        EFL학습자의 신념이 태도, 동기, 자신감 및 영어의사소통의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Journal of Linguistic Studies 19(3), 53-76. The purpose of this study is to explore the question concerning the role of EFL learners' cultural beliefs in learning and using English. In order to do this, the study tested a hypothesized model integrating cultural beliefs, integrativeness, instrumentality, attitudes toward learning, motivation, self-confidence, and willingness to communicate using regression analysis. The participants in the study were primary and middle school students. A number of hypotheses about the relationship among the variables are established and none of them are rejected in this analysis. Most importantly, cultural beliefs are found to exert influence on integrative and instrumental orientation, attitudes toward learning situation, motivation, self-confidence, and willingness to communicate in English. As a result, cultural beliefs need to be further explored for the better understanding of the mechanism of Korean learners' learning and use of English. (Jeju National University)

        JTBC 사옥의 커뮤니케이션 활성화 요소에 대한 계획적 접근 방식 분석

        (Background and Purpose) The recent work characteristics of the office focus on creating maximum profits efficiently for the company by enhancing creativity and improving productivity by providing comfort and vitality to members based on the information society. In this regard, the JTBC office, which is basically an office building but is evaluated as presenting flexible communication activation spaces such as open studios and open workspaces to increase communication and exchange between other existing general work areas, aims to derive planning elements for activating communication through the analysis of spatial characteristics. (Method) First of all, this study commenced with a theoretical review of the changes in modern office space, the concept and role of non-business areas, and the concept and role of organizational communication. In the case analysis, a diagram was prepared through the JTBC building drawing and image analysis process. This involved identifying movement and visual spatial phases were identified using a spatial phase diagram, an axis space diagram, and a visual phase diagram. A plane analysis and a cross-sectional analysis that went through this process were conducted, and the results of the three-dimensional and integrated analysis were presented by synthesizing them. (Results) The case analysis revealed that the JTBC building offers a multitude of spaces conducive to communication. These spaces facilitate the activation of organisational communication through the integrated planning of flat and cross-sectional structures, as well as the spatial and functional adjustment of integrated movements of members. The presence of void spaces with varying vertical path construction and movement experiences, and differing sizes and locations on each floor, encourages horizontal and vertical movement, thereby facilitating greater opportunities for wide communication through the increase of travel distance. Furthermore, the nature of the broadcasting station gives rise to a variety of spatial characteristics that facilitate informal communication. These include the vertical distribution of specific workspaces, the formation of accidental encounters based on the movement of space for the connection of distributed workspaces, and visual exchanges. (Conclusions) Through the results of deriving the spatial structure characteristics of JTBC buildings that facilitate communication within the organization. This will be achieved by presenting four planned approaches to spatial structure that are required to activate everyday and informal communication in modern office architecture. Firstly, it is essential to adopt a comprehensive approach to the planning of a spatial structure that facilitates communication. Secondly, it is the importance to construct an integrated path that facilitates communication through the selection and movement of various nomadic paths. Thirdly, it is the significance of establishing a vertical connection between two and three floors at the sub-unit level is highlighted, as this can facilitate communication by forming an intimacy on a human scale. Fourthly, it is necessary to form a mesh spatial structure that incorporates a multitude of circulation routes and a gradual spatial spectrum.

