Study on the Effect of Gas-Liquid Two-Phase Medium on PAT Performance
Shi Fengxia,Yang Junhu,Wang Xiaohui,Miao Senchun,Guo Rui 한국유체기계학회 2021 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.14 No.3
A pump as turbine is optimized firstly, then the distribution of gas, the vortex structure evolution, the force characteristic and energy conversion characteristic are analyzed under pure liquid and gas-liquid two-phase conditions. The result manifests that because of the existence of gas, the pressure gradient decreased and the normal flow of high-pressure fluid in the turbine is inhibited by gas. The radial force vector, the time domain value and the main frequency amplitude are all smaller than that of pure liquid condition, and hydraulic vibration is more likely to be caused by the flow uncertainty of gas. The energy conversion performance of the unit is worse.
Effect of Different Guide Vane Numbers on Transient Radial Force of Pump as Turbine
Shi, FengXia,Yang, JunHu,Wang, XiaoHui Korean Society for Fluid machinery 2018 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.11 No.1
Guide vane was added to pump as turbine (PAT), the transient flow characteristics of PAT were calculated and experimented under different guide vane numbers. The results show that after the PAT was added guide vane, the distribution of speed streamline and blade load is more uniform than before, and the unsteady radial force on impeller decreased greatly, which is good for the stability of PAT's operation. When the guide vane number is equal to 9, both the maximum radial force difference and dominant frequency amplitude of radial force are the minimum. So there is an optimal guide vane number, for the given geometric parameters of PAT.

For the first time, biosorption of lead(II) using a PAHs-degrading bacterium, Herbaspirillum chlorophenolicum FA1, was investigated as a function of initial lead concentration, biomass dosage, pH, and temperature in batch conditions. Results showed that FA1 was highly resistant to lead and grew well even at lead concentration of 200 mg L−1. The kinetic and isotherm data were well described by commonly used models, such as the pseudo-second-order and Langmuir models. Adsorption thermodynamics was spontaneous and endothermic, and FA1 exhibited a high sorption capacity of 151.52 mg g−1. SEM-EDS and FTIR analysis was conducted to further explore the interaction mechanisms.

Shi, FengXia,Yang, JunHu,Wang, XiaoHui Korean Society for Fluid machinery 2016 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.9 No.3
An unsteady three-dimensional simulation based on Reynolds time-averaged governing equation and RNG $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model, was presented for pump-as-turbine, the pressure fluctuation characteristic of hydraulic turbine with guide vane was obtained. The results show that the time domains of pressure fluctuation in volute change periodically and have identical cycles. In volute tongue and inlet pressure fluctuations are light, while in dynamic and static coupling interface pressure fluctuations are serious; In impeller blade region the pressure fluctuation of pressure surface are lighter than that of suction surface. The dominant frequencies of pressure fluctuation concentrate in low frequency region, and concentrate within 2 times of the blade passing frequency.

Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) method is widely used to detect the incipient fault of power transformers. This paper presents a novel DGA method for power transformer fault diagnosis based on Harris-Hawks-optimization (HHO) algorithm optimized kernel extreme learning machine (KELM). The non-code ratios of the gases are used as the characterizing vector for the KELM model, and the Harris-Hawks-optimization (HHO) algorithm is introduced to optimize the KELM parameters, which promotes the fault diagnostic performance of KELM. Based on dataset collected from IEC TC 10, the fault diagnosis capability of the proposed method is validated by different characterizing vectors and is compared with conventional KELM and other optimized KELM. Moreover, the generalization ability of the proposed method is confirmed by China DGA data. The results demonstrate that the proposed method is superior to other methods and is more effective and stable for power transformer fault diagnosis with high accuracy.

Analysis and design of an axial piston water-pump with piston valve
Luo Xiaohui,Niu Zihua,Shi Zhaocun,Hu Junhua 대한기계학회 2011 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.25 No.2
In this paper, we present a novel axial piston water-pump with piston valve, which carries out the flow distribution to drain and sucks water by the interaction of each piston. This novel water-pump could achieve change in-phase between flow rate and the passage areas of the intake and outlet ports. In order to completely achieve the in-phase change, the pressure that is assigned a fixed value in the piston chamber is optimized. On these grounds, the optimum shapes of the intake and outlet ports have been found to be rectangular according to theoretical analysis. The simulation results indicated that the optimum intake and outlet port shapes keeps the pressure in the piston chamber constant, and there is almost no pressure surge except for a very small pressure wave in the piston chamber. Finally, the test of model machine showed that the pressures of the intake and outlet port are very steady, but the leakage is large and the volumetric efficiency is 74.7%.

Background: Porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) is an important infectious pathogen implicated in porcine circovirus-associated diseases (PCVAD), which has caused significant economic losses in the pig industry worldwide. Objectives: A suitable viral vector-mediated gene transfer platform for the expression of the capsid protein (Cap) is an attractive strategy. Methods: In the present study, a recombinant adeno-associated virus 8 (rAAV8) vector was constructed to encode Cap (Cap-rAAV) in vitro and in vivo after gene transfer. Results: The obtained results showed that Cap could be expressed in HEK293T cells and BABL/c mice. The results of lymphocytes proliferative, as well as immunoglobulin G (IgG) 2a and interferon-γ showed strong cellular immune responses induced by Cap-rAAV. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay titers obtained and the IgG1 and interleukin-4 levels showed that humoral immune responses were also induced by Cap-rAAV. Altogether, these results demonstrated that the rAAV8 vaccine Cap-rAAV can induce strong cellular and humoral immune responses, indicating a potential rAAV8 vaccine against PCV2. Conclusions: The injection of rAAV8 encoding PCV2 Cap genes into muscle tissue can ensure long-term, continuous, and systemic expression.

Salicylhydroxamic acid (SHA), functionalized composite chelating adsorbing material SHA-PHEMA/SiO2, was prepared through the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 5-chloromethyl-salicylhydroxamic acid with poly (2- hydroethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) modified silica gel particles PHEMA/SiO2. The SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 composites were characterized by FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and nitrogen absorption. The adsorption behavior, adsorption thermodynamic, and adsorption mechanism of SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 for Pb2+ ions were studied, and the pH value of the medium on the adsorption property and chelating adsorption ability of SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 for Pb2+ ions was also investigated. The experimental results show that SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 possesses strong chelating adsorption ability for Pb2+ ions, and the adsorption capacity for Pb2+ ions at 308K reached 57 mg/g. The adsorption process is a chemical adsorption process driven by entropy, and the adsorption capacity increases with rising temperature. In pH range that can inhibit the hydrolysis of heavy metal ions, increasing the pH value of the medium strengthens the adsorption ability of SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 toward Pb2+ ions. The adsorption behavior is monomolecular and follows Langmuir isotherm. The adsorption capacity is almost the same after ten consecutive adsorption- desorption experiments of SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 for Pb2+ ions, indicating that SHA-PHEMA/SiO2 has excellent elution property and reusability.
