This study is intended to investigate the fundamental properties of cement mortar with solid content and leaving time of recycled water that stabilizing agent is added. According to the results, fluidity and air content does not make a big difference with variation of solid content. As the leaving time of recycled water is long, fluidity and air content increases. Setting time is shortened due to fine particle with an increase of solid content and leaving time. Compressive strength and flexural strength increase with an increase of solid content, and they increase at the leaving time of 1 day, but decrease after 2days. Length change by drying shrinkage is smaller than that of plain concrete, and is almost same with variation of solid content. And it is reduced at the leaving time of 1 day, but increases after that. Therefore, it analyzed that the effect of stabilizing agent is best under condition of adding ratio of 0.15%, solid content of 3% and leaving time of 1day, and it also works upto solid content of 5% and leaving time of 2days.

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is characterized by elevated fasting glucagon and impaired suppression of postprandial glucagon secretion, which may participate in diabetic complications. Therefore, we investigated the associations of plasma glucagon with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), albuminuria and diabetic kidney disease (DKD) in T2DM patients.Methods: Fasting glucagon and postchallenge glucagon (assessed by area under the glucagon curve [AUCgla]) levels were determined during oral glucose tolerance tests. Patients with an eGFR <60 mL/min/1.73 m2 and/or a urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) ≥30 mg/g who presented with diabetic retinopathy were identified as having DKD.Results: Of the 2,436 recruited patients, fasting glucagon was correlated with eGFR and UACR (r=–0.112 and r=0.157, respectively; P<0.001), and AUCgla was also correlated with eGFR and UACR (r=–0.267 and r=0.234, respectively; P<0.001). Moreover, 31.7% (n=771) presented with DKD; the prevalence of DKD was 27.3%, 27.6%, 32.5%, and 39.2% in the first (Q1), second (Q2), third (Q3), and fourth quartile (Q4) of fasting glucagon, respectively; and the corresponding prevalence for AUCgla was 25.9%, 22.7%, 33.7%, and 44.4%, respectively. Furthermore, after adjusting for other clinical covariates, the adjusted odds ratios (ORs; 95% confidence intervals) for DKD in Q2, Q3, and Q4 versus Q1 of fasting glucagon were 0.946 (0.697 to 1.284), 1.209 (0.895 to 1.634), and 1.521 (1.129 to 2.049), respectively; the corresponding ORs of AUCgla were 0.825 (0.611 to 1.114), 1.323 (0.989 to 1.769), and 2.066 (1.546 to 2.760), respectively. Additionally, when we restricted our analysis in patients with glycosylated hemoglobin <7.0% (n=471), we found fasting glucagon and AUCgla were still independently associated with DKD.Conclusion: Both increased fasting and postchallenge glucagon levels were independently associated with DKD in T2DM patients.

The self-healing of resin mineral composites by adding microcapsules has been widely used. However, it is difficult to determine the proportion of microcapsule to obtain the optimal self-healing performance because of the contradictory characteristics between the selfhealing efficiency and elastic modulus of composites. To address this problem, this study proposes a novel method to optimize the proportion of microcapsule under the constraints of engineering design requirements. The results show that (1) the damage evolution of self-healing resin mineral composites with microcapsule can be divided into four processes: damage accumulation, bond interface crack appearing, matrix crack appearing and fracture surface formation. (2) The position of aggregate has little effect on the mechanical properties of the overall composites structure, but it plays a decisive role in the distribution and size of cracks. (3) The relationship between the self-healing efficiency and the proportion of microcapsule is a nonlinear positive correlation, but the elastic modulus is a nonlinear negative correlation with the proportion of microcapsule. (4) The optimization results show that the optimal microcapsule proportion of a resin mineral composite machine tool is 1.68 %; at this time the mechanical properties of the material are reduced by 2.9 % and the self-healing efficiency is 25.38 %. The results provide a reference for the damage performance research and engineering design of microcapsule self-healing composites.

