모의 심리적 괴롭힘이 불안에 미치는 영향: 무기력감과 자기 부적절감의 매개효과 = Maternal Psychological Control and Child Anxiety: The Mediating Roles of Helplessness and Sense of Inadequacy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the mediating roles of child`s feelings of helplessness and sense of inadequacy in the relationship between maternal psychological control and child anxiety. Structural equation modeling of data from 830 children ages eight to eleven indicated that the link between maternal psychological control and child anxiety was fully mediated by child`s feelings of helplessness and sense of inadequacy. Specifically, maternal psychological control was positively related to child`s feelings of helplessness, which, in turn, influenced sense of inadequacy and eventually anxiety. Limitations of the current study and suggestions for future investigations regarding possible causes of childhood anxiety from the standpoint of maternal psychological control and possible mediating or moderating variables followed.
