      • The Design and Reliability Analysis of Elevator Monitoring System Based on the Internet of Things

        In order to solve the problems of high cost, complicated wiring and inconvenient operation of the elevator monitoring system, this paper designs an elevator safety monitoring system based on Internet of things technologies. In this system, the CC2530 acts as a processor and communication module, the DHT11 as a temperature and humidity sensor module, and the ADXL345 as an accelerometer sensor module. The power supply module uses the chip LM2576S to provide 3V and 3.3V voltage. The fault tree analysis method is employed to analyze the reliability of the system designed in this paper. The data acquisition module, power supply module and MCU I/O port are given relatively large weight, which demonstrates that they are more likely to cause system failure. In this paper, the environmental parameters of elevator in a certain residential area are tested. According to the test results, the average relative errors of temperature, air humidity and velocity are 0.47%, 1.40% and 1.36%, respectively. The experimental results show that this easy-to-operate system can monitor the environmental parameters of the elevator with high precision, and can achieve the real-time monitoring on the running state of the elevator.

        Micro-XCT Characterization and Numerical Analysis of Bending Damage Mechanism in Carbon Fiber Plain, Twill and Winding Composite Tubes

        Transverse bending damage morphologies of carbon fiber composite tubes with different ply structures wereinvestigated by the micro-XCT characterization. Structural effects of the plain, twill and winding on the damage mechanismwere analyzed. The experimental results present fiber-resin cracking, interlayer delamination and fiber tows breakage withstructural deformation from the peak load to final catastrophic failure. Woven fabric plies in the plain and twill compositetubes cannot be effectively slipped because of their tight interlaced structures, which makes the load propagate along the warpand weft fiber tows, resulting in more fiber tows breakage under bending-induced stretching. There is no interlaced effect onthe failure mechanism for the winding tubes, resulting in a fact that the bending load can only be transferred from the fiberresinor the layer-to-layer interface, with more interlaminar slippage and obvious springback behaviors under in-plane shear. For investigating the interlaced effect on failure mechanism, plain and winding models under transverse bending wereestablished using continuous shell elements, and different constitutive description were used to simulate interlayer failure andintra-layer failure behaviors. By comparing the numerical results with the experimental ones, the influence of the fabricstructure on the failure behavior of the tube were analyzed.

        Drift error compensation for vision-based bridge deflection monitoring

        Recently, an advanced video deflectometer based on the principle of off-axis digital image correlation was presented and advocated for remote and real-time deflection monitoring of large engineering structures. In engineering practice, measurement accuracy is one of the most important technical indicators of the video deflectometer. However, it has been observed in many outdoor experiments that data drift often presents in the measured deflection-time curves, which is caused by the instability of imaging system and the unavoidable influences of ambient interferences (e.g., ambient light changes, ambient temperature variations as well as ambient vibrations) in non-laboratory conditions. The non-ideal unstable imaging conditions seriously deteriorate the measurement accuracy of the video deflectometer. In this work, to perform high-accuracy deflection monitoring, potential sources for the drift error are analyzed, and a drift error model is established by considering these error sources. Based on this model, a simple, easy-to-implement yet effective reference point compensation method is proposed for real-time removal of the drift error in measured deflections. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method are demonstrated by in-situ deflection monitoring of railway and highway bridges.

        Salt template-assisted construction of three-dimensional interconnected network in thermally conductive EP/PVDF/NiCo@GNP composites

        In this study, graphene nanoplatelets (GNP) and nickel–cobalt (NiCo) alloy were adopted as reinforcingmaterials to prepare epoxy (EP) resin-based composites. NiCo particles were able to achieve uniformanchoring on GNPs’ surface under the electrostatic force due to the successful introduction of oxygendefects on GNPs. With the synergistic effect of adhesive PVDF and salt particles, the system with threedimensionally(3D) interconnected network was successfully constructed. Benefit from the formation ofmechanically stable and efficient heat conduction paths, the thermal conductivity (TC) of the EP/PVDF/NiCo@GNP composite reached 1.077 Wm1K1 at a filler volume fraction of 6.82 vol%, while the counterpart’sstoragemodulus (E’) was up to 3.22 GPa. In addition, a scaling formula was quantitatively proposed tocorrelate TC with E’, and the perfect agreement between the theoretical prediction and experimental dataclarified the underlying mechanism of the relationship between phonons transport and stress transferwithin a systemwith 3D ordered structures. The establishment of relationship between AHR (average heatingrate) and TC made it possible to further predict TC of composites based upon the infrared thermal imaging(ITI) data. The as-prepared GNP composites show good application prospects as thermal managementmaterials which need to experience thermally mechanical deformation.

