Electroless Ni-P coating is widely used for chemical, electronic, and semiconductor equipment parts because of its corrosion resistance. The incorporation of chemically-inert PTFE particles into the Ni-P films improves properties such as, non-stick, anti-adhesive and better corrosion resistance. However, soft PTFE particles degrade the hardness, wear and abrasion resistance. In this study, effects of PTFE and W addition to the Ni-P-coatings were compared by the XRD, SEM, sheet resistance, contact angle, and microhardness measurements. The change in sheet resistance was negligible, but contact angle was doubled by the addition of PTFE and W. The microhardness was lower for Ni-P-PTFE, but higher for Ni-P-PTFE-W coatings, compared to that of Ni-P coatings.

BGA test sockets failed earlier than the expected life-time due to abnormal signal delay, shown especially at the low temperature ($-50^{\circ}C$). Analysis of failed sockets was conducted by EDX, AES, and XRD. A SnO layer contaminated with C was found to form on the surface of socket pins. The formation of SnO layer was attributed to the repeated Sn transfer from BGA balls to pin surface and instant oxidation of fresh Sn. As a result, contact resistance increased, inducing signal delay. Abnormal signal delay at the low temperature was attributed to the increasing resistivity of Sn oxide with decreasing temperature, as manifested by the resistance measurement of $SnO_2$.

For the effective analysis of two dimensional plane problems with geometrical discontinuities, singular finite element has been proposed. The element matrix equation was formulated on the basis of hybrid variational principle and Trefftz function sets derived consistently from the complex theory of plane elasticity by introducing a conformal mapping function. In order to suggest the accuracy characteristics of the proposed singular finite element, typical plane problems were analyzed and these results were compared with exact solutions. The singular finite element gives the comparatively exact values of stress concentration factors or stress intensity factors and can be effectively used for the analysis of mechanical structures containing various geometrical discontinuities.
해양구조물 적용을 위한 경량골재콘크리트의 기초물성에 관한 연구

The various properties of concrete have been required, as civil engineering structures are getting larger and complicated. Therefore, the high performance of concrete, such as high strength, high fluidity, and low hydration heat, has been investigated largely. In this study, the properties of lightweight concrete-reducing self-weight of structure member have been studied in order to check the applicability of lightweight aggregate concrete to structural material. The experiments on compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, unit weight, and modulus of elasticity have been conducted with varying PLC, LWC Ⅰ, LWC Ⅱ, LWC Ⅱ-SF5, LWC Ⅱ-SF15 to check the basic properties. The compressive strength of 21㎫ was obtained easily by using lightweight aggregate concrete and the addition of silica fume to increase the compressive strength slightly. To use lightweight aggregate concrete for civil engineering structures, systematic and rigorous studies are necessary.
OCHP를 적용한 매스콘크리트 수화열 분산효과에 관한 실험적 연구

In process of the mass concrete structure, the heat of hydration may cause serious thermal cracking. In order to eliminate hydration heat of mass concrete, this paper results of hydration heat control of mass concrete using the Oscillating Capillary tube Heat Pipe(OCHP). There were the several molds which shows a difference as compared with each other. One was not equipped with OCHP. Other were laid with OCHP, and the other were laid in 100cm, and exposed out 50cm. All of them were cooled with natural air convection. The OCHP was composed of copper pipe(outer diameter : 4mm, inner diameter : 2.8mm) and heat type was non-looped type. The working fluid was R-22 and its charging ratio was 40% by volume. The core of the concrete temperature was approximately 53 °C without OCHP. But the concrete temperature with OCHP was reduced its difference in temperature with the outdoor temperature to 12~15°C. Finally we saw the index figure of the thermal crack of the structures were varied from 0.6 to 1.6.

