Young-Ran Kim. 2002. Lexical Information for Korean Language Learners: {eonje}^*. Journal of Korean Language Education 13-2: 39∼66. This paper deals with lexical information of the Korean word {eonje} for Korean language learners. In this paper, lexical information is consisted of morphological information and semantic information. First, morphological information is make up of five types of form: {eonje}, {eonje+X1}, {eonje+X1+X2}, and {eonje+X1+X2+X3}, {eonje X1 X2}. Second, semantic information can be divided into two aspects: meanings from the form and situational meanings based upon inference. In order to use {eonje} in real situations, Korean language learners have to know not only meanings from the from but also situational meanings. And Korean language teachers have to utilize these kinds of information. That is, lexical information is necessary in order to teach vocabulary to Korean language learners. Therefore, through the results obtained in this paper, explanations and figures of {eonje} can be used for teaching and learning the lexical information of {eonje} in Korean language education. The Syllable Contact in C Insertion Revisited

An, Young-ran. 2014. The Syllable Contact in C Insertion Revisited. Korean Journal of Linguistics, 39-4, 879-897. There may be a myriad of factors affecting the choice behavior, given many potentially possible consonants to be inserted in a certain position, like the onset of a reduplicant in a form of VCVC-CVCVC. Inter alia, this paper picks up the matter of local relationship, focusing particularly on a consonant preceding the segment to be inserted. It was previously found that the neighboring consonants on the border of syllables respect the constraint of syllable contact, in terms of sonority profile. This paper expands on this idea and provides a microscopic analysis on the data in point, arguing that seemingly SYLLCON violating cases turn out not to be the true instances of violation. The optimality of a phonological theory: Review of Bromberger and Halle (1997)

An, Young-ran. 2001. The Optimality of a Phonological Theory: Review of Bromberger and Halle (1997). Studies in Phonetics, Phonology and Morphology 7.1, 85-99. With a bumper crop of researches, OT flourishes not only in phonology but in the other academic areas as well. Against this stream there are some different observations like Bromberger & Halle (1997; B&H from here on) among others. There will always be pros and cons about a theory; therefore, we need to consider the opposing idea from B&H before we drown in the OT flood. By using the notions of predicates and satisfaction conditions, B&H find OT defective and eventually choose DT as a desirable phonological theory. However, their argument is both too strong and too weak. It is too strong in the sense that it is never suspicious about the existence of derivations. It is too weak in the sense that it vindicates DT via the mechanism of conditionals, which ironically proves that DT cannot give any explanation about failing outputs. (Ewha Womans University)

모바일 광고의 특성과 표현형태 및 신뢰에 관한 탐색적 연구

The purpose of this study is to experimentally research characteristics, modes, and trust of mobile advertising. The modes of mobile advertising are text mode, banner mode, push strategy of voice/audio mode, and pull strategy of video on demand. With advantages on individuality, location-based service, and interaction, mobile marketing advertising is leading the relationship marketing. Though it has a limit being an exploratory research, the study will help to establish effective mobile advertising strategy and increase trust of mobile advertising, so effects of mobile advertising are increased.

교합면을 포함하지 않는 2급 글래스 아이오노머 시멘트 수복물의 변연누출

The microleakage of direct-access Class 2 restorations was evaluated. Cavities were prepared at mesial and distal proximal enamel surfaces of 20 extracted human molars through buccal window. Prepared cavities were filled with Ketac-Fil, Ketac-Silver, and Fuji Ⅱ LC, following manufacturer's instructions. 4 specimens of each restorations were made through sectioning 1/4 of bucco-lingual length mesio-distally after thermocycling between 5℃ and 60℃ and imerging 0.5% basic-fuchsin dye solution. Leakage at both occlusal and gingival margin of each specimen was scored 0 to 3 with stereomicroscope. The results were as follows: 1. At occlusal margin, leakage in Ketac-Fil group was more than Ketac-Silver and Fuji Ⅱ LC group(ANOVA p<0.05) and there was no significant difference between Ketac-Silver and Fuji Ⅱ LC goup(p>0.05), and at gingival margin, there was no significant difference amang materials(p>0.05). 2. Occlusal margin leaked more than gingival margin in Ketac-Silver and Fuji Ⅱ LC group(t-test p<0.05). 3. Leakage was different according to bucco-lingual location in Ketac-Fil and Fuji Ⅱ LC group, and lingaul specimen exhibited more leakage(ANOVA p<0.05).

MPEG-4 부호화 데이터의 객체 기반 입체 동영상 변환

In this paper, we propose new stereoscopic video conversion methodology that converts two-dimensional(2-D) MPEG-4 video to stereoscopic video. In MPEG-4, each image is composed of background object and primary object. In the first step of the conversion methodology, the camera motion type is determined for stereo image generation. For this, motion vectors of background object are utilized. In the second step, the object-based stereo image generation is accomplished. The background object makes use of a current image and a delayed image for its stereo image generation. On the other hand, the primary object uses a current image and its horizontally-shifted version to avoid the possible vertical parallax that could happen. Furthermore, URFA(Uncovered Region Filling Algorithm) is applied in the uncovered region which might be created after the stereo image generation of a primary object. In our experiment, we convert MPEG-4 test video to stereoscopic video based upon our proposed methodology and analyze its results.

