본 연구는 pressure retarded osmosis (PRO) 분리막의 구조적 특성이 미치는 영향에 대하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해, 유사 분자구조를 가지며 자유부피는 차이가 나는 BPS-XX, BisA-XX가 선택되었다. BPS-XX와 BisA-XX는 축중합 반응을 통해 합성되었으며, 또한 더 세분화된 결과를 위해서 20~60 mol.%로 술폰화되었다. 자유부피의 변화에 따른 분리막의 특성을 입증하기 위해서 몇 가지 특성평가가 진행되었다. 연구 결과에서 동일 분자구조에서 자유부피가 증가하면 막의 투과도가 증가하였고, 선택도는 감소하였다. 본 연구의 투과도-선택도 결과에서, 분자의 기본 구조와 자유부피 조절에 따라서, 고 투과도와 선택도를 가진 막을 제조 가능함을 알 수 있었다. In this study, we found structure-property relationship for pressure retarded osmosis (PRO) membrane, between BPS-XX and BisA-XX having similar structure but different free volume. And this comparison was subdivided by controlling its sulfonation degree. BPS-XX and BisA-XX were prepared via a polycondensation reaction. The degree of sulfonation were 20 to 60 mol.%. And they were fabricated to membrane. Characteristics were analyzed to verify of free volume. And the results showed that increase of free volume normally lead to increase permeability and decrease selectivity in equivalent molecule structure. Finally, in the permeability-selectivity results, we conclude high permeability and selectivity membrane can be prepared by controlling molecular structure and free volume.

For years, Q1.5 (anthropomorphic test device for 1.5 years old infant) and Q3 (anthropomorphic test device for 3 years old infant) dummy protection has been improved considerably by the effort of EuroNCAP. ISOFIX strength of vehicle structure has increased and many child occupant protection tests have made child restraint system (hereafter CRS) optimized for child safety. However, from 2016, EuroNCAP changed the dummy which is used for the child occupant protection from Q1.5/Q3 to Q6/Q10 and these were also adopted in KNCAP from 2017. Therefore, a new method is required to secure the safety for older children In this research, child dummies were tested by using adult safety systems, and the different results from each adult restraint system were compared. Finally, dummies were tested with the CRS harness belt commonly used for infants, which has yielded significant result. In this research, mid-sized sedan and small SUV were used for the test. The researchers of this paper performed sled tests to correlate between the different adult safety belt system and child injury. Following the sled test, an actual vehicle test was conducted to gather the injury data of Q-dummy with the CRS harness belts. This paper will show the advantages of applying a pre-tensioner in the second row for child protection and the necessity of CRS which has its own harness belts to improve safety for older children.

A numerical analysis of turbulent gas-particle two-phase flow is performed in conjunction with the experiments of Fackrell & Robins and Raupach & Legg that considered ground-level source and/or elevated source flat plate flow. K-$\omega$ turbulence model is used in order to analyze fully turbulent flow field and the concentration equation with settling velocity is adopted for the concentration field. The model of Einstein and Chien is applied that couples the velocity field and the concentration field. Turbulent eddy viscosity is re-evaluated in this model. The present numerical results have good agreement between the simulation and the experimental data for the mean flow velocities and particle concentrations. While the previous study shows about 27% error in the vicinity of the source of particle concentration, the .present study allows about 14% error. A new turbulent gas-particle flow model developed by this study is able to cut down error by 13% at a near source.
수치해법을 이용한 2단 열교환기 장착 가정용 보일러 연소실의 연소 및 열전달 특성 해석

본 연구는 가정용 보일러의 연소실 전산유동해석을 통해 연소실 내부의 온도분포 및 유동형태를 해석하였다. 전산해석을 통해 연소실의 열교환기 구조변화에 따른 효율향상 및 배기가스 발생 특성을 예측하였다. 2단 열교환기 장착시 연소실 내부의 온도를 하강시킴으로서 연소가스의 고온영역 체류시간 감소로 Thermal NOx의 생성이 억제되어 NOx의 발생량이 감소할 것으로 예측되었다. 효율면에서는 2단 열교환기 장착 시 1단 열교환기에 비해 약 24%의 효율이 상승하였다. 반면에 2단 열교환기 장착 시 약 10%의 압력손실이 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. In this work, a numerical investigation is performed for the combustion chamber of domestic gas boiler with 1-stage and 2-stage heat exchangers. The fluid flow and heat transfer performance is simulated with a structure change of heat exchanger. The numerical solution shows that the heat transfer of the 2-stage heat exchanger is about 24% higher than that of the 1-stage heat exchanger, while the pressure loss of the 2-stage heat exchanger increases. The temperature of combustion chamber with 2-stage heat exchanger is lower than that of 1-stage. This effect reduces thermal NOx with decrease of high temperature staying time of the combustion gas.

In this work, a numerical investigation is performed for the combustion chamber of domestic gas boiler with 1-stage and 2-stage heat exchanger. The fluid flow and heat transfer performance is provided with a structure change of heat exchanger. The numerical solution shows that, compared to the 1-stage heat exchanger, the increase in the heat transfer in the 2-stage heat exchanger is higher than that of the pressure loss, which proves the excellent performance of this 2-stage heat exchanger. The temperature of combustion chamber with 2-stage heat exchanger is lower than that of 1-stage. This effect reduces thermal NOx with decrease of high temperature staying time of the combustion gas.
