2001년 4월부터 2002년 9월까지 소양호의 어류군집 동태를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사된 어류는 총 11과 38종이었다. 한국 고유종은 P. tenuicorpus, C. splendidus, S. gracilis majimae, S. japonicus coreanus, H. mylodon, G. brevibarba, M. yaluensis, M. longidorsalis, C. koreensis, C. rotundieaudata, S. microdorsalis, P. koreanus, L. andersoni, C. herzi, O. patycephala 등 15종(40.54%)이었다. 우점종은 Z. platypus(39.60%), H. olidus(39.47%), S. gracilis majimae(12.24%), S. japonics coreanus(2.11%), P. fulvidraco(1.48%), L. macrochirus(1.40%) 등이었다. 채집된 어종들의 생체량을 보면 Z. platypus가 19.48㎏, H. olidus로 8.75㎏, C.cuvieri 7.42㎏, L. maeroehirus 7.39㎏, H. labeo 6.85㎏의 순으로 나타났다. 소양호에서 확인된 도입종은 A. japonica, H. eigenmanni, H. olidus, P. altivelis, C. urotaenius, R. giurinus, T. brevispinis, C. carpio(Israeli type), c. euvieri, Onchorhynchus mykiss, L. macrochirus, M. salmoides, I. puntatus 등 13종이었다. 이 중 C. carpio(Israeli type), C. cuvieri, Onchorhynchus mykiss, L macrochirus, M. salmoides, I. puntatus는 국외종이며, A. japonica, H. eigenmanni, H. olidus, P. altivelis, C. urotaenius, R. giurinus, T. brevispinis 등은 국내 다른 하천ㅇ로부터 유입된 종이다. The dynamics of the fish community in Lake Soyang, Korea, was investigated from April 2001 to September 2002. During the surveyed period 38 species belonging 11 families were collected. There were 15 Korean endemic species 39.47%, including Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Squalidus gracilis majimae, S. japonicus coreanus, Hemibarbus mylodon, Gobiobotia brevibarba, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Microphysogobio longidorsalis, Iksookimia koreensis, Iksookimia rotundicaudata, Silurus microdorsalis, Pseudobagrus koreanus, Liobagrus andersoni, Coreoperca herzi, and Odontobutis platycephala. Dominant species were Zacco platypus (39.60%), Hypomesus olidus (31.70%), Squalidus gracilis majimae (12.24%), Squalidus japonicus coreanus (2.11%), Pseudobagrus fulvidraco (1.48%) and Lepomis macrochirus (1.40%). The biomass of collected fishes were Zacco platypus (19.48 ㎏), Hypomes olidus (8.75 ㎏), Carassilus cuvieri (7.42 ㎏), Lepomis macrochirus (7.39 ㎏) and Hemibarbus labeo (6.85 ㎏). Of the 13 introduced fishes in Lake Soyang Cyprinus carpio (israeli type), Carassius cuvieri, Onchorhynchus mykiss, Lepomis macrochirus, Micropterus salmoides and Ictalurus puntatus were originated from foreign countries but Anguilla japonica, Hemiculter eigenmanni, Hypomesus olidus, Plecoglossus altivelis, Chaenogobius urotaenius, Rhinogobius giurinus. Thridentiger brevispinis were introduced from other native river systems.

한국 해군사관학교 조정부의 창단과 명예로운 도전사(1970~77)

이 연구의 목적은 해사 조정부의 창단과 추진과정 그리고, 대내·외 활동을 조사·분석하여 그 의미를 밝히는 데 있다. 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 해사 조정부는 1970년 8월 3일, 17대 교장 김규섭 제독이 주도적으로 추진하여 창단되었다. 둘째, 창단목적은 해사와 부합된 스포츠였고, 발전 가능성을 판단, 국내대회 석권은 물론, 일본타도 등 전 세계에 해사를 알리기 위해서이다. 셋째, 후임 18대 교장 신상대 제독은 물심양면으로 지원하여, 국내 최강팀으로 육성시 켰고, 경남조정협회 초대회장을 역임하는 등 한국 조정 발전에 이바지하였다. 넷째, 1970년 51회 체전을 시작으로 53회 (1972) 체전 전 종목 석권, 1972년도 대한체육회 우수팀 선정, 1973년 5회 한·일 교환전 대학부 한국대표로, 대회 신기록을 달성하는 등 해사 조정부의 명예를 드높였다. 다섯째, 26기 정제무 등 해사 조정부의 모든 선수뿐만 아니라, 2대 지도관 이원철 대위 등 조력자들의 헌신과 노력으로 해사 조정부의 명예로운 도전이 이루어졌다. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the establishment and promotion of the Korea Naval Academy(KNA) Rowing Team, and internal and external activities to reveal its meaning. The following conclusions were obtained: First, the KNA's rowing team was founded on August 3, 1970 by Admiral Kim Kyu-seop, the 17th principal. Second, the purpose of its foundation was to determine the possibility of development and to promote KNA around the world, including the overthrow of Japan as well as the championship of domestic competitions. Third, his successor, Admiral Shin Sang-dae, was promoted to the strongest team in Korea, and served as the first president of the GyeongnamRowingAssociation, contributed to the development of Korean rowing. Fourth, the KNA's rowing team ranked first in all events at the 53rd National Sports Festival, and was selected as the best team of the KOC in 1972. The KNA's rowing team also honored the school by participating in the fifth Korea-Japan exchange match in 1973 and achieving a new competition record. Fifth, the honorable challenge of the KNA's rowing team was made with the dedication and efforts of all the athletes of the KNA's rowing team, including the 26th Jeong Jeong-moo, as well as the helpers of the second leader, Captain Lee Won-chul.

Lesser 자신에게도 사랑을 찾을 수 있다는 확신은 없지만, "Yet better look for something than just not have it."이기에, 오히려 "The looking is the having...." 이라고 믿기에 좌절하지 않는 Lesser의 사랑의 추구는 가히 비극적인 몸부림이다. 결국 그의 소설은 완결되지 못했지만, Lesser 소설의 "open end" 는 Siegel의 말대로 Lesser의 지속적인 추구를 의미하며, 이것은 또한 지속적인 추구의 필요를 의미한다. Lesser가 추구하는 사랑은 마지막 Levenspiel이 호소하는 자비와 더불어 "to keep civilization from destroying itself" 하려는 작가 Malamud 가 닌지 소망의 표현이다. 결국 물질과 명예의 추구로 인해서 관용과 사랑이 메마른, 겨울바람 몰아치는 폐허를 전면에 그리면서, 이곳에 절실히 요구되는 사랑을 여러 가지 방편을 사용해서 교묘하게 제시한 이 이중구조의 구사에서 Malamud의 놀라운 솜씨가 발휘되고 있다. The Tenants 에 나타나는 Malamud는 "mad world"를 비판하는 사회비평가일 뿐 아니라, 그의 다른 소설들에서와 같이 정신적각성의 중요성을 제시하는 모럴리스트이기도 하다.
