      • Interconnected hollow carbon nanospheres for stable lithium metal anodes

        For future applications in portable electronics, electric vehicles and grid storage, batteries with higher energy storage density than existing lithium ion batteries need to be developed. Recent efforts in this direction have focused on high-capacity electrode materials such as lithium metal, silicon and tin as anodes, and sulphur and oxygen as cathodes. Lithium metal would be the optimal choice as an anode material, because it has the highest specific capacity (3,860 mAh g<SUP>–1</SUP>) and the lowest anode potential of all. However, the lithium anode forms dendritic and mossy metal deposits, leading to serious safety concerns and low Coulombic efficiency during charge/discharge cycles. Although advanced characterization techniques have helped shed light on the lithium growth process, effective strategies to improve lithium metal anode cycling remain elusive. Here, we show that coating the lithium metal anode with a monolayer of interconnected amorphous hollow carbon nanospheres helps isolate the lithium metal depositions and facilitates the formation of a stable solid electrolyte interphase. We show that lithium dendrites do not form up to a practical current density of 1 mA cm<SUP>–2</SUP>. The Coulombic efficiency improves to ∼99% for more than 150 cycles. This is significantly better than the bare unmodified samples, which usually show rapid Coulombic efficiency decay in fewer than 100 cycles. Our results indicate that nanoscale interfacial engineering could be a promising strategy to tackle the intrinsic problems of lithium metal anodes.

        Mouse Orthotopic Lung Cancer Model Induced by PC14PE6

        Purpose: This study was undertaken to investigate in detail the xenograft mouse orthotopic lung cancer model induced by PC14PE6 adenocarcinoma cells.Materials and Methods: Three cell doses (0.5×106; 1×106; 2×106) of PC14PE6 cells were injected into the lungs of male BALB/c nude mice by the intrathoracic injection method. The lung and other organs, including brain, liver, spleen, kidney, muscle, adrenal gland, and lymph node on knee, were removed and stained with H/E to detect the presence of tumor cells. Results: The reliable tumorigenicity time in the PC14PE6 adenocarcinoma cell-inoculated BALB/c nude mouse was 10 days after intrathoracic injection. The average life span of the three groups after inoculation was 14 days in the 2×106 cells inoculum group; 25 days in the 1×106 cells inoculum group; and 32 days in the 0.5×106 cells inoculum group. The PC14PE6 adenocarcinoma cells induced orthotopic lung cancer limited within the thorax. Conclusions: This orthotopic lung cancer model is an efficient cancer model with easy inoculation methods, rapid and high tumorigenicity, and simple monitoring methods for metastasis.         Evaluation of Neck Lymph Node Metastasis on Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound: An Animal Study

        Objectives. To assess the performance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) intended to differentiate hyperplastic from malignant neck lymph nodes in an animal model. Methods. Twenty-four New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into two groups: neck lymph node metastasis group (12 rabbits) and reactive hyperplastic lymph node group (12 rabbits). Tongue VX2 carcinoma with cervical lymph node metastasis was induced in 12 rabbits by injecting VX2 carcinoma suspension into the left tongue submucosa. Hyperplastic neck lymph nodes were induced by injecting egg yolk in the submandibular region of the rabbits in hyperplastic group. CEUS were performed in both groups before and after intravenous administration of SonoVue. The site, number, echogenicity, longitudinal and transverse nodal dimensions, patterns of enhancement of the neck lymph nodes were observed and recorded. Results. In both groups only one lymph node was found in the left (tumor) side of the neck. CEUS found 12 of 12 metastatic lymph nodes in metastasis group, and diagnosed 11 of 12 lymph nodes as metastatic. Histopathologic analysis revealed metastatic lesions in all 12 rabbits, each with one lymph node, and all 12 lymph nodes in hyperplastic group is inflammation lymph nodes. All 12 cases in the hyperplastic group showed centripetal homogeneous enhancement while in the metastasis group one case showed centripetal homogeneous enhancement, three cases showed centrifugal heterogeneous enhancement, and eight cases showed diffused heterogeneous enhancement. Only one lymph node was dissected on the left side of the neck in each rabbit in both groups. Conclusion. CEUS can play a role in discriminating metastatic from hyperplastic lymph nodes in head and neck carcinoma.

        A Comparative Analysis of CET and TOEFL in Test Method Facets and Test Usefulness

        With the ever-increasing popularity of the College English Test (CET) in China, many researches have focused on CET itself and its washback effect on College English teaching in China. TOEFL, as one of the most prevailing international English tests in China, also draws lots of attention for research. However, few studies have compared these two tests. Since the introduction of TOEFL iBT in 2005 and CET reform in the same year, a horizontal comparative study seems to have become a necessity. This paper tries to compare CET and TOEFL iBT in a systematic way, with respect to the Test Method Facet and Test Usefulness. Through comparison, suggestions are given in order to improve the CET.

