        Today human needs for health promotion and maintenance are increasing. The nursing progression has a great responsibility for helping clients to practice good health behavior. self efficacy was found to be potent predictor in initiating and maintaining the health-related behavior. Therefore, the concept is important in nursig intervention for change of health behavior. The purpose of this paper was to analyze and clarify the meaning of the concept, self efficacy. This study used Walder & Avant's process of concept analysis. Critical attributes of self efficacy were : 1) positive perception of his won capability; 2) intrapersonal strength; 3) possibility of being learned; 4) individuality; 5) specificity; 6) generalizability. Antecedents of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) new situation occurs; 2) individuals have needs to change the new situation; 3) there are some required actions in new situation. Consequences occurring as a result of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) individual initiates the of failure; 5) cope with the situation; 6) controls the situation; 7) the level of self efficacy is enhanced; 8) the level of self-esteem is enhanced.

      • 순환메모리를 이용한 비디오 데이터 연속저장이 가능한 휴대형 켐코더 전화기의 설계

        A new mobile camcorder type telephone has been designed. The telephone can record continuously the moving picture with the finite volume of memory. The phone has the circular type memory for the continuous video recording. The generated current video data stream is overwritten on the oldest region of the recorded video data. The telephone has an external interface port for the small remote camera module to catch the scene around the user, and has the acceleration sensor to detect the impact on the device. In an emergency, the camcorder phone can record the surroundings of an user and send the video data to the other remote user.

      • 여섯개 구상성단의 역학적인 성질

        6개 구상성단의 기하학적인 요소를 가지고 성단의 역학적인 성질을 알기 위해서 여러가지 역학적인 시간을 구했다. 구해진 성단 중심 부분의 이완시간은 구상성단의 나이보다 적기 때문에 아무리 큰 성단조차도 중심 부분에서는 완전히 이완되었다고 볼 수 있다. 성단의 mixing time은 King 이 구한 값과 매우 유사했다. 속도분포함수인 Fokker-Planck 방정식을 이용하여 evaporation time을 계산한 결과는 각 성단의 이완시간과 비교할 때 훨씬 큰 값이 나왔다. 또한 개개 성단의 중심 부분의 밀도를 이용하여 disruption time을 구해 본 결과 성간운으로 인한 중력 충돌의 영향은 성단 중심부분에서는 무시할 수 있다고 볼 수 있다. From geometric parameters of six globular clusters, various dynamical times were calculated to know the dynamical properties of clusters. Central relaxation times for these clusters are less than the age of the globular clusters. Even in the richest globular clusters it is possible to assume that the central parts of the clusters were relaxed. And the calculated mixing times are very similar to King's results. Using Fokker-Planck equation for the velocity-distribution the calculated central evaporation times are more than calculated relaxation times. Also, using the central density of clusters the disruption times were derived. It appears that effects of disruption by the gravitational encounters with the interstellar clouds is negligible for these clusters.

      • 접합부 온도효과를 고려한 AlGaAs/GaAs HBT의 전류원 모델링

        AlGaAs/GaAs HBT를 위한 새로운 정 전류원 모델과 이에 대한 등가회로 파라메터를 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 모델은 단자전류를 표시하기 위해 9개의 파라메터를 가지고 있다. 이들 파라메터에 대해 어떤 조정과정도 필요치 않은 직접적인 추출 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 기존의 방법에서 사용하는 Gummel-Plot를 사용하지 않고 측정한 DC-IV 곡선을 이용한다. 이 모델은 물리적으로 의미 있는 파라메터로 표시되며 측정된 DC-IV 곡선을 잘 예측한다. Abstract-We propose a new static current model for AlGaAs/GaAs HBT and the corresponding equivalent circuit parameter extraction method. The proposed model has 9-parameters for the terminal current expressions. We propose a direct extraction scheme for the parameters without any trimming processes. This scheme use the measured DC-IV curve without the Gummel-Plot used in the previous methods. This model is expressed with the physically meaningful parameters and predict the measured DC-IV curve very well.

      • APEC 회원국의 경제통합에 따른 한국의 무역효과 분석

        The purpose of this paper is to analyze the APEC establishment effects on Korea's trade. This paper hypothesizes the two cases of Korea's economic status as an industrialized nation and as a developing nation, and establishes the six scenarios for the two cases by the year 2000, 2010, and 2020. Based on these scenarios, the trade changes between Korea and APEC member nations were estimated. The results can be summarized as follows. First, if Korea is classified as a developing nation in 2000, the first year of APEC trade liberalization, it shows that the trade between Korea and APEC member nations yields the trade surplus and export and import increase Second, if Korea is classified as a developing nation in 2010, the first stage of establishment of APEC trade liberalization, Korea will experience the surplus of trade balance and export-import will increase more. Third, in the year 2020, when economic integration between industrialized nations and developing nations is achieved, the scenario shows the rapid increase in Korea's export and import caused by the integration and equilibrium of trade balance. Based on the results of above analysis, we can forecast that the participation to APEC economic integration will be advantageous to Korea. It will be more desirable for Korea to participate the APEC economic integration as a developing nation in order to maximize positive effects. In reality, Korea should head toward the participation to APEC economic integration after evaluating advantages and disadvantages because the perspective that Korea should be classified into industrialized nations is increasing in international economic environment. Second, as a result of the analysis on the APEC economic integration effects, Korea's trade balance against industrialized nations is aggravated whereas its trade balance against developing nations is improved. It represents that the current situation of Korea's international competitiveness is in between industrial nations and developing nations. Korea should, therefore, prepare for enhancing international competitiveness on the government level as well as local firm level against APEC economic integration. Third, it is expected that APEC economic integration would be beneficial to industrialized nations but unfavorable to developing nations who might complain about the disadvantage, and would try to compensate it by requesting the complementary measures. Accordingly, Korea should play a crucial role as a bridge which will alleviate dispute between Korea and APEC member countries.