        소통을 활성화시키는 오피스의 공간구조 요소 도출을 위한 분석 틀 정립에 관한 연구

        (Background and Purpose) This study highlighted the importance of creativity and collaboration for modern companies and the shift toward sustainable workplaces that are based on meeting and belonging in terms of corporate members. It followed a fundamental research process to derive architectural spatial structure characteristics that enable informal and daily communication in office architecture and presents relevant theoretical analysis and evidence to establish a comprehensive analysis framework of communication-enabling spatial structure elements. (Method) This study first conducted a theoretical review to examine the concept of communication in the office and the trends followed by related studies and then analyzed the contents of the studies, especially those related to informal communication, to organize the planning elements and set the direction of the study. Next, it derived spatial structure elements that activate communication through theoretical analysis and established an analysis framework for the basic spatial structure elements by synthesizing the subdivided spatial structure elements and communicative characteristics. (Results) The spatial structure elements that activate informal communication were categorized into three main elements: horizontal spatial structure elements for communication within the office base floor, vertical spatial structure elements through inter-floor connections, and integrated spatial structure elements that activate communication through integrated and nomadic movements that occur through a combination of the horizontal and vertical levels. First, the horizontal spatial structure was subdivided into three items: the overlap of paths and areas based on movement, connectivity of space, and the phase of space that creates the degree of movement and visual exchange. Next, the vertical spatial structure was subdivided into vertical movement connection and visual connection types, and finally, the integrated spatial structure was subdivided into spatial and functional coordination. This study then established and presented a framework for a comprehensive analysis by revealing and summarizing the analysis content and methods for the subdivided analysis items and the communicative characteristics of each item. (Conclusions) This study provides a framework for an integrated approach to planning elements that enable communication. Most existing studies are related to the layout of the workspace and are limited to the base floor of the office or related to vertical connectivity, mainly focusing on the form and use of voids and their environmental characteristics. Therefore, this study differs from existing studies by deriving a framework for analyzing the spatial structure elements that activate communication from a more comprehensive and integrated perspective, rather than focusing on individual research objects and planning elements. This integrated approach is significant not only in terms of overall communication activation involving the entire building but also in terms of applicability, as it can be selectively applied according to building conditions.

        주거용 건축물의 면적 산정 기준 개선을 위한 기초 연구

        (연구배경 및 목적) 용도를 불문하고 주거용 건축물의 면적은 거주자에게 있어 분양과정에서부터 소유, 사용, 매매, 재건축까지 영향을 지속적으로 미치는 매우 중요한 부분으로 일률적이고 타당하게 배분되어야 한다. 그러나 현재까지 주거용 건축물의 면적 산정기준이 명확하지 못해 여러 가지 혼선이 존재하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 연구는 주거용 건축물에 대한 일관되고 명확한 면적 산정 기준의 필요성을 인식시키고, 일괄적으로 적용가능한 적정한 면적 산정 기준을 정립하고자 하며, 이를위해 면적산정 기준에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 분석과 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다. (연구방법) 본 연구에서는 먼저, 선행연구와 법제도적 현황을 통해 면적 산정 기준에 있어 문제점과 그 원인을 확인하고, 각각의 원인별로 문제점과 개선 방향을 제시하였다. 법제도적 측면에서 주거용 건축물의 종류와 각각의 개념을 살펴보고, 면적산정 기준과 그 변천 과정을 살펴보았다. 또한 바닥면적에 산입되지 않는 발코니 확장 합법화로 인한 실제 주거 전용면적 등의 증가로 발생되는 공간사용 및 과세의 형평성문제와 면적 기준에 따른 면적 용어의 차이에 대한 문제점을 파악하고 개선방향을 제시하였다. (결과) 주거용 건축물 면적 산정기준은 법 적용에 상관없이 일원화된 면적 산정기준을 도입해야 한다는 것이다. 현재 법 테두리 내에서 혼선이 없도록 단독주택의 경우도 공동주택의 경우처럼 안목치수 개념의 전용면적과 벽체 공용을 포함하는 주거공용면적으로 구분하여 적용하고, 발코니의 경우 모든 주택에서 새롭게 기타전용면적으로 분류하여 전용면적에 포함하고, 확장이 불가한 발코니의 설치기준을 설정하여 발코니의 고유기능을 유지하도록 개선하도록 하여 용도 간 공간사용 및 면적의 형평성을 유지하도록 제시하였다. 또한 법적기준 일원화화 발코니 면적의 유효면적화를 통해 면적 용어의 체계도 새롭게 제시하였다. (결론) 현재 주거용 건축물은 다양한용도로 공급되고 있으며 용도에 따라 적용법이 다르나, 면적 산정 기준을 일원화하고 면적 용어를 정리함으로써 공간사용의 형평성 및 면적 용어에 대한 오해를 해소할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 주거용 면적 산정 기준 개선 방안 마련을 위한 연구의 필요성과 개선 방향을 도출하고자 하는 기초연구로서, 발코니를 포함하여 법제도적 테두리 내에 있는 면적 산정 기준과 관련 용어를살펴보고 개선방향을 제시한 것에 의의가 있다. 그러나 발코니 면적의 유효면적화와 그에 따른 설치기준에 대한 세심한 연구가추가적으로 필요하며, 따라서 이에 대한 후속 연구를 통해 전체적으로 관련법 정비 방안이 제안되고, 발코니 계획 방향 등에 대한 기존의 선행연구 결과와 함께 잘 운용된다면 좀 더 다양하고 좋은 주거 환경을 만들어 나가는데 일조할 수 있을 것이다.

