      • Visual Analysis of the Frontiers and Evolution of Research on Play-based Curriculum in Chinese Kindergartens

        Kindergarten play-based curriculum is a process that regards the play as curriculum contents and make them run through all of curriculum implementation. This research is to regard 448 literatures from journal published in 1995 to 2023 in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI, www.cnki.net). Through the visual analysis of kindergarten play-based curriculum research literature through ‘Information Visualization-CiteSpace’, it is possible to grasp the research status, research hotspots and research trend in this field. The research result shows that between researchers are short of academic exchange and cooperation and the way of research is mainly quantitative research but qualitative research is not enough. Actually, the hot points of research are paid attention to these fields: kindergarten, folk play, play, kindergarten play-based curriculum and play spirit. The trends of research are as follows in these fields: play, folk play, playfication, integrated curriculum and curriculum reform and so on. Current study analyses the evolution process of kindergarten play-based curriculum and the hot point and trend of future development, also provide more intuitive and complete data for the later research.

        Bibliographic Analysis of Research Trends of the Play-oriented Curriculum in Chinese Kindergartens

        유치원 놀이중심 교육과정은 유아의 발달 단계와 특성을 고려하여 놀이를 핵심내용으로 하여 교육과정 전체의 시행과정을 통해 이를 통합하는 과정이다. 본 연구는 중국 국가지식인프라(www.cnki.net )를 통해 1995년부터 2023년까지 중국에서 발간된 학술지의 문헌자료 448개를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구에서 ‘정보 시각화-사이트스페이스’를 활용해 유치원 놀이기반 교육과정 연구 문헌을 시각적으로 분석함으로써 이 분야의 연구 현황과 핫스팟(hotspot), 동향 등을 파악하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: 연구자간의 학술적 교류와 협력이 부족하고, 연구 접근방식은 양적 연구에 주로 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 질적 연구는 충분하지 않음을 보여준다. 연구의 주제는 유치원, 민속놀이, 놀이, 유치원 놀이기반 교육과정, 놀이정신 등의 분야에 집중되어 있다. 이들 분야의 연구 동향으로는 놀이, 민속놀이, 놀이화(化) 통합교육과정, 교육과정 개혁 등이 있다. 본 연구는 유치원 놀이기반 교육과정의 발전과정과 핫스팟을 파악하고, 향후 발전 방향을 예측하였으며, 마지막으로 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다. The kindergarten play-oriented curriculum is a process of integrating play into the entire curriculum as the core content in consideration of the development stages and characteristics of infants. This study aimed to analyze 448 literature sources from journals published in China between 1995 and 2023, accessed through the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (www.cnki.net). Visually analyzing kindergarten play-based curriculum literature using “Information Visualization- CiteSpace”, helps to understand the research status, hotspots, and trends in this field. The research findings indicate that there is a lack of academic exchange and cooperation among researchers, and the research approach primarily focuses on quantitative research while lacking sufficient qualitative research. The hot topics of research are focused on areas such as kindergarten, folk play, play, kindergarten play-based curriculum, and play spirit. The research trends in these fields include play, folk play, playfication, integrated curriculum, and curriculum reform, among others. This study analyzed the development process of the kindergarten play-based curriculum, identified current hot topics, predicted future development directions, and finally presented suggestions for follow-up research.

        Appraisal of Guidelines for the Management of Blood Pressure in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus: The Consensuses, Controversies and Gaps

        Background: Currently available guidelines contain conflicting recommendations on the management of blood pressure (BP) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Therefore, it is necessary to appraise the guidelines and summarize the agreements and differences among recommendations.Methods: Four databases and the websites of guideline organizations were searched for guidelines regarding BP targets and thresholds for pharmacologic therapy in DM patients, and the included guidelines were appraised with the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE) II instrument.Results: In 6,498 records identified, 20 guidelines met our inclusion criteria with 64.0% AGREE II scores (interquartile range, 48.5% to 72.0%). The scores of the European and American guidelines were superior to those of the Asian guidelines (both adjusted P<0.001). Most of the guidelines advocated systolic BP targets <130 mm Hg (12 guidelines, 60%) and diastolic BP targets <80 mm Hg (14 guidelines, 70%) in DM patients. Approximately half of the guidelines supported systolic BP thresholds >140 mm Hg (10 guidelines, 50%) and diastolic BP thresholds >90 mm Hg (nine guidelines, 45%). The tiny minority of the guidelines provided the relevant recommendations regarding the lower limit of official BP targets and the ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM)/home BP monitoring (HBPM) targets and thresholds in DM patients.Conclusion: The lower official BP targets (<130/80 mm Hg) in patients with DM are advocated by most of the guidelines, but they contain conflicting recommendations on the official BP thresholds. Moreover, the gaps regarding the lower limit of official BP targets and the ABPM/HBPM targets and thresholds need to be considered by future study.
