        Cloning and Characterization of an Annexin Gene from Cynanchum komarovii that Enhances Tolerance to Drought and Fusarium oxysporum in Transgenic Cotton

        A novel plant annexin, CkANN, was isolated from Cynanchum komarovii. Sequence analysis showed that CkANN contained four conserved exdonexin fold regions, a putative peroxidase heme binding motif and two S3 clusters. Real-time PCR analysis indicated that the CkANN mRNAwas abundant in leaf, flower, root and stem and that its level is highest in leaf and flower. The transcription level of CkANN was increased significantly following stress by salicylic acid (SA), methyl jasmonate (MeJA), abscisic acid (ABA), NaCl, PEG 6000 (polyethylene glycol) and H_2O_2. Over-expression of CkANN in transgenic cotton caused a significant increase in tolerance to drought and led to higher levels of proline and soluble carbohydrates compared to wild-type (WT) plants. In response to drought,the transgenic plants also displayed higher total chlorophyll levels and reduced accumulation of thiobarbituric acidreactive substances (TBARS) compared to WT plants. Furthermore, the transgenic cotton showed enhanced resistance to Fusarium oxysporum via increased total peroxidase activity and induction of the expression of some pathogenesis-related proteins. In conclusion, this study has demonstrated that C. komarovii CkANN is involved in drought tolerance and disease resistance and therefore may contribute significantly to the development of drought- or disease-resistant crops.

        The Financial Performance of Korean Manufacturing SMEs: Influence of Human Resources Management

        The purpose of this study is to explore and empirically analyze the factors affecting the financial performance of Korean small- and medium-sized manufacturing companies, which are relatively insufficiently researched, in terms of human resource management (HRM). In particular, this study intends to examine the human resource management activities focusing on the individual influences of workers' attitudes on systems and policies as well as jobs and organizations. This study reviews previous research and discussions on the human resource management system, as well as the organization and job-related attitudes and financial performance of workers, for the formulation of two hypotheses. Among the HCCP data, the hypothesis was verified through reliability and correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis for small- and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. The results show, firstly, that human resource systems and systems have the same effect, but there were differences in the degree of impact. Secondly, job satisfaction has a statistically significant influence on financial performance. Lastly, all worker/employee attitude determinants are statistically significant for both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. HRM, previously relatively overlooked, provided theoretical and practical implications by demonstrating the direct impact on financial performance and the impact of individual human resource management systems and policies.

        The Impact of Information Technology on Organizational Performance: The Mediating Effect of Organizational Learning

        This study aims to examine OL as a potential mediating variable in the relationship between IT and organizational performance. Organizational learning (OL) has been proposed as the mechanism to accomplish this task. Existing empirical research demonstrates that OL may indeed act as a mediator for the effect of IT on organizational outcomes. Also, existing literature discusses the use of technology in the organization, and the case for OL as the key knowledge process, and the intersection between technology and OL as a knowledgebased means for improving organizational performance. Many studies use a descriptive measure of OL despite the theory suggesting that a normative measure may be more appropriate. This study aims to address these concerns in a setting by using structural equation modelling (SEM) to compare the effectiveness of descriptive and normative measures of OL as mediating variables in knowledge-intensive organizations. Survey results support OL as a mediator between IT and organizational performance in addition to normative measures of OL outperforming descriptive measures. Implications for research and practice are discussed. To test the model, we will apply (SEM) structural equation modeling in the analysis of a moment structures (AMOS) on the empirical evidence collected from 218 Pakistani CEOs and top managers.

