방사선안전관리 실무: (II) 배기중 및 배수중 배출관리기준의 적용

Radioactive materials are in use and have many applications from the generation of electricity to the purposes of research, industry and medicine such as diagnosis and therapy. In the course of their use some of radioactive substances may be discharged into the environment from facilities using the unsealed radioactive materials, which are main artificial sources occurring the public exposure. Discharges are in the form of gases, particles or liquids. This paper provides procedures to estimate the level of the public exposure based on the conservative assumptions and simple calculations in the facility using unsealed liquid sources. They consist of two processes; (1) to calculate maximum concentration of gaseous effluents discharged through the exhaust pipe and average concentration of liquid effluents discharged through the drain of the storage tank, (2) to compare each of them to numerical guidances for the discharges of radioactive gaseous and liquid effluents mentioned in the related notification. For this purpose followings are assumed properly; daily usage, form and dispersion rate of radionuclides, daily amount of radioactive liquid waste and exhaust and drainage equipment. The procedures are readily applicable to evaluate environmental effects by planned effluent discharges from facilities using the unsealed radioactive materials. In addition they may be utilized to obtain practical requirements for radiation safety control necessary for the reductions of the public exposure. 방사성동위원소를 포함하는 방사성물질은 전력생산에서부터 연구, 산업, 진단 및 치료 등의 목적으로 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 비밀봉 방사성물질을 이용하는 시설에서 이들 시설로부터 기체, 입자 또는 액체 형태의 방사성물질이 다소간 환경으로 배출되는 것은 피할 수 없으며, 이는 일반인의 방사선피폭을 야기하는 주요한 인공 방사선원이다. 본 논문은 보수적 가정과 간단한 계산에 의거하여 액상의 비밀봉선원을 사용하는 시설에서 배기설비를 통해 배출되는 공기중 방사성물질의 최대농도와 방사성폐액을 저장하는 저류조 배수구에서 배출되는 폐액중 방사성물질의 평균농도를 산출한 후, 관련 고시에서 정하는 각각의 배출관리기준값과 비교함으로써 일반인의 피폭 정도를 평가하는 절차를 제공한다. 이를 위해 방사성핵종의 1일 사용량, 취급형태, 비산율, 방사성폐액 발생량, 배기설비, 배수설비 등을 적절히 가정하였다. 제시된 절차는 비밀봉 방사성물질을 취급하는 시설에서 환경으로의 방사성물질의 계획적 배출에 따른 주변환경 영향평가에 손쉽게 적용할 수 있으므로 일반인의 피폭량 감축에 필요한 시설에서의 방사선안전관리 실무요건 도출에 활용할 수 있다.
방사선안전관리 실무: (I) 연간섭취한도와 유도공기중농도의 적용

비밀봉 방사성물질을 취급하는 시설에서 이들 물질에 의한 작업환경의 다소간의 오염은 피할 수 없다. 오염의 우려가 있는 작업환경에서 오염관리의 일차적인 목적은 방사성물질의 잠재적 체내섭취로 인한 영향이다. 본 논문은 보수적 가정과 간단한 계산에 의거하여 공기오염에 따른 방사성물질의 공기중 농도와 흡입에 의한 연간 섭취량을 산출한 후, 관련 고시에서 정하는 유도공기중농도와 연간섭취한도와 비교함으로써 종사자의 내부피폭 정도를 평가하는 절차를 제공한다. 제시된 절차는 공기중 방사성물질 측정 및 내부피폭 감시의 필요성, 적합한 방호용구의 착용, 배기설비 설계를 위한 정보 획득 등 공기오염과 종사자의 내부피폭 감시를 위한 실무적 요건을 판단할 목적으로 활용될 수 있다. Some of radioactive contamination is unavoidable in the facilities using the unsealed radioactive material. The primary purpose of radioactive contamination control in the workplace with contamination concern is the effects from the potential intake of radioactive material into the body. This paper provides procedures to estimate the level of internal exposure for the worker based on the conservative assumptions and simple calculations. They consist of two processes; to calculate air concentration of radioactive material and annual intake by inhalation with contaminated air and to compare each of them to Derived Air Concentration and Annual Limit on Intake mentioned in the related notification. The procedures are applicable to make a decision on practical requirements for monitoring air contamination and internal exposure of worker as follows; needs for measurement of air contamination and internal exposure and acquisition of information on the design of the ventilation system.
글루타치온 생산 재조합 대장균의 고농도 배양에 관한 연구

High cell density cultivation of glutathione-producing recombinant E. coli TG1/pDG7α was carried out in a fed-batch mode controlling specific growth rate. The cell growth and the production of GSH-I were not affected by the initial glucose concentration less than 20 g/L. The specific growth rate sharply increased for the yeast extract concentration less than 1 g/L. The cell growth rate and the GSH-I production rate were lowered significantly at the initial concentration of acetic acid above 5 g/L. The cell growth and the GSH-I production were inhibited by acetic acid. The final cell concentration reached its maximum at 147(OD_(600)) with μ=0.3 hr^(-1). The final concentration of GSH-I reached 134 unit/L with μ=0.1 hr^(-1). When the specific growth rate was controlled at 0.4 hr^(-1), the final cell concentration decreased drastically due to the accumulation of acetic acid in the medium, which resulted in the decrease of the concentration of GSH-I.

Unused land"s efficient practical use is method that can increase railroad property. Therefore, in this study, define shortly about composition of reciprocal space, and presents unused land"s practical use plan in station.

Liquid Phase LPG injection (LPLi) system has several advantages in more precise fuel metering and higher engine performance than those of the conventional type. On the other hands. leakage problem of LPLi system at the injector tip is a main obstacle for meeting more stringent future emission regulations because this phenomena might cause excessive amount of THC emission during cold and hot restart phase. The main focus of this paper is the development of leakage fuel recirculation system with activated carbon canister to eliminate the leaked fuel at intake system. Leaked fuel level was quantified using fast response THC analyzer. Finally, to confirm the adsorption efficiency of recirculation system in real LPLi vehicle, THC emission level was measured through FTP-75 mode. Vehicle test results shows that 70% of THC emission was reduced and stable engine operation was possible through suitable duty control.

In this study the Oscillator which is applied to Walsh Function is designed using the characteristics of Walsh Function. Also it is proved from the combination of the outputs of Walsh Function Generator that the trigger pulse which is necessary in resonant filter can be obtained. In the experiment it is resulted that the distortion of bandpass filter is not almost generated in contrast with general sequency resonant filter.

We consider a test procedure for umbrella alternatives in a randomized block design using among-block ranks with observations after removing estimator of block effects and investigate asymptotic properties and asymptotic relative efficiences of proposed test statistic. We perform a sample Monte Carlo study to compare the empirical powers of the test statistics for underlying distributions. The proposed test statistic in this paper has a good power for heavy-tailed distrubutions.
