of view of Local community, and an assimilation or social adaptation from the point of view of Saetumin. It is not to be done by the local government alone. The Local government should make governance system with various social organizations and volunteer groups. Governance system for helping adapt Saetumin to the Local community with various social groups is one of the most important and urgent tasks in the Local administration.