        퍼지-계층분석을 이용한 중국 소프트웨어 수출지원정책 성과평가 연구

        This study is the result of a fuzzy-AHP-based evaluation of the support policy for the export of Chinese software, for which nine Class 1 evaluation indexes were established. Following a survey of 10 Chinese software experts, fuzzy AHP was used to assess and evaluate the absolute and relative importance of each index. The evaluation revealed that the support policy had relatively positive effects. More specifically, the analysis showed that several indices - technology development, HR development, marketing reinforcement, fund support, platform establishment, and product support - carried relatively significant importance. Quality management and tax deductions, on the other hand, showed no importance, while the importance of international certification was relatively small. In light of these discoveries, there is a need to train experts, increase software quality, and reconsider software brands. 본 문은 퍼지-계층분석 (fuzzy-AHP)을 기반으로 중국 소프트웨어 수출지원정책 성과평가를 분석 연구하였다. 기술개발, 품질관리 등 9개의 1급 성과 평가지표 체계를 구성하고, 10명의 중국 소프트웨어전문가에 대한 설문조사를 실시한 후, 퍼지-계층분석을 활용하여 절대적 상대적 중요도를 산정하여, 퍼지 종합평가를 실시하였다. 평가한 결과, 중국 소프트웨어 수출지원정책 성과는 전반적으로 양호한 수준으로 나타났다. 기술개발, 인재양성, 마케팅강화, 자금지원, 플랫폼구축, 제품지원의 영향력은 비교적 중요하고, 품질관리, 세수감면의 영향력은 변화가 없으며, 국제인증의 영향력은 비교적 작은 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 따라 고급 소프트웨어 전문인력을 양성하고, 소프트웨어 품질을 강화하며, 소프트웨어 브랜드를 제고할 필요가 있다.

        Effect of Various Retrogression Regimes on Aging Behavior and Precipitates Characterization of a High Zn-Containing Al–Zn–Mg–Cu Alloy

        In the present work, the infl uence of various retrogression treatments on hardness, electrical conductivity and mechanicalproperties of a high Zn-containing Al–Zn–Mg–Cu alloy is investigated and several retrogression regimes subjected to a samestrength level are proposed. The precipitates are qualitatively investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy techniques. Based on the matrix precipitate observations, thedistributions of precipitate size and nearest inter-precipitate distance are extracted from bright-fi eld TEM images projectedalong ⟨110⟩ Al orientation with the aid of an imaging analysis and an arithmetic method. The results show that GP zonesand η′ precipitates are the major precipitates and the precipitate size and its distribution range continuously enlarge with theretrogression regime expands to an extent of high temperature. The nearest inter-precipitate distance ranges obtained arequite the same and the average distance of nearest inter-precipitates show a slight increase. The infl uence of precipitates onmechanical properties is discussed through the interaction relationship between precipitates and dislocations.

        중국 소프트웨어 지원정책이 중국 소프트웨어 수출액에 미치는 영향 분석

        본 논문은 지표분석법을 활용하여 중국 정부의 소프트웨어 지원정책이 소프트웨어 수출액에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 2008년부터 2014년까지 기술개발, 인력양성, 품질관리, 마케팅강화 측면에서 분석한 결과, 연도별 정책영향력과 소프트웨어 수출액이 비슷한 모양으로 증가하였으며, 이것은 중국 정부의 소프트웨어 지원정책이 소프트웨어 수출액에 정비례적인 효과가 있음을 의미하고 있다. 다만, 중국 소프트웨어 수출액이 소프트웨어 총생산액에서 차지하는 비중은 매년 하락했으며, 이것은 중국 소프트웨어산업이 내수시장 위주로 성장하고 있음을 시사하고 있다. 이러한 중국의 소프트웨어 지원 정책과 시장추이를 고려하여 한국 정부는 빅데이터, 사물인터넷 등 미래전략산업의 경우 국내 활성화를 바탕으로 중국 시장 진출을 확대하고, ICT와 제조업, 서비스업간 융합 신사업의 경우 한 중 양국의 비교우위를 결합하여 상호이익이 될 수 있는 적합한 모델구축이 필요하다고 본다. In this study, we investigate an influence of the China government's software support policy on the revenue of software export. In the analysis in the areas of technology development, manpower development, quality control and marketing reinforcement from 2008 to 2014, it has been found that the amounts of the policy influence and annual revenue of software export increase simultaneously, proving that the China government's support policy has a close relationship with the software export revenue. However, the annual ratio of the software export revenue to the gross software production revenue has decreased over the period, which indicates that the growth of software industry in China has been mainly driven by domestic market.