《竹取物語》성립에 관한 일고찰

『竹取物語』の內容の中で, 特に翁による主人公かぐや姬の發見の部分と, 後半部の月の世界への昇天を語る部分は, 『萬葉集』『風土記』『今昔物語集』その他に, 類似する話として傳ぇられている. これはすなわちこの物語の素材が全篇にわたって古代に傳ぇられていた多くの民間說話をはじめ, いろいろの多樣な傳承屑話に基づいているのを語っている. それで本考では, この物語の中核をなす素材が具體的にどんなものであるかを考察し, それが 作品の中ではどうふうに取り扱われているのかを調べることで, この物語の主題性について考えてみることにしたい. 『竹取物語』は 素材の面から見ると大きく羽衣傳承と難題求婚譚の二つの流れをなしているが, いずれにしろ古代傳承それ自體がそのまま作品に なったのではなく, 傳えられていろいろの素材を消化し, 創作されたものと認めなければならい要素が多いにある. つまり この作品は日本古代に傳えられていた民間素材をもとにして, それが羽衣傳承が創作のヒントとなり 作品の現實性を加える效果も出す實在人物名を使つた難題求始譚を混ぜて出來あがつた假名散文作品である.

Sue Bridehead의 심리적 한계성 연구

This article intends to elucidate the psychological contradiction and two-sidedness of Sue Bridehead, the female protagonist in Jude the Obscure. To understand Sue's psychological problem is crucial to defend the criticism about the incosistency of Sue's characterization as a New Woman and the lack of unity(or the unrelatedness of too various subjects) in this novel. Sue's seeming inconsistency and abnormal mentality are the result of her contradiction between liberal appearance and conventional reality, rather than Thomas Hardy's weakened feminist awareness. Sue's psychological problems arise from her unconscious internalization of social conventions, more specifically, the Christian principles which deny the flesh. In this sense her psychological problems can be said to be her limitation. Her psychological limitation has deadly influence upon the unconventionally instinctive Jude, who has already become aware, by the middle part of Jude the Obscure, that he should live by his natural impulses rather than by arbitrary conventional codes and institutions. Sue's psychological problem is not a pathetic case but the representation of a modern problem, the heavy and destructive oppression of social convention upon instinct. Her limitation is not the universal and inevitable limitation of human beings, but the problem caused by a liberal viewpoint formed not through concrete and actual experience but through superficial and theoretical acceptance. Hence Sue's excessively exaggerated problems can not be said to show Hardy's deepening pessimistic inclination or psychological determinism.

麗水 國家産團內의 住民 移住對策에 關한 硏究

In this country, urbanization and industrialization has proceeded with rapidity through continuous economic development, and the policies of the country for local development have been established for the purpose of the stability of national life and the increase of the wellbeing of the local dwellers. And so, Yeosu Industrial Complex is located in this area on the basis of the policy, but, as the most of public works in this country do, the Complex faces serious problems of securing the land necessary for the work, not having saved it in advance. At the point that the land is limited, the price of land is risen in accordance with the change of the nation's awareness, the compensation money for the public work should be appropriated, and the counterplan for removing the dwellers should be established, I carry out this survey to contribute to the stability of national life and the harmonious drive of the project.

여성문제 인식과 성차 사이의 상관관계 : Comparison between Adam Bede and The Return of the Naive 『애덤 비드』와 『귀향』비교

This article reveals a close relationship between writers' gender and their representation of the issue of feminist awareness as illustrated in George Eliot's Adam Bede and thomas Hardy's The Return of the Native. Their feministic views seem not to be clearly presented because of both novels's seeming inconsistency and the narrators' contradictory attitude to heroines. Writers' gender is the key to understanding the reason of the inconsistency. The ambiguous and inconsistent attitude of Hardy towards Eustacia and Clym is due to his inadequate awareness of feminism. He does not thoroughly pursue the dilemma of Eustacia, who passionately wants to assume power in a conventional society with denies women the chance of self-realization. Clym's limitation to maintain a conventional reality, inspite of his conscious effort to be a liberalist, is not consistently criticized. Hardy's feminist awareness, however, proves to be progressive as shown in Book 6. Because of his shallow feminist viewpoint, this novel falls short of perfection inspite of its impression of greatness. While Hardy need not suppress his feminist awareness, Eliot's keen consciousness of conservative readers restrains her view of feminism. The sudden change in focus from Hetty's tragic romance to Adam's 'Bildungsroman', the narrator's contradictory attitude to Hetty. and Dinah's sudden metamorphosis from a Methodist preacher to Adam's wife result from Eliot's urgent need to suppress her feminist viewpoint. However, she is better able to present her own feminist perspective in keeping her distance from conventional narrator and in revealing his unnaturalness or unconvincingness. In this respect, Adam Bede more vividly exhibits a deeper awareness of feminism than does The Return of the Native.
