예비유아교사의 행복감, 낙관주의 및 학과만족도에 대한 연구 = Impact of Happiness and Optimism on Satisfaction with the Department among Preservice Early Childhood Teachers

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the two selected variables of preservice early childhood teachers, happiness and optimism, to their satisfaction level with the department in an effort to provide useful information on how to facilitate the improvement of the happiness and optimism of preservice early childhood teachers and help them lead a more positive life. The two selected variables were usually considered to be positive. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the marks that the preservice early childhood teachers gave to their own happiness and satisfaction level with the department were above average in general, but many of these teachers also gave pessimistic responses in terms of optimism . Second, there was a positive correlation between the happiness and optimism of the preservice early childhood teachers and between their happiness and satisfaction with the department. When a multilinear regression analysis was made to confirm which variable would affect satisfaction with the department, happiness and a low grade variable of optimism (PmB, PvG, PsB) was found to exert a statistically significant impact by 12%. Therefore the happiness and optimism of preservice early childhood teachers should be boosted to raise their satisfaction with the department.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 성공적인 학과적응에 중요한 요소인 학과만족도와 정서적 요인인 행복감 및 좋은 일과 나쁜 일에 대해 개인이 귀인하는 방식인 낙관주의 경향과의 관계를 파악함으로써 예비유아교사들의 학과만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 시사점을 제공하고자 하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 400명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 연구를 진행하였고, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 행복감과 학과만족도는 대체로 보통 이상의 점수가 나타났지만, 낙관주의는 비관적인 성향의 응답이 많았다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 행복감과 낙관주의, 행복감과 학과만족도에는 정적인 상관관계가 나타났고, 중다선형 회귀분석을 통해 학과만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인을 확인한 결과 행복감과 낙관주의 하위변인(PmB, PvG, PsB)이 진입되어 12%의 설명력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 예비유아교사의 행복감과 낙관주의 경향을 길러줌으로써 학과만족도를 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 보이며, 행복감과 낙관주의 경향을 높일 수 있는 구체적 방안의 모색이 필요함을 논의하였다.