        Historically, the right to work, independent association, collective bargaining and collective action were not admitted in the early stage. But left to themselves after that, nowadays, admitted generally. Object for admitting those rights lies in making them live humanly by enhancing working conditions. This paper discourses on the structure and the limitation of the labor standard right. The labor standard right, as a rule, ought to be guaranteed in proper range, the restriction must not transcend necessary extent. Because industrial peace and state development can be made by cooperation of capital and labor.

        대구시의 대기오염이 일별 사망에 미치는 영향(1993~1997)

        Objectives : In order to evaluate the relationship between daily mortality and air pollution in Deagu for the period by the data from January 1993 to December 1997. Methods : Deaths from accident (International Classification of Disease, Revision 9 ; 800∼999 and Revision 10 ; V01-Y89) were excluded. Daily counts of deaths were analysed by general additive poisson model on the current day to 5 days before death, with controlling for effects of year, season, weather, weekday and holiday. The air pollutants examined included total suspended particulate (TSP), sulfur dioxide (504, nitrogen dioxide (NO2 , carbon monoxide (CO) and ozone (O3). Results : Mortality was associated with NO2, SO2 and CO in the air. Total mortality was estimated to increase by 1.6 %(95 % CI 0.3∼3 %) with each 10 ppb rise in NO2 on the current day and the preceding 1 day, 9.4 %(95 % CI 7∼13 %) with each 100 pub rise in SO2 and 2.7%(95% CI 0.1∼5%) with each 1 ppm rise in CO on the current day. The NO2 was more evident for the elderly who were 65 years and more. Cardiovascular-specific mortality was associated with the levels of CO on the current day. Respiratory-specific mortality was associated with the levels of TSP and NO2 5 days before death. Excess mortality risk is clearly evident in the upper range of NO2 levels and increased monotonically with NO2. Conclusions : This study suggested that the air pollution status below the current Korean ambient air quality standard might have an adverse effect on daily mortality. Then, it is impertive that the strategy for control of the air pollution-related daily mortality should be developed.

      • 전파조정기를 이용한 마이크로파 소자용 Calibration

        A microwave device measurement tool kit using the TRL method for microwave tuner was developed. Teflon substrate was used for easy manufacturing. An adapter from CDI was used for the junction transition between microstrip and coaxial line. Mask production procedure which have the 3:1 reduction ratio was developed for microstrip transmission line manufacturing. Using these procedure the Cal Kit which can have Thru, Reflect, and Line was manufactured. TRL error correction method can be applied to the Kit. We tested the Cal kit and the error due to the microstrip line could be corrected. It can be applicable to the accurate measurement of microwave transistors.

      • FWD를 이용한 콘크리트 덧씌우기 줄눈부에서의 하중전달효과 연구

        콘크리트포장의 구조적 능력을 평가하는 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나는 하중전달효과이다. 하중전달효과는 양쪽 슬래브의 처짐량비로 결정된다. 하중전달효과가 낮은 슬래브에서는 하중이 한쪽 슬래브에만 부하되어 콘크리트포장의 파괴를 촉진시키고 포장수명을 단축시킨다. 본 연구에서는 슬래브 온도, 다우월바 시공유무, 줄눈틈이 하중전달효과에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 88 고속도로에서 FWD(Falling Weight Deflectometer)를 이용하여 다양한 온도조건에서 하중 전달효과 조사틀 실시하였다. 연구결과 다우월바를 시공한 구간에서는 온도변화에 관계없이 하중전달효과가 큰 차이를 보이지 않은 반면, 다우월바를 시공하지 않은 구간에서는 저온에서 하중전달효과 감소가 컸다. 또한 다우월바를 시공한 구간이라도 포장이 노후화되면 하중전달효과는 온도가 하락함에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 조사대상 구간에서는 슬래브 단위온도 하락시 하중전달효과는 2.6% 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. One of the most important factors accounting for the structural capacity of concrete pavement is load transfer. Load transfer efficiency is determined by measuring deflection ratio across the slabs. In joints where load transfer efficiency is low, stress is concentrated in the loaded slab and accelerates the deterioration of the concrete, reducing the life of the pavement. In this study load transfer efficiencies were measured at various temperature conditions on 88 Express Highway using FWD(Falling Weight Deflectometer) in order to find the effects of slab temperature, construction of dowel bars, crack width at the joint on the load transfer efficiency. For the sections with dowel bars, there were little differences in load transfer efficiency regardless of temperature changes. For the sections without dowel bars, however, there were great losses of load transfer efficiency at low temperatures. For the old pavement, even in the sections with dowel bars, the load transfer efficiency reduced as the temperature dropped. For the sections in this study, 2.6% reduction of the load transfer efficiency was observed for each 1 ℃ drop in the slab temperature.
