Objective: Generally, it is known that there is a correlation between excessive calcaneus eversion and a patient with low back pain and it also affects pelvic alignment. However, there are not enough studies that show calcaneal eversion having an effect on the alignment of the trunk. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: A 3-dimensional motion analysis system was used to assess the lower limbs, pelvic alignment, and trunk alignment with increased unilateral and bilateral calcaneal eversion in twenty-one subjects. All subjects were asked to maintain a static posture for seven seconds on a wedge three times per posture for measurement and analysis purposes. The wedge used in the process was a lateral wedge with a 10-degree tilt to the lateral direction. To unify all of the subjects' foot position, the front and inner side of the wedge were marked. The height of the tilted wedge's inner side and flat wedge were balanced equally in order to be able to maintain the lateral part of the foot to the same height when producing an increased calcaneal eversion. Results: Comparing the changes in trunk and pelvic alignment in accordance to calcaneal eversion for each posture, there was a significant different in the X and Y-axis for each posture, but not in the Z-axis (p<0.05). Thus, it can be confirmed that calcaneal eversion in the sagittal plane and frontal plane may have and effect on the pelvis and the trunk. Conclusions: Postures with increased bilateral and unilateral calcaneal eversion has an effect on pelvic alignment, but does not cause any changes in trunk alignment.

An Efficient SoC Test Technique by Reusing On/Off-Chip Bus Bridge

<P>Today's system-on-a-chip (SoC) is designed with reusable intellectual property cores to meet short time-to-market requirements. However, the increasing cost of testing becomes a big burden in manufacturing a highly integrated SoC. In this paper, an efficiently testable design technique is introduced for an SoC with an on/off-chip bus bridge for the on-chip advanced high-performance bus and off-chip peripheral-component-interconnect bus. The bridge is exploited by maximally reusing the bridge function to achieve efficient functional and structural testing. The testing time can be significantly reduced by increasing the number of test channels and shortening the test-control protocols. Experimental results show that area overhead and testing times are considerably reduced in both functional- and structural-test modes. The proposed technique can be extended to the other types of on/off-chip bus bridges.</P>

To cope with exploding Internet traffic, telecommunication companies are considering smart network technology. This paper evaluated the impact of Internet traffic for the smart network when ISP utilized nodes smartly so that they can do smart caching, ISP controls both routing and traffic matrix as a Telco-CDN so that they can decide more efficient traffic routing policy and ISPs cooperates each other so that they efficiently control IX traffic between them as a Telco-CDNi. Finally, the economic valve of smart network from the traffic reduction of these points was estimated.

Interconnect Delay Fault Test on Boards and SoCs with Multiple Clock Domains

This paper introduces an interconnect delay fault test (IDFT) controller on boards and system-on-chips (SoCs) with IEEE 1149.1 and IEEE 1500 wrappers. By capturing the transition signals launched during one system clock, interconnect delay faults operated by different system clocks can be simultaneously tested with our technique. The proposed IDFT technique does not require any modification on boundary scan cells. Instead, a small number of logic gates needs to be plugged around the test access port controller. The IDFT controller is compatible with the IEEE 1149.1 and IEEE 1500 standards. The superiority of our approach is verified by implementation of the controller with benchmark SoCs with IEEE 1500 wrapped cores.

본 논문에서는 교통신호제어기 표준규격(NPA-TSC-2010 R14)과 호환성을 유지하면서, 교통신호제어시스템과 상용 LTE 이동통신망을 적용 가능한 검증필암호모듈 기반의 SSL VPN을 개발하여, 정보보안의 성능과 교통신호제어기의 통신성능을 만족할 수 있다는 결과를 제시한다. 또한 ‘교통신호제어기 표준규격’의 기기 변경이 최소화될 수 있도록 SSL VPN 개발에 필요한 기술을 구현하여 실증결과를 제시함으로써, 이를 바탕으로 교통신호제어 시스템의 보안 표준규격으로 제정될 수 있도록 기술 및 절차적 결과를 제시하였다.

산업제어시스템(Industrial Control System, ICS)은 전력, 가스, 수도, 교통 등과 같은 국가기반시설 및 산업분야에서 원거리에 산재된 시스템을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 시스템이다. 초창기 제어시스템은 특정 용도에 맞게 독립적으로 운영하였다. 하지만 최근 시스템의 효율적인 유지관리 및 경쟁력 강화 등의 이유로 인터넷과 같은 다양한 통신 인터페이스를 활용한 시스템 운영의 연구가 진행되면서 외부적인 보안 위협에 대한 보안관리가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문은 산업제어시스템에 적용 가능한 구간 암호화 기술을 이더넷 통신 환경에서 분석하였다. 구간 암호화 기술 적용 전후의 통신 속도를 측정 및 비교하여, 실제 암호화 적용 시의 통신 성능을 예측 하고자 한다.
