Existence of solution for impulsive fractional dynamic equations with delay on time scales

        Zhi-Juan Gao,Xu-Yang Fu,Qiao-Luan Li 한국전산응용수학회 2015 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.33 No.3

This paper is mainly concerned with the existence of solution for nonlinear impulsive fractional dynamic equations on a special time scale. We introduce the new concept and propositions of fractional $q$-integral, $q$-derivative, and $\alpha$-Lipschitz in the paper. By using a new fixed point theorem, we obtain some new existence results of solutions via some generalized singular Gronwall inequalities on time scales. Further, an interesting example is presented to illustrate the theory.

Realgar bioleaching solution suppress ras excessive activation by increasing ROS in Caenorhabditis elegans

        Zhi, De Juan,Feng, Na,Liu, Dong Ling,Hou, Rong Li,Wang, Mei Zu,Ding, Xiao Xia,Li, Hong Yu 대한약학회 2014 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.37 No.3

Although realgar bioleaching solution (RBS) has been proved to be a potential candidate for cancer therapy, the mechanisms of RBS anticancer are still far from being completely understood. Dosed with RBS in C. elegans, the multivulva phenotype resulting from oncogenic ras gain-of-function was inhibited in a dose dependent manner. It could be abrogated by concurrent treatment C. elegans with RBS and the radical scavenger DMSO. However, RBS could not induce DAF-16 nuclear translocation in TJ356 or the increase of HSP 16.2 expression in CL2070, which both could be aroused visible GFP fluorescent variation to represent for oxidative stress generation. Treatment C. elegans with superoxide anion generator paraquat, similar results were also obtained. Our results indicated that RBS suppress excessive activated ras by increasing reactive oxygen species (ROS) in C. elegans. Secondly, ROS induced by RBS significantly accumulated on a higher level inC. elegans with amutational ras than that with wild ras, thus leading to oxidative stress on ras gain-of-function background rather than on normal ras context. Our results firstly demonstrated that using C. elegans as amodel organism for evaluating prooxidant drug candidates for cancer therapy.

Remarkable impact of amino acids on ginsenoside transformation from fresh ginseng to red ginseng

        Zhi Liu,Xin Wen,Chong-Zhi Wang,Wei Li,Wei-Hua Huang,Juan Xia,Chang-Chun Ruan,Chun-Su Yuan 고려인삼학회 2020 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.44 No.3

Background: Amino acids are one of the major constituents in Panax ginseng, including neutral aminoacid, acidic amino acid, and basic amino acid. However, whether these amino acids play a role in ginsenosideconversion during the steaming process has not yet been elucidated. Methods: In the present study, to elucidate the role of amino acids in ginsenoside transformation fromfresh ginseng to red ginseng, an amino acids impregnation pretreatment was applied during thesteaming process at 120 C. Acidic glutamic acid and basic arginine were used for the acid impregnationtreatment during the root steaming. The ginsenosides contents, pH, browning intensity, and free aminoacids contents in untreated and amino acidetreated P. ginseng samples were determined. Results: After 2 h of steaming, the concentration of less polar ginsenosides in glutamic acidetreatedP. ginseng was significantly higher than that in untreated P. ginseng during the steaming process. However, the less polar ginsenosides in arginine-treated P. ginseng increased slightly. Meanwhile, free aminoacids contents in fresh P. ginseng, glutamic acid-treated P. ginseng, and arginine-treated P. ginsengsignificantly decreased during steaming from 0 to 2h. The pH also decreased in P. ginseng samples at hightemperatures. The pH decrease in red ginseng was closely related to the decrease in basic amino acidslevels during the steaming process. Conclusion: Amino acids can remarkably affect the acidity of P. ginseng sample by altering the pH value. Theywere the main influential factors for the ginsenoside transformation. These results are useful in elucidatingwhy andhowsteaming induces the structural change of ginsenoside in P. ginseng and also provides an effectiveand green approach to regulate the ginsenoside conversion using amino acids during the steaming process.