        Research on flexible job-shop scheduling problem based on a modified genetic algorithm

        Aiming at the existing problems with GA (genetic algorithm) for solving a flexible job-shop scheduling problem (FJSP), such as description model disunity, complicated coding and decoding methods, a FJSP solution method based on GA is proposed in this paper, and job-shop scheduling problem (JSP) with partial flexibility and JIT (just-in-time) request is transformed into a general FJSP. Moreover, a unified mathematical model is given. Through the improvement of coding rules, decoding algorithm, crossover and mutation operators,the modified GA’s convergence and search efficiency have been enhanced. The example analysis proves the proposed methods can make FJSP converge to the optimal solution steadily, exactly, and efficiently.

        The anti-tumor efficacy of 20(S)-protopanaxadiol, an active metabolite of ginseng, according to fasting on hepatocellular carcinoma

        Background: 20(S)-protopanaxadiol (20(S)-PPD), one of the main active metabolites of ginseng, performs a broad spectrum of anti-tumor effects. Our aims are to search out new strategies to enhance anti-tumor effects of natural products, including 20(S)-PPD. In recent years, fasting has been shown to be multifunctional on tumor progression. Here, the effects of fasting combined with 20(S)-PPD on hepatocellular carcinoma growth, apoptosis, migration, invasion and cell cycle were explored. Methods: CCK-8 assay, trypan blue dye exclusion test, imagings photographed by HoloMonitorTM M4, transwell assay and flow cytometry assay were performed for functional analyses on cell proliferation, morphology, migration, invasion, apoptosis, necrosis and cell cycle. The expressions of genes on protein levels were tested by western blot. Tumor-bearing mice were used to evaluate the effects of intermittent fasting combined with 20(S)-PPD. Results: We firstly confirmed that fasting-mimicking increased the anti-proliferation effect of 20(S)-PPD in human HepG2 cells in vitro. In fasting-mimicking culturing medium, the apoptosis and necrosis induced by 20(S)-PPD increased and more cells were arrested at G0-G1 phase. Meanwhile, invasion and migration of cells were decreased by down-regulating the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 and MMP-9 in fasting-mimicking medium. Furthermore, the in vivo study confirmed that intermittent fasting enhanced the tumor growth inhibition of 20(S)-PPD in H22 tumor-bearing mice without obvious side effects. Conclusion: Fasting significantly sensitized HCC cells to 20(S)-PPD in vivo and in vitro. These data indicated that dietary restriction can be one of the potential strategies of chinese medicine or its active metabolites against hepatocellular carcinoma.

        Study on Microbial Community Succession and Protein Hydrolysis of Donkey Meat during Refrigerated Storage Based on Illumina NOVA Sequencing Technology

        In this study, the microbial community succession and the protein hydrolysis of donkey meat during refrigerated (4℃) storage were investigated. 16S rDNA sequencing method was used to analyze the bacteria community structure and succession in the level of genome. Meanwhile, the volatile base nitrogen (TVB-N) was measured to evaluate the degradation level of protein. After sorting out the sequencing results, 1,274,604 clean data were obtained, which were clustered into 2,064 into operational taxonomic units (OTUs), annotated to 32 phyla and 527 genus. With the prolonging of storage time, the composition of microorganism changed greatly. At the same time, the diversity and richness of microorganism decreased and then increased. During the whole storage period, Proteobacteria was the dominant phyla, and the Photobacterium, Pseudompnas, and Acinetobacter were the dominant genus. According to correlation analysis, it was found that the abundance of these dominant bacteria was significantly positively correlated with the variation of TVB-N. And Pseudomonas might play an important role in the production of TVB-N during refrigerated storage of donkey meat. The predicted metabolic pathways, based on PICRUSt analysis, indicated that amino metabolism in refrigerated donkey meat was the main metabolic pathways. This study provides insight into the process involved in refrigerated donkey meat spoilage, which provides a foundation for the development of antibacterial preservative for donkey meat.

        Diphenyl derivatives from coastal saline soil fungus Aspergillus iizukae

        Two new diphenyl derivatives, named iizukinesA (1) and B (2), along with nine known compounds wereisolated from coastal saline soil derived fungus Aspergillusiizukae. The structures were determined by extensivespectroscopic analysis. Their cytotoxicities were preliminarilyevaluated on HL-60, BEL-7402 and A-549 cell linesby the MTT assay.
