        공포 영화 CG 캐릭터의 불쾌한 골짜기 효과에 대한 실증적 연구

        This study empirically analyzes the uncanny valley effect on the horror movies characters. We adopt the concept of the perceived humanness and perceived eeriness used in previous researches. We also run facial recognition programs to verify the human-likeness, and we conduct a survey to illuminate the uncanny valley effect, fear, perceived humanness and perceived eeriness. In the case of the Microsoft Vision API, human-like types are recognized as humans, on the other hands, creature types are mostly detected as animals. The significance of the appearance elements is derived and this research proves that various factors other than the pursuit of realism influence the cognitive and emotional response to the uncanny valley effect. In the theoretical and practical level, the study not only provides meaningful implications for content creator, but also enhances the understanding of the uncanny valley effect for experts related to computer graphics, animation, visual effects in the near future.

      • 충청지역 口자 집의 마당 규모로 본 실 구성 특성

        The purpose of this study is to study the characteristics and locality of the Korean traditional housing. Research on traditional housing has been conducted a lot of studies. Among them, the Ban-ga is often designated as cultural assets and remains in good condition, so it is easy to study and research can continue in the future. On the other hand, the Min-ga is not good for conservation conditions because of the poor economic environment of the owner, so it is constantly disappearing or transforming and not easy to investigate. In addition, it was not deeply conducted about the actual configuration characteristics and locality. In this background, this study data centered on Kim Hong-sik, and analyzed the characteristics of the Chung-sik’s house in Chungcheong Province. In the future, I would like to present basic data for comparing the flat composition method of the ‘ㅡ’-shaped house and the 口-shaped house and deriving its characteristics and locality.

        This study analyzed the composition characteristics of rooms through the size of the 口-shaped house courtyard in Gyeonggi region based on Kim Hong-Siks survey data from 1971 to 2001. When looking at the type of floor plan of private houses in Korea, it can be seen that although the frequency is different, private houses in the 口-shaped plane are distributed nationwide. The room composition and arrangement form of the 口-shaped house differ depending on the region. Therefore, this study aims to derive the regional characteristics of the room composition through the size of the 口-shaped house courtyard.

        Ready-to-drink (RTD) 커피 음료의 카페인 함량과 표시사항의 적합성

        본 연구에서는 대형마트, 편의점 및 온라인 마켓에서 수집한 조제커피 제품의 카페인 함량을 모니터링하고 표시사항의 적합성을 검토하고자 하였다. 카페인의 함량은 HPLC을 사용하여 정량 분석하였다. 그 결과, 콜드브루 제품의 카페인 함량은 0.31-1.04 mg이었으며 평균 0.55 mg으로 나타났다. 제품 1개당 평균 함량은 147.27 mg/bottle로 나타나, 일일 권장섭취량을 감안하였을 때 성인 1인당 2.7병을 섭취할 수 있다. 아메리카노 제품의 카페인 함량은 0.15-0.38 mg이었으며 평균 함량은 0.28 mg 수준으로 나타났다. 제품 1개당 평균 함량은 110.42 mg/bottle로 나타나, 일일 권장섭취량을 감안하였을 때 성인 1인당 3.6병을 섭취할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 디카페인 콜드브루 제품의 카페인 평균 함량은 5.14 mg/bottle로 나타났으며 일반 아메리카노 제품에 비해 약 95%이상 카페인이 제거되어 식품의약품안전처에서 제시한 디카페인 제품 기준에 충족하였다. 또한, 총 카페인 함량의 허용오차인 120%를 초과하지 않아 관리가 잘 이루어지고 있음을 확인하였다. This study monitored the caffeine content of ready-to-drink coffee and verified the appropriateness of the labeling. The caffeine content was analyzed using HPLC. The average caffeine content of cold brew coffee was 0.31-1.04 mg/mL, with an average of 0.55 mg/mL. The average content of product was 147.27 mg/bottle, and taking into account the recommended daily intake, an adult can consume 2.7 bottles. Americano coffee was 0.15-0.38 mg/mL, with an average of 0.28 mg/mL. The average content of product was 110.42 mg/bottle, and considering the recommended daily intake, an adult can consume 3.6 bottles. The caffeine content of decaffeinated cold brew coffee was 5.14 mg/bottle and compared to Americano coffee, more than 95% of the caffeine was removed. In addition, we verified the tolerance level of the total caffeine content in ready-to-drink coffee, and none of them exceeded 120%, signifying that all commercial products were effectively managed.

      • Plasma Membrane-localized Plant Immune Receptor Targets H<SUP>+</SUP>-ATPase for Membrane Depolarization to Cell Death

        Hypersensitive response (HR) is a robust immune response mediated by nucleotide-binding, leucine-rich repeat receptors (NLRs). However, the early molecular event that links activated NLRs to cell death is unclear. Here, we demonstrate that NLRs target plasma membrane H<SUP>+</SUP>-ATPases (PMAs) that generate electrochemical potential, an essential component of living cells, across the plasma membrane. CC<SUP>A</SUP>309, an autoactive N-terminal domain of a coiled-coil NLR (CNL), associates with PMAs. Silencing or overexpression of PMAs reversibly affects cell death induced by CC<SUP>A</SUP>309. CC<SUP>A</SUP>309-induced apoplast alkalization causes plasma membrane depolarization, followed by cell death. Co-immunoprecipitation analyses suggest that CC<SUP>A</SUP>309 inhibits PMA activation by pre-occupying the dephosphorylated penultimate threonine residue of PMA. Moreover, pharmacological experiments using fusicoccin, an irreversible PMA activator, showed that inhibition of PMAs contributes to CNL-type (but not TNL-type) resistance proteins-induced cell death. We suggest PMAs as primary targets of plasma membrane-associated CNLs leading to HR-associated cell death by disturbing the electrochemical gradient across the membrane. These results provide new insight into NLR-mediated cell death in plants.