이 글은 스미스의 윤리학을 개괄하고, 그의 윤리학이 갖고 있는 통합적 측면을 조명한다. 이를 위해 먼저 이른바 애덤 스미스 문제를 다룰 것이다. 애덤 스미스 문제는 스미스가 윤리학에서는 이타적 측면을 강조한 반면 경제학에서는 이기적 측면을 강조해 상호모순 되는 주장을 했다는 것이다. 필자는 이것은 아담 스미스의 핵심개념인 공감 개념에 대한 오해라고 보고, 공감 개념을 분석할 것이다. 그 다음 스미스가 공감 개념에 기초해 통합의 윤리를 지향한다는 점을 밝힐 것이다. 여기에는 전통적인 윤리학의 주요이론인 이기주의, 공리주의, 의무론, 덕윤리가 망라된다. 이를 통해 스미스는 복잡한 현실을 어느 하나의 원리로 환원시키는 것이 아니라, 있는 그대로 분석하는 유연하고 매우 종합적인 사상가라는 점을 보일 것이다. This article outlines Smith's ethics and highlights the integral aspects of his ethics. Firstly we will deal with the so-called Adam Smith problem. The Adam Smith problem is that Smith made contradictory arguments by emphasizing the altruistic aspect in ethics, while emphasizing the selfish aspect in economics. I will analyze the concept of sympathy, seeing it as a misunderstanding of Adam Smith's sympathy. Secondly I will show that Smith pursues an ethic of integration based on the concept of sympathy. This includes egoism, utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics, which are the main theories of traditional ethics. Thus, it will be shown that Smith is a flexible, highly comprehensive and realistic thinker who does not reduce complex reality to a single principle, but analyzes complex reality as it is.

이글은 동물윤리와 환경윤리를 비교분석한다. 동물윤리 이론들 중에서 가장 강력한 형태로 생각되는 피터 싱어의 동물해방론과 그것에 기초한 동물운동, 그리고 환경윤리이론들 중에서 가장 유력한 형태로 생각되는 캘리코트의 생태중심주의, 그리고 그것에 기초한 환경운동의 공통점과 차이점을 분석한다. 구체적으로는 채식, 동물실험, 동물이용 오락, 윤리적 옷 입기 등과 관련되어 양 진영의 특징을 살펴본다. 그 다음 동물윤리가 갖고 있는 실천적, 이론적 문제점은 무엇인지 살펴 본다. 구체적으로 동물윤리는 생태학적 사실을 외면한다는 점, 친소관계에 대한 우리의 직관을 설명하지 못한다는 점, 정당화 문제에 취약하다는 점, 정치철학적 비전을 제시하지 못한다는 점을 보일 것이다. 그런 문제점을 극복하기 위해서는 동물윤리와 환경윤리가 거부했던 전통적인 인간중심주의를 일정 부분 복원해야 한다고 주장한다. 그럼으로써 동물윤리, 환경윤리, 인간윤리를 포괄하는 하나의 윤리체계를 모색할 필요가 있다고 제안한다. This article examines Peter Singer`s animal liberation theory which is thought to be the most powerful among animal ethics theories, and analyze the similarities and differences between environmental movement and animal liberation movement based on Peter Singer`s. These movements have similarities and the differences in vegetarianism, animal experiment, animals entertainment, ethical dressing. We look at practical and theoretical problems of animal ethics. Specifically, animal ethics has the following problems. Firstly, it turned a blind eye to the ecological fact. Secondly, it does not provide the justification of its thesis. Thirdly, it does not explain our intuitions about the special relationship. Fourthly, it does not provide the political-philosophical vision. We propose that we need restore traditional anthropocentrism which was rejected by the animal ethics and environmental ethics in order to overcome such problems. By doing so, we need to find the comprehensive ethical theory system that encompasses human ethics, animal ethics, and environmental ethics.

In process of reinforced concrete(RC) box structure, the heat of hydration may cause serious thermal cracking problems. In order to eliminate hydration heat of mass concrete, this - paper reports results of hydration heat control in mass concrete using the OCHP(Oscillating Capillary tube Heat Pipe). Recently OCHP is drawn special attention from these points of low cost as well as short construction schedule for the manufacturing of heat exchanger, flexibility, simplification and high performance. There were three RC box molds(1.2×l.2×l.2m) which shows a difference as compared with each other. One was not equipped with OCHP. While others were equipped with OCHP and these were cooled with air natural convection and spraying water respectively. The OCHP was composed of copper pipe with 12 turns(O.D : 4mm, I.D : 2.8mm). The working fluid was R-22 and its charging ratio was 30(Vo1. %). In order to analyze the distribution of temperature and index figure of thermal crack in sequential placement of mass concrete, we used HYCON of computer program. As a result of the experiment, the peak temperature decreased about 15.6 ~ 23.4 ℃ than the general specimen and the probability of thermal crack generated in mass concrete decreased up to 0%.
