Population Inversion of Confined Symmetric Nonaddictive Hard-Sphere Mixtures

The integral equation recently introduced by Jagannathan et al. [J. Phys. Chem. B 109, 6764 (2005)] has been employed for studying the structure and the population inversion of the symmetric nonadditive hard-sphere mixtures confined in a hard slit pore. The calculated results show that the mole concentration and the nonadditivity parameters, as well as the width of the slit pore, play important roles in the population inversion. The population inversion curve related to the confinement effect is shifted towards lower fluid concentrations with decreasing width of slit pores and is terminated at the transition concentration. The results illustrate that the population inversion effect is prompted due to the extra repulsion between unlike species by the particle density development of lower concentration species near the slit wall, which is not observed in the highly nonadditivity system.

ATSC 3.0 is a next-generation terrestrial broadcasting standard that provides various functions and improved performance compared to the existing ATSC 1.0 High Definition standard. Based on the ATSC 3.0 broadcast system with IP-centric transport and coherence, it can provide personalized and personalized interactive services to TV viewers. However, the broadcasting system still has a structural limitation in that the service is deployed separately from broadcasters who are allocated a specific frequency and is expected to have different spectrum allocation for each market. To overcome this structural limitation and provide improved services compared with the current ATSC 3.0, preliminary studies were conducted to apply the core network concept of a communication network (particularly 5G) to ATSC 3.0 broadcasting. Finally, in february of this year, the ATSC TG3/S43 group for the development of the ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Core Network (BCN) standard was launched. This paper describes the background and current status of BCN standardization by ATSC TG3/S43, and future standardization prospects.

Broadcast is evolving into media service aimed at user customization, personalization, and participation with high-quality broadcasting contents (4K/8K/AR/VR). A broadcast infrastructure is needed to engage with the competition for providing large-scaled media traffic process, platform performance for adaptive transcoding to diverse receivers, and intelligent service. Cloud service and virtualization in broadcast are becoming more valuable as the broadcasting environment changes and new high-level broadcasting services emerge. This document describes the examples of cloud and virtualization in the broadcast industry, and prospects the network virtualization of broadcast transmission infrastructure, especially terrestrial and cable networks.
논에 발생되는 주요 다년생잡초 발생이 수도생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향

이앙답에 발생되는 주요 다년생잡초인 너도방동산이(Cyperus serotinus), 가래(Potamogeton distinctus)올방개(Eleocharis kuroguwai)와 수도품종인 Tongil Milyang 2002가 혼생할 때 이들 잡초가 수도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였던 결과 1. 잡초발생이 많아짐에 따라 수도의 엽신 엽면적 엽초 및 수중이 감소하였는데 너도방동산이가 수도피해에 미치는 영향이 가장컸었다. 2. 잡초발생에 따른 수도 질소함량은 엽신이 가장 높고 그 다음이 이삭, 엽초의 순이있다. 질소전량에 대해 잡초가 흡수한 비율은 1m2 당 발생량이 625본정도로 많았을 경우 너도방동산이에서는 약 65%, 가래는 약 20%, 올방개는 약 45~65%에 해당하였다. 3. 잡초발생량이 많아짐에 따라 출수기는 125본부터 잡초발생량이 증가함에 따라 l~4일 촉진되었다. 간장에 있어서는 공시잡초 모두 1m2 당 625본 정도로 많이 발생되었을때에 5~10cm 짧아졌다. 4. 잡초발생에 따른 수도수량감소정도는 너도방동산이, 가래, 올방개의 순이였는데 1m2 당 625본 정도로 잡초발생량이 많을 경우 수도수량감소율은 너도방동산이구에서는 약 50%, 가래구에서는 약 57%, 올방개구에서는 약 60%에 해당하였다. 이들 수량감소의 주된 요인은 수수감소와 일수립수감소였는데 그중에서도 수수가 가장 심한 감수요인이었다. 그러나 천립중, 등숙비율은 잡초발생량이 많아짐에 따라 상대적으로 증가되는 경향을 보였다. The affect of perennial weeds to rice yield and rice growing was evaluated. Rice heading date was shortened 1-4days and rice culm length was shortened 5-10cm in heavy weed growing condition. The ratio of yield reduction were about 50% in Cyperus serotinus, about 57 in Potamogeton distinctus in both rice varieties and about 60% of Eleocharis kuroguwal in heavy perennial growing condition.
