This study aims to research neighborhood living facilities necessary for the living area through on-site surveys on shopping centers targeting villages with dense population. The contents and objectives of the study are: First, to estimate the type and size of appropriate neighborhood living facilities, and second, to derive and report mutual characteristics by comparing the types and number of first-floor stores formed on the streets and traditional markets within the neighborhood living area. Third, by analyzing characteristics such as the type and location of empty stores, it empirically presents the composition of traditional markets within the neighborhood living area and the distribution characteristics of street shopping streets for the size of the population, and provides basic data for future neighborhood living facilities plans. The characteristics of traditional markets and street shopping malls in the residential area, first, food occupies the most, followed by restaurants, household goods, health and other specialty stores. Second, food is the mainstream in the traditional market, and while restaurants, beauty salons, clothing stores, and specialty stores occupy a high proportion of street shopping malls, discount marts are distributed as a whole, so they are more competitive than small stores.

The aim of this study was to investigate the pattern of distribution of mating type (MAT) genes of Tuber indicum in ectomycorhizosphere soils from natural T. indicum-producing areas and cultivated truffle orchards and ascocarp samples from different regions. Quantitative real-time PCR and multiplex PCR were used to weight the copy numbers of MAT1-1-1 and MAT1-2-1 in natural truffle soils and cultivated orchard soils. The effect of limestone on the pattern of truffle MAT genes and the correlation between soil properties and the proportion of MAT genes were also assessed. These results indicated that an uneven and nonrandom distribution of MAT genes was common in truffle-producing areas, cultivated truffle orchards, and ascocarps gleba. The competition between the two mating type genes and the expansion of unbalanced distribution was found to be closely related to truffle fructification. Limestone treatments failed to alter the proportion of the two mating type genes in the soil. The content of available phosphorus in soil was significantly correlated with the value of MAT1-1-1/MAT1-2-1 in cultivated and natural ectomycorhizosphere soils. The application of real-time quantitative PCR can provide reference for monitoring the dynamic changes of mating type genes in soil. This study investigates the distributional pattern of T. indicum MAT genes in the ectomycorhizosphere soil and ascocarp gleba from different regions, which may provide a foundation for the cultivation of T. indicum.

Pure phase K4Zr5O12 is synthesized via solid state method in the present work. Various K/Zr ratios and temperatures are applied, and the synthesis process is investigated in detail by means of X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Its catalytic activity for soot oxidation is studied by temperature programmed oxidation with different types of soot/catalyst contacts. It is revealed that K4Zr5O12 is very active in the presence of 2–10% O2 for both tight and loose contacts (Tp(tight) = 335 oC, Tp(ethanol) = 355 oC and Tp(shaking) = 370 oC). Thermal stability study shows that K4Zr5O12 is highly stable up to at least 900 oC.

High integration, low loss and high-reliability are the main development trends of flywheel battery. Thus this study presents the first prototype of a novel high-integration four degrees of freedom (4-DOF) bearingless motor with the advantages of weak coupling and low power consumption. The proposed bearingless motor can realize energy conversion and produce 4-DOF radial forces compared with the conventional bearingless motor for improving the integration of system. A biased flux for producing radial levitation forces is provided by the permanent magnets, which reduce the power consumption of the system. Moreover, a decoupling between the torque and the suspension systems is realized through a structural design, thereby improving the controllability. Structure and winding configurations are introduced and the operation principle of the 4-DOF bearingless motor is discussed. Magnetic circuits analysis and parameter design method are present and a three-dimensional finite element model is established. Electromagnetic characteristics that focus on the high integration, low loss and high reliability are discussed and validated comprehensively. Finally, a favorable controllability of radial suspension forces are verified using finite-element analysis and some experimental results.

The design, synthesis, and structural characterization of two new palladium complexes based on Schiff base ligands is reported; [Pd(L1)2] (1) and [Pd(L2)2] (2), [HL1 = 2-((E)-(2,6-diethylphenylimino)methyl)-4,6- dibromophenol, L2 = (E)-N-benzylidene-2,6-diethylbenzenamine], which are obtained by functionalizing Schiff base ligands with or without electron-withdrawing groups. Both compounds are mononuclear structures. Comparisons are made to the compounds 1 and 2 to analyze and understand the effect of electron-withdrawing groups. Antibacterial activity studies indicate the electron-withdrawing groups on Schiff base ligands enhance antibacterial activity. Catalytic activity, however, is reduced due to the enhanced steric-hindrance of the electron-withdrawing groups. Electronic absorption and emission properties of HL1, L2, 1 and 2 are also reported.
Mechanical Behavior of Glass Panels Supported by Clamping Joints in Cable Net Facades

In glass panels supported by clamping joints in a cable net facade, the clamping joint restrains movement at the four corners of the glass panel. As a result, the mechanical behavior of the glass panels supported by clamping joints is very different than the behavior of glass panels supported by four hinged corners. Moreover, the deformation in cable net facade is large and nonuniform; thus, the glass panels in cable net facades bear the effects of warping distortion. In this study, a model test and theoretical analysis was conducted to study the mechanical behavior of glass panels supported by clamping joints in a cable net facade. To this end, a cable net facade was designed, and a proper experimental model was constructed. A static mechanical model test was conducted, where the glass stress at different positions in the cable net was measured. A numerical model of the cable net facade was developed, and the results of the experiment and the numerical analysis were compared. Furthermore,the numerical results provided a detailed description of the mechanical behavior of the glass panels in a cable net facade.
