어머니의 애정적, 거부적 양육태도 및 유아의 정서지능과 사회적 능력 간의 구조모형 분석 = A structural model analysis between mothers' affectionate - rejective child- rearing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence and social competence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 사회적 능력에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 이론적 근거를 바탕으로 어머니의 애정적, 거부적 양육태도, 유아 정서지능, 사회적 능력 간의 구조적 관계를 밝히고, 어머니의 애정적, 거부적 양육태도가 유아의 사회적 능력에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 정서지능의 매개효과는 어떠한지 살펴보았다. 전라북도 유아교육기관에 재원중인 만 5세 유아와 그들의 어머니 257쌍을 대상으로 어머니 애정적, 거부적 양육태도, 유아 정서지능, 사회적 능력을 조사하여 구조모형 분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 어머니의 애정적, 거부적 양육태도, 정서지능은 사회적 능력에 직적접인 영향을 미치며 또 애정적 양육태도는 정서지능을 매개로 하여 간접적인 영향도 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 유아의 사회적 능력 발달을 위한 부모-자녀 관계에 대한 시사점을 제시하고 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study clarified the structural relationship between mothers' affectionate-rejective child-rearing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence and social competence on the basis of the theoretical grounds regarding the variables affecting children's social competence, and researched into how the mediation effect of emotional intelligence operated while the mothers' affectionate-rejective child-rearing attitudes affected the children's social competence. A structural model analysis has been done by examining the mothers' affectionate-rejective child-rearing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence and social competence, with the subjects being 257 pairs of children under 5 attending early childhood educational institutions in Cheollabuk province and their mothers. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Mothers' affectionate-rejective child-rearing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence have direct influence on the social competence. 2) Affectionate child-rearing attitudes have also indirect influence, while emotional intelligence serving as the mediation factor. Based on these results, this study presented suggestions about the parents-children relationship for improving the children's social competence, and suggested some proposals for following studies.