Nutrient solution for various Chenopodiaceae leaf vegetables was developed. Various strength (1/2, 1, and 3/2) of nutrient solution recommended by National Horticultural Research Institute, Korea was applied to the crops in deep flow technique system for 27 days. Growth of ‘Atras’ spinach, ‘Detroit Dark’ beet, and ‘Swiss’ red chard was highest in the treatment of 3/2 strength. The proper constitution of nutrient solution for the Chenopodiaceae leaf vegetables was 11 N, 2.5 P, 8 K, 2 Ca, and 2 me/L Mg. The crops were grown two times in March and September to examine the appropriateness of the nutrient solution. Relative growth rate and the amount of ascorbic acid treated with the nutrient solution were increased by 1.1-1.4 and 1.1-1.2 times, respectively, and the amount of chlorophyll was increased by 1.0-1.2 times.
Research of Fuzzy Logic-Controlled SMES for Power System Transient Voltage Stability

Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) is a power electronic based device with a superconducting coil that has the potential to bring essential functional characteristics to the utility transmission and distribution systems. This paper presents a new approach and corresponding experiments for fuzzy logic-controlled SMES to improve the transient voltage stability of electric power system. The SMES coil built for power utility applications has the following unique design characteristics: 0.2H, 20㎾/100kJ, 1㎄ dc current. Based on the result of SMES prototype experience, a mathematic model of power system and SMES are adopted. A fuzzy controller is assigned. Bus voltage is taken as the input signal to fuzzy controller. The fuzzy rule-bases are designed and explained. The validity of the suggested control strategies are confirmed by simulation and experimental tests. From the results they are demonstrated that transient voltage stabilizing effect by mean of SMES was very significant.

Compound fault characteristics in single-channel vibration signals of rolling bearings are difficult to separate. On the basis of improved harmonic wavelet packet decomposition and fast independent component analysis (FICA), this study proposes a new method to address this problem. First, a series of mutually independent frequency bands are obtained after harmonic wavelet packet decomposition of the initial vibration signal to satisfy the requirement that the number of observed signals must be larger than the number of source signals in the FICA algorithm. Second, the optimal frequency bands are selected based on the maximum kurtosis index and used as the input matrix of the FICA algorithm to separate the compound fault characteristics further. Lastly, accurate separation and extraction of the compound fault characteristics of the rolling bearings are realized. Results show that the proposed method can effectively separate the compound fault characteristics in the single-channel vibration signals of the bearings.
Three-Port Laparoscopic Exploration is not Sufficient for Patients with T4 Gastric Cancer

Gastric cancer continues to be a leading cause of cancer death. The majority of patients with gastric adenocarcinoma in China present with advanced disease. Ruling out unresectable cancers from an unnecessary "open" exploration is very important. The aim of this study was to assess the value of five-port anatomical laparoscopic exploration in T4 gastric cancer in comparison with three-port laparoscopic exploration and laparotomy exploration. We conducted a retrospective study on 126 patients with T4 stage scheduled for D2 curative gastrectomy based on computed tomography (CT) staging at Department of Gastric Cancer and Soft Tissue Sarcoma, Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, from Apr. 2011 to Apr. 2013. Laparotomy exploration (Group I), three-port laparoscopic exploration (Group II) or five-port anatomical laparoscopic exploration (Group III) were performed prior to radical gastrectomy. Accuracy rate for feasibility of D2 curative gastrectomy in laparotomy exploration and five-port anatomical laparoscopic exploration groups was higher than that in the three-port laparoscopic exploration group. Five-port anatomical laparoscopic exploration group had the highest accuracy resection rate (Group I vs Group II vs Group III,92.6% vs78.6% vs 97.7%; p<0.05) and shorter length of hospitalization (Group I vs Group II vs Group III, $9.58{\pm}4.17$ vs $6.13{\pm}2.85$ vs $5.00{\pm}1.81$; p<0.001). Three-port laparoscopic exploration has low accuracy rate for assessing feasibility of D2 curative gastrectomy and five-port anatomical laparoscopic exploration should be performed on patients with T4 gastric cancer.
Experimental Study and Numerical Analysis on the Progressive Collapse Resistance of SCMS

With the Spokewise Cable-Membrane Structure (SCMS) of Foshan Century Lotus Sports Center (FCLSC) as the engineering background, this study analyzes the infl uence of the structure’s local cable damage on its holistic resistant behavior and investigates the resistance of SCMS against progressive collapse by means of scale model tests and ANSYS fi nite element analysis. Results indicate that SCMS exhibits good resistance against progressive collapse. After the upper radial cables or the lower radial cables break, their borne load is passed to the connected cables. Thus the collapse can be restricted within a limited area through the deformation and stress relaxation of the adjacent cables. In the design process, the cable system is divided into a fi nite number of partitions, and double cables could be used at the junctions of diff erent partitions to better control the damaged area. The inverted Y-type or the polystyle pier column should be chosen to enhance the resilience after collision or explosion.