        Measurement and Theoretical Calculation Confirm the Improvement of T7651 Aging State Influenced Precipitation Characteristics on Fatigue Crack Propagation Resistance in an Al–Zn–Mg–Cu Alloy

        Precipitation characteristics influencing fatigue crack propagation contained matrix precipitate, grain boundary precipitateand precipitate free zone for Al–Zn–Mg–Cu alloys. Over-aging treatment could effectively regulate precipitation and then tobe able to change fatigue crack propagation behavior compared with the peak aging state. In the current work, typical T651and T7651 aging tempers of the alloy were extracted via hardness, electrical conductivity and mechanical properties underone-step and two-step aging treatments. Fatigue crack propagation (FCP) rate under them was tested and correspondingprecipitation characteristics and fracture morphology were observed. The results indicated that fatigue crack propagationresistance for the T7651 temper possessed an obvious improvement on the side of that for the T651 temper, which was alsosupported by fracture appearance, including tearing ridge, tearing dimple and fatigue striation. The precipitation observationshowed that the T651 alloy contained GPI zone, GPII zone and ηʹ phase while the T7651 alloy possessed ηʹ phase and η phase.Compared with the T651 temper, matrix precipitate for the T7651 temper distinctly owed an expanding of size distributionand an enlargement of average size while cuttable phase still remained the dominance for both tempers. Grain boundaryprecipitate and precipitate free zone manifested no obvious difference between the two aging tempers. Cut and bypass mechanismsof dislocation–precipitate interactions were used for explanation and it revealed the reinforced cuttable phase was infavor of enhancing fatigue crack propagation resistance. A theoretical model which directly correlated FCP rate with matrixprecipitate characteristics was employed to calculate FCP rate by substituting quantitative precipitate characteristics and thecalculation results were vaguely consistent with the experimental measurement, which proved its reliability and feasibility.

        Optimized separation method for conducted EMI noise based on Mardiguian network and common mode choke

        Based on the characteristic parameters of a noise discrimination network (NDN), the Mardiguian network is used as an example to investigate the influence of stray capacitance on the performance of the NDN. The obtained results show that stray capacitance has a significant effect on the performance of the NDN. Considering the influence of stray capacitance, this paper proposes a network optimization method based on the Mardiguian network. The optimization method is superior to the Mardiguian network in performance, and it improves the separation accuracy of differential mode noise.

        Microstructure Evolution of High-Alloyed Al–Zn–Mg–Cu–Zr Alloy Containing Trace Amount of Sc During Homogenization

        Microstructure evolution of a new high-alloyed Al–Zn–Mg–Cu–Zr–Sc aluminium alloy during two-stage homogenizationprocess was investigated by use of scanning electron microscope, transition electron microscope and high resolution transitionelectron microscope. The results indicate that the morphology and chemical composition of Al 3 (Sc, Zr) particles formedin the fi rst stage were greatly aff ected by heating temperature. With the increase of heating temperature, the morphologyof Al 3 (Sc, Zr) particles transform from cuboidal with evident faceting to spheroidal due to improved Zr diff usivity. MoreZr atoms enrich in the interface of precipitate/matrix forming a thin layer. Moreover, the mean diameter of precipitatesincreases a little bit with the increase of heating temperature, showing very restricted coarsening rate and high thermal stabilityof Al 3 (Sc, Zr) particles. After an appropriate second stage heat treatment (474 °C × 48 h), the intermetallic formed inthe solidifi cation process could dissolve suffi ciently and Al 3 (Sc, Zr) particles still keep very good coherency with Al matrixwithout abnormal growth.
