Counter balance is used to compensate the gravity force of vertical table and is a significant factor that decide mechanical characteristic of vertical movement system. Chain or rope is widely used to transfer compensation force in case of mechanical counter weight. In this paper relationship between sprocket, chain setting angle and force transfer is described and we have conducted static analysis of compensating force error under chain setting error from chain that transfer the counter force.
전파조정기를 이용한 마이크로파 소자용 Calibration

A microwave device measurement tool kit using the TRL method for microwave tuner was developed. Teflon substrate was used for easy manufacturing. An adapter from CDI was used for the junction transition between microstrip and coaxial line. Mask production procedure which have the 3:1 reduction ratio was developed for microstrip transmission line manufacturing. Using these procedure the Cal Kit which can have Thru, Reflect, and Line was manufactured. TRL error correction method can be applied to the Kit. We tested the Cal kit and the error due to the microstrip line could be corrected. It can be applicable to the accurate measurement of microwave transistors.

In this report we developed a high voltage alarm for the safety of workers who check and repair the 154kV power line. This high voltage alarm we developed is attached on workers' helmet and alarms automatically in order to let workers know when workers work over the safety distance near 154kV power line. Until now the exact safety distance hasn't been regulated and high voltage alarm we've been using was for the range of 6∼22.9kV power line. We fabricated this high voltage alarm on the basis of electric density and actual measurement of power line. The experimental result was that high voltage alarm at 66kV power line alarmed near 90cm, at 154kV power line alarmed near 160cm from the line. Accordingly, we developed the new high voltage alarm which is operated in the range of 66∼154kV power line.
