        Joint Estimation of Near-Field Source Parameters and Array Response

        Near-field source localization algorithms are very sensitive to sensor gain/phase response errors, and so it is important to calibrate the errors. We took into consideration the uniform linear array and are proposing a blind calibration algorithm that can estimate the directions-of-arrival and range parameters of incident signals and sensor gain/phase responses jointly, without the need for any reference source. They are estimated separately by using an iterative approach, but without the need for good initial guesses. The ambiguities in the estimations of 2-D electric angles and sensor gain/phase responses are also analyzed in this paper. We show that the ambiguities can be remedied by assuming that two sensor phase responses of the array have been previously calibrated. The behavior of the proposed method is illustrated through simulation experiments. The simulation results show that the convergent rate is fast and that the convergent precision is high.

        (Ba, Ca)(Ti, Zr)O3-BiFeO3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics

        Effects of BiFeO3 (BFO) content on the microstructure and electrical properties of Ba0.85Ca0.15Ti0.90Zr0.10O3(BCTZ) ceramics prepared by normal sintering in air were investigated. A stable solid solution is formed between BCTZ and BFO. The grain size gradually becomes smaller, and the ceramics become denser with increasing the BFO content. The Curie temperature, dielectric constant, and dielectric loss of BCTZ ceramics decrease simultaneously with the introduction of BFO. Moreover, the remanent polarization reaches a maximum at x ¼ 0.2 mol%, and the coercive field continuously increases with increasing the BFO content due to the introduction of BFO with a higher coercive field. Improved piezoelectric properties (d33 w 405 pC/N and kp w 0.44) are demonstrated for the BCTZ ceramic with x ¼ 0.2 mol%.

        Metabolic reprogramming and epigenetic modifications in cancer: from the impacts and mechanisms to the treatment potential

        Metabolic reprogramming and epigenetic modifications are hallmarks of cancer cells. In cancer cells, metabolic pathway activity varies during tumorigenesis and cancer progression, indicating regulated metabolic plasticity. Metabolic changes are often closely related to epigenetic changes, such as alterations in the expression or activity of epigenetically modified enzymes, which may exert a direct or an indirect influence on cellular metabolism. Therefore, exploring the mechanisms underlying epigenetic modifications regulating the reprogramming of tumor cell metabolism is important for further understanding tumor pathogenesis. Here, we mainly focus on the latest studies on epigenetic modifications related to cancer cell metabolism regulations, including changes in glucose, lipid and amino acid metabolism in the cancer context, and then emphasize the mechanisms related to tumor cell epigenetic modifications. Specifically, we discuss the role played by DNA methylation, chromatin remodeling, noncoding RNAs and histone lactylation in tumor growth and progression. Finally, we summarize the prospects of potential cancer therapeutic strategies based on metabolic reprogramming and epigenetic changes in tumor cells.

        Preparation and Hydrogen Barrier Property of FexAly/Al/Al2O3 Composite Coating on X80 Steel Surface

        Hydrogen-induced embrittlement is a significant safety concern for steel pipelines used in the transmission of hydrogenblendednatural gas. To mitigate this issue, hydrogen barrier coatings can be applied to the surface of steel substrates toreduce hydrogen permeation. In this study, rare earth oxides were optimized via first-principles calculations to identify themost effective doping agents. Subsequently, a FexAly/Al/Al2O3 composite coating doped with La2O3and Ce2O3was successfullyapplied to the surface of X80 steel using hot-dip aluminum plating combined with anodic oxidation. The coatingwas characterized using various techniques, including SEM, EDS, XRD, XPS, and hydrogen permeation tests. The resultsdemonstrated that co-doping La2O3and Ce2O3resulted in a lower adsorption energy of Al2O3to hydrogen molecules, andimproved the surface quality of the aluminizing layer and the composite coating. Electrochemical hydrogen permeationtests showed that the FexAly/Al/Al2O3 composite coating significantly improved the hydrogen barrier property of X80 steel. The anodizing current density was found to have a significant effect on the coating's morphology, which in turn affected thehydrogen barrier property of the coating. The composite coating obtained at an anodizing current density of 2 A/dm2 wasuniform and dense, without noticeable defects, and exhibited the best hydrogen barrier property.