        Body constitution research in Korean traditional medicine adopt the diagnosis and treatment theory of "image-differentiation[body constitution differentiation, disease differentiation] in combination with syndrome differentiation diagnostic model and symptoms and signs of herbal property belong to image" as its core, which is key national medical science research project of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the project brought up 4 key scientific problem-body constitution differentiation theory, correlation theory of body constitution and disease, body constitution adjustable theory and symptoms and signs of herbal property belong to image theory. In body constitution pathology, it brought up "correlation between body constitution and symptoms", "differentiation between body constitution and symptoms" which increase the diagnostic level and diagnostic accuracy rate. In the condition of pathology, it obviously has low reliability according to body constitution differentiation, sometimes happen the description not comply with body constitution and disease symptoms, which lead to decrease the clinic diagnostic and treatment level, treatment effect not satisfying too. Now taking 4 key scientific achievement as criterion to illustrate the body constitution and disease symptoms.

        This study is targeted at the domestic Express Hotel Employees share knowledge factors influencing knowledge sharing, internal marketing, job satisfaction and systematic analysis of the impact on effective ways to present and share knowledge better than trying to present the internal marketing factors and implications depending on the purpose of Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gyeongju Express Hotel employees were surveyed, with AMOS using the SPSS statistical analysis was demonstrated, and the results are as follows. First, the relationship between internal marketing and knowledge sharing, internal communications, internal marketing factors of knowledge sharing and training shown significant influence but compensation does not affect the sharing of knowledge, respectively. Second, the relationship between internal marketing and job satisfaction is a factor of internal marketing training and reward significant effect on job satisfaction have shown natjiman, internal communications on the job satisfaction showed no significant effect. Third, the impact of knowledge sharing on job satisfaction, the path coefficient was 0.838 showed sufficient explanatory power, and knowledge sharing on job satisfaction positively influence.

        Variable Research on Engineering Characteristics of Soybean Urease Reinforced Sand

        In this study, based on soybean urease and standard sand, the unconfined compressive strength test and permeability test of four variables of urease concentration, urea concentration, calcium chloride concentration and sodium alginate content under different combinations of values were carried out, and the range analysis and variance analysis of test data were carried out. On this basis, the coupling model of unconfined compressive strength and permeability coefficient of soybean urease reinforced sand was established based on four test variables. It was found that the engineering characteristics of soybean urease reinforced sand were significantly affected by the combination of variable values. The maximum value of unconfined compressive strength under the test combination condition was 6.5 times of the minimum value, and the minimum value of permeability coefficient was only 1/4 of the maximum value. The primary and secondary order of influence variables of unconfined compressive strength was: urea concentration > calcium chloride concentration > urease concentration > sodium alginate content, and the primary and secondary order of influence variables of permeability coefficient was: urea concentration > calcium chloride concentration > sodium alginate content > urease concentration. The influence of urea concentration on unconfined compressive strength and permeability coefficient was obvious, and the influence of the other three variables was not obvious. In addition, it was confirmed that the established coupling model of unconfined compressive strength and permeability coefficient of soybean urease reinforced sand had high correlation coefficient and significant linear regression, which can be used for subsequent research and engineering application.

        Effect of Rhamnolipids on Degradation of Anthracene by Two Newly Isolated Strains, Sphingomonas sp. 12A and Pseudomonas sp. 12B

        Anthracene is a PAH that is not readily degraded, plus its degradation mechanism is still not clear. Thus, two strains of anthracene-degrading bacteria were isolated from longterm petroleum-polluted soil and identified as Sphingomonas sp. 12A and Pseudomonas sp. 12B by a 16S rRNA sequence analysis. To further enhance the anthracenedegrading ability of the two strains, the biosurfactants produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa W₃ were used, which were characterized as rhamnolipids. It was found that these rhamnolipids dramatically increased the solubility of anthracene, and a reverse-phase HPLC assay showed that the anthracene degradation percentage after 18 days with Pseudomonas sp. 12B was significantly enhanced from 34% to 52%. Interestingly, their effect on the degradation by Sphingomonas sp. 12A was much less, from 35% to 39%. Further study revealed that Sphingomonas sp. 12A also degraded the rhamnolipids, which may have hampered the effect of the rhamnolipids on the anthracene degradation.

        중-한 기계번역 시스템에 있어서 중국어 복합명사를 정확하게 처리하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 결정트리를 이용하여 품사의미 애매성을 포함된 복합명사를 인식하는 방법을 제시하였다. 제안한 방법으로 구축된 규칙이 기존의 방법보다 f-measure가 10.9% 더 좋은 성능을 보여 주었다.