        융합적 관점에서 접근한 클로드 모네 작품의 하위 무게 중심 유형 분석 - 건초더미 연작, 루앙대성당 연작, 수련 연작을 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 미술사와 공학이 융합된 정량적 예술작품분석에 대한 가능성으로부터 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 하위 무게 중심 유형 분석(Barycenter Pattern Analysis)을 통해 정량적으로 모네의 연작에 대한 분석을 실행하고, 그 데이터를 시각화하는데 있다. 연구 결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다: 세 가지의 연작에서 작품의 제작 시간과 계절, 즉 빛의 변화에 따라 명도와 채도의 중심점 위치와 분포가 상이하게 나타났다. 건초더미의 경우, 대상의 배치에 따라 명도의 분포가 달라졌으며, ‘루앙대성당’의 경우에는 명도와 채도의 중심점 분포 변화에 대한 빛과 날씨의 영향력이 입증되었다. 특히 ‘수련’의 경우에는 명도와 채도의 분포에서 백내장으로 인한 시력의 영향력이 드러났다. 예를 들면, 백내장을 진단받기 전의 작품에서는 명도와 채도의 분포가 일정한 양식을 보였다. 반면, 진단을 받은 이후에는 명도나 채도의 분포가 더욱 응집되거나 더욱 산개되는 불규칙한 특징 나타났다. 본 연구는 정성적인 방법으로는 발견되지 못했던 화가의 양식 변화나 화가의 개인적 영향력 등을 명도와 채도의 무게 중심 유형 분석을 통해 발견할 수 있다는 가능성을 입증해 주었다는데 그 의의를 둘 수 있다. 다양한 공학적 접근이 미술사 연구방법론과 융합되면서, 향후 정량적 연구방법론은 예술작품간 관계성 및 위작 판별 등으로 그 응용이 확대될 것으로 전망된다. This study starts with the possibility of a quantitative analysis of artworks through the convergent of art history and technology. The purpose of this study is to computationally analyze the distribution of brightness and saturation of Monet’s series through the Barycenter Pattern Analysis and to visualize the data. The results are as follows: In the three series, the positions of center point and the distribution of Barycenter Pattern of brightness and saturation differ depending upon the production time and season of the artworks (i.e. the change of light). In the case of ‘Wheatstacks,’ the distributions of brightness are affected by the arrangement of the subject, and the influences of light and weather on the distribution of the central point of brightness and saturation are presented in a certain pattern in the series of ‘Rouen Cathedral.’ In particular, in the case of ‘Water Liles’ series, several irregular patterns are revealed in the distribution of the Barycenter of brightness and saturation due to the the worsening of cataract problems. For example, the distribution of brightness and saturation in the artworks which were produced before the diagnosis of cataract reveals a certain pattern. On the other hands, the distribution of brightness or saturation in the artworks which were produced after the diagnosis of cataract becomes more irregular. The significance of this study is to prove the possibility of discovering the painter’s style change or the painter’s personal influence, which cannot be discovered by a qualitative method, through the Barycenter Pattern Analysis. As various technological approaches are converged with art research methodologies, we expect that the applications of quantitative methodologies can be expanded to illuminate the relevance between works of art and to identify art forgeries.

      • 조도와 동공 영역의 측정 변화에 따른 굴절력과 수차의 비교

        Purpose. We compared with the refracting power and aberration according to the measurement change in illumination and the pupils area by using the auto refraction instruments. Methods. In this study it were examined 64 eyes without eye disease, 21.4 (${\pm}2.54$) age, 32 (male 10, female 22) patients. Experiments in general illumination using the auto refraction instruments (HRK-8000A, Huvitz, Korea) was measured in both eyes 3 times and after scotopic for 30 minutes in a dark room blocked the light was measured in the same way. Aberration were measured coma, spherical aberration, high and low order aberrations in a general illumination (3500 lux) and low illumination (5 lux) of the pupil area 3.96 mm and 5.96 mm. Results. In the general illumination for measuring of the pupil area, the refractive power, coma, spherical aberration and low order aberration was no significant difference. In the low illumination, spherical aberration of the pupil area was $0.005({\pm}0.015){\mu}m$ in a 3.96mm, $0.014({\pm}0.020){\mu}m$ in a 5.96 mm and appeared a significant difference(p = 0.003). In general and low illumination on the results of comparing the measured values of the refractive power and aberration at the pupil area 3.96 mm, high order aberrations was $0.205({\pm}0.145){\mu}m$ in general illumination, $0.132({\pm}0.075){\mu}m$ in low illumination and appeared a significant differences(p = 0.001). High order aberrations at the pupil area 5.96 mm was $0.278({\pm}0.244){\mu}m$ in general illumination, $0.150({\pm}0.092){\mu}m$ in low illumination and appeared a significant differences(p = 0.000). Conclusions. When the eye refractive power measured by the automatic refraction does not depend on the illumination conditions and size of the observation pupil area, it was found that aberrations are affected by the illumination and the observation pupil area. It was found that the eye examination chamber illumination to obtain accurate measurement produces better results to decrease than to increase.
