고등학생의 임파워먼트 수준이 친구관계와 학교적응에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Empowerment on Friendship and School Adjustment in High School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of empowerment on friendship and school adjustment in high school students. The subjects of this study were 780 students of the high schools in Jeollabuk-do in accordance to convenience sampling. The statistics program used to achieve the purpose was SPSS PC+ 12.0. The statistic methods applied were the one-way ANOVA, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and the simple regression.
The following conclusions were drawn from the data analysis: First, the empowerment level is no different between female students and male students.
The empowerment level is higher among the general high school students than the vocational high school students. The higher the parents' academic background, the higher the empowerment level is. Second, the friendship level is higher among female students than male students. The friendship level is higher among the vocational high school students than the general high school students. The friendship level is higher among students who had parents with a lower academic background than those who had higher academic background.
Third, the school adjustment level is no different between female students and male students. The school adjustment level is higher among the vocational high school students than the general high school students. There is no relationship between the academic background of the parents and the school adjustment level. Fourth, the friendship level is no different by the empowerment level. The higher the empowerment level, the higher school adjustment level is. Fifth, there is no correlation between the empowerment level and the friendship level. There is a passive correlation between the empowerment level and the school adjustment level. Finally, the empowerment affects 23.1% of the friend adjustment, 9.0% of the life adjustment, and 0.5% of instruction adjustment.
