Design of New Attenuator Structure with Quad Spiral sHaped Defected Ground Structure

We suggest new attenuator design and formula using quad spiral shaped defected ground structure (DGS). Series resistors and quarter wavelength transmission line that has a role of inverter have been synthesized for attenuator design and novel attenuator structure using quad spiral shaped DGS is fabricated, the measurements show good agreement with theoretical anticipations. The suggested attenuator could remove peak of insertion loss graph through various attenuation method. The various attenuations are obtained by attached pin-diodes, 10-15㏈ attenuation leveling is realized for validity of suggested design.

It is well known that the acoustic cavity inside the tire-wheel assembly contributes to vehicle interior noise. In this paper, we performed acoustic and structural modal testings to look into the acoustic cavity resonance for the tire in free-suspension and the loaded tire more closely. The testing has given us some findings, which are reported in this paper.

<P>Intense visible light irradiation was applied to phosphorous-implanted polycrystalline Si thin films on glass substrates, which exhibited strong absorption features due to their amorphization by the application of a large implantation dose. Despite the short pulse duration of the visible light, the use of a high-powered and subsequently intensified Xe arc lamp allowed for significant electrical activation even at near-ambient temperatures and above, surpassing the efficacy of conventional thermal activation processes. Using a simple optical-thermal model, theoretical predictions indicate that the instantaneous temperatures of the phosphorous-implanted Si thin films reach approximately 680°C under the irradiation of a short pulse of light with a half maximum of 400 μsec, allowing for short- and long-range rearrangements of the implanted dopants and displaced Si atoms through diffusions enhanced through the high fraction of grain boundaries in the polycrystalline Si thin films.</P>

<P>This paper reports the improved microstructural and optical properties of semipolar (11-22) InGaN quantum well (QW) structures grown on SiO2 nanorods formed by introducing self-organized masks. The crystal quality of GaN grown on SiO2 nanorods was significantly improved by the defect blocking mechanism. The cathodoluminescence (CL) intensity of regrown GaN on SiO2 nanorods increased approximately 9.5 times in comparison with that of the reference GaN, which is attributed to the defect reduction effect of the nanorods. Semipolar InGaN/GaN double QWs grown on SiO2 nanorod masks showed an approximately 80% increase in internal quantum efficiency (IQE) in relation to that of the reference GaN.</P>

세계적인 탈탄소 흐름 속에서 2050 탄소 중립 목표가 선언되었으며, 탄소 배출량 감소를 위한 재생에너지로의 급격한 전환에 따라 재생에너지 변동성 및 수급 불균형 문제가 대두괴고 있다. 전기차를 수요자원(V1G)과 발전원(V2G)으로 활용하는 것은 전력망에서 발생하는 문제를 해결함과 동시에 새로운 비즈니스모델 창출이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 전기차 충전 데이터 분석을 활용하여 전력시장 참여를 위한 EVC(Electric Vehicle Charger) 매집량 기준을 제시하고자 한다. 제주 내 운용 중인 급속 충전기의 2019년 1년 동안 수집된 데이터가 사용되었으며, k-means 클러스터링으로 EVC 이용확률 패턴을 도출하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 전력 시장 참여 용량 기준에 맞는 EVC 매집량을 산출하였다.

During the last decade the autonomous driving technology has been increasingly paid attention throughout researchers. An AI (Artificial Intelligence), has been considered as a promising method for the autonomous driving and to develop an AI based system, especially using a DNN (Deep Neural Network), a dataset for training and validating the neural network is essential. For this reason, we develop a data capturing system for perception and planning system of an autonomous vehicle, collect rich data throughout Daejeon metropolitan city, sample and label it to build a dataset. The details of the capturing system and the dataset are introduced in this paper.