Energy efficiency characteristic analysis of tri‑coil PT symmetric MC‑WPT systems

        Zhi-Juan Liao,Qi-Wei Zhu,Wen Ren,Chen-Yang Xia,Xu Liu 전력전자학회 2023 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.23 No.9

The parity-time (PT) symmetric magnetic coupling wireless power transfer (MC-WPT) system has received a great deal of attention since it was proposed. Its transmission efficiency has been greatly improved when compared with previous research. The operational amplifier (OA) is a typical construction method for PT symmetric MC-WPT systems. On this basis, to achieve a higher transmission efficiency and a longer effective power transmission distance at the same time, this paper constructs an OA-based tri-coil PT symmetric MC-WPT system. The analytical expressions of its singularity, PT symmetric state, and PT symmetric broken state are obtained. Then a complete set of parameter design criteria for the tri-coil PT symmetric system is derived. The transmission efficiency and resonant frequency of two-coil and tri-coil system are simulated on MATLAB software, and the simulation results are consistent with the theoretical analysis results. Finally, an experimental device is constructed to further verify the correctness of the theory. This paper demonstrates that the effective power transmission distance of the tri-coil PT symmetric MC-WPT system is more than twice that of the two-coil PT symmetric MC-WPT system, which can achieve a good balance between transmission efficiency and transmission distance.

      • RALY RNA Binding Protein-like Reduced Expression is Associated with Poor Prognosis in Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

        Cui, Zhi-Wen,Xia, Ye,Ye, Yi-Wang,Jiang, Zhi-Mao,Wang, Ya-Dong,Wu, Jian-Ting,Sun, Liang,Zhao, Jun,Fa, Ping-Ping,Sun, Xiao-Juan,Gui, Yao-Ting,Cai, Zhi-Ming Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.7

The molecular mechanisms involved in the progression of clear cell renal cell carcinomas (ccRCCs) are still unclear. The aim of this study was to analyse the relationships between expression of RALYL and clinical characteristics. In 41 paired samples of ccRCCs and adjacent normal tissues, we used real-time qPCR to evaluate the expression of RALYL mRNA. RALYL protein levels were determined in 146 samples of ccRCC and 37 adjacent normal tissues by immunohistochemistry. Statistical analysis was used to explore the relationships between expression of RALYL and the clinical characteristics (gender, age, tumor size, T stage, N stage, M stage, survival times and survival outcome) in ccRCC. In addition, these patients were follow-up period 64 months (range: 4~116months) to investigate the influence on prognosis. We found significantly differences between ccRCC tissues and normal tissues (p<0.001, paired-sample t test) in mRNA levels of RALYL. Immunohistochemistry analyses in 146 ccRCC samples and 37 adjacent normal tissues showed significantly lower RALYL protein levels in ccRCC samples (${\chi}^2$-test, p<0.001), inversely correlating with tumour size (p=0.024), T stage (0.005), N stage (p<0.001) as well as M stage (p=0.019), but not age (p=0.357) and gender (p=0.348). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis demonstrated that people with lower level of RALYL expression had a poorer survival rate than those with a higher level of RALYL expression, significantly different by the log-rank test (p=0.011). Cox regression analysis indicated that RALYL expression (p=0.039), N stage (p=0.008) and distant metastasis (p<0.001) were independent prognosis factors for the overall survival of ccRCC patients. We demonstrated that the expression of RALYL was significantly low in ccRCC and correlated with a poor prognosis in a large number of clinical samples. Our findings showed that RALYL may be a potential therapeutic target as well as a poor prognostic factor.

Identification and Association of SNPs in TBC1D1 Gene with Growth Traits in Two Rabbit Breeds

        Yang, Zhi-Juan,Fu, Lu,Zhang, Gong-Wei,Yang, Yu,Chen, Shi-Yi,Wang, Jie,Lai, Song-Jia Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2013 Animal Bioscience Vol.26 No.11

The TBC1D1 plays a key role in body energy homeostasis by regulating the insulin-stimulated glucose uptake in skeletal muscle. The present study aimed to identify the association between genetic polymorphisms of TBC1D1 and body weight (BW) in rabbits. Among the total of 12 SNPs detected in all 20 exons, only one SNP was non-synonymous (c.214G>A. p.G72R) located in exon 1. c.214G>A was subsequently genotyped among 491 individuals from two rabbit breeds by the high-resolution melting method. Allele A was the predominant allele with frequencies of 0.7780 and 0.6678 in European white rabbit (EWR, n = 205) and New Zealand White rabbit (NZW, n = 286), respectively. The moderate polymorphism information content (0.25<PIC<0.50) was present in both breeds. The association analysis revealed that genotypes GA and AA had higher 35 d body weight (BW) than genotype GG in both EWR (p<0.01) and NEW (p<0.05). For the 56 d BW and 70 d BW traits, genotypes AA and GA were higher than genotype GG in both two breeds, the difference was not significant (p>0.05). Our results implied that the c.214G>A of TBC1D1 gene might be one of the candidate loci affecting the trait of 35 d BW in the rabbit.