        유한요소해석을 위한 3차원 구조물의 기하학적 모델링

        이 논문은 유한요소해석의 전처리를 위한 3차원 구조물의 가하학적 모델링 방법을 제안하였다. 여기서 제안한 모델링 체계에 의하면 구조물의 모델은 조절점, 곡선, 곡면 및 입체의 계층적 구성에 따라서 단계적으로 형성된다. 혼성함수와 경계표현법을 기본으로하는 여러가지 곡면 및 입체의 모델링 방법을 유한요소망 발생에 적합하도록 체계화하였으며, 모델합성 및 연산방법을 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 새로운 유한요소해석 전처리 프로그램을 개발하였다. This paper introduces a geometric modelling system adopted in a newly developed preprocessor for finite element analysis of three dimensional structures. The formulation is characterized by hierachical construction of structural model which consists of control points, curves, surfaces and solids. Various surface and solid modelling schemes based on blending functions and boundary representation are systematized for finite element mesh generation. The modelling system is integrated with model synthesis and operations which facilitate modelling of complex structures.

        인상채득방법과 방향에 따른 인상체의 정밀성과 체적 안정성에 관한 연구

        Accurate reproduction of intraoral tissue is essential in the fabrication of fixed prosthesis. This selection of impression material and method is very important. In this study, vinyl polysiloxane type impression material $Panasil^{(R)}$ was used. Three impression methods ; one-step technique, individual tray technique, and individual tooth tray technique using the vinyl polysiloxane type bite registration material $Futar^{(R)}$ Occlusion, were used to take horizontal and vertical impression. Improved stone models were fabricated. The amount of occlusal surface discrepaneies, interabutment distance discrepancies, amount of marginal defect were evaluated with the $X-PLAN360d^{(R)}$ and photoscanning. The results were as follows. 1. There was no significant difference in occlusal surface according to the directions and techniques of impression taking. 2. There was no significant difference in interabutment distance discrepancies according to the directions and techniques of impression taking 3. There was no significant difference in marginal discrepancies according to the direction of impression taking but there was significant difference between one-step technique and individual tray technique, individual tooth tray technique (P<0.05). Taken together, these results suggest that individual tray technique and individual tooth tray technique are more accurate for impression taking than one-step technique.

        3차원 고체 유한요소해석의 새로운 후처리 방법

        3차원적인 고체의 유한요소해석 결과를 컴퓨터 그래픽스를 이용하여 시각화하는 후처리 방법들을 고안하고, 유한요소해석 소프트웨어의 개발에 응용하여 그 실용성과 효율성을 검토하였다. 이 연구에서는 고체 구조물의 후처리에서 가장 어려운 문제인 입체 내부의 데이타를 표현하는 방법을 중점적으로 다루었으며, 이를 위하여 공간 내부의 절단면을 표시하는 방법, 입체를 절단하여 분리하는 방법, 등가곡면으로 데이타 값의 범위를 표시하는 방법을 제안하였다. New methods of visualizing the data from finite element analyses of 3-dimensional solids were developed in this study. Their efficiency and practicality were examined through their application and implementation into a finite element analysis software. The major effort of the study was to provide a way of representing data inside of volume, which is the most difficult problem in the postprocessing of 3-dimensional solids. Section representation, volume slice and separation, and isosurface representation were proposed for this purpose.
