        The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics, change in physique and physical function of college students majoring physical education and Taekwondo (454 males and 64 females of age groups ranging from 18 to 26). The results are as following: 1. The male group of 23yrs old in physical education showed highest values in 7 items(Weight, Chest Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness and Suprailiac Skinfold Thickness). 2. In the Physical function, the male group of 18yrs old showed highest values in Power, Flexibility, and then 21yrs old at Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and 23yrs old at Grip Strength, and 25yrs old at Blood Pressure, respectively. 3. In the physique, the male group of 22yrs old showed highest values in Weight, Chest Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, and then 24yrs old Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, and 19yrs old at Height, Upper Limb Length, respectively. 4. In Physical Function, the 22yrs old showed highest values in Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and then 23yrs old at Side Step, Trunk Extension, but 18yrs old showed lower Values in Grip Strength, Side Step, Vital Capacity and Blood Pressure. 5. The female group of 22yrs old showed highest values in 8 items(Height, Sitting Height, Waist Girth, Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length, Skinfold Thickness), and then 18yrs old at 5 items (Weight, Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth), respectively. 6. In the physical function, the 22yrs old showed highest Values in Grip strength, Back Strength, Power, 5 Minute Run, and 18yrs old at flexibility, Harvard Step Test, respectively. 7. In the change of the physique for two years(1988-1989) in the male group, majoring Physical education the 22yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 20yrs old in 3 items, but 18yrs old showed decrease in 3 items. 8. In the change of the physical function for two years in the male group, the 20yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 21, 25, 26yrs old in 3 items, but the 19yrs old showed decrease in 6 items, and 18, 22 yrs old in 5 items, respectively. 9. The change of the physique for two years in all female group, of 18, 19, 20, 21yrs old showed increase in 11 items except Skinfold Thickness. 10. In the change of physical function for two years in female group, the 18yrs old showed increase in 3 items, and then 20yrs old in 5 items, but 19, 22yrs old decreased 12 items, respectively. 11. The highest significant difference in physique between male and female was found in weight(mean Value 17.5%), and the lowest difference was found Thigh Girth, Calf Girth(1,3%), Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length(2.5%). 12. The Highest difference in physical function was Strength (mean Value 40%), Vital Capacity (33%), Power(22%), but Lower Trunk Flexion, Foot Balance(3.4%). 13. In the difference of Physique and physical function between physical education major and taekwondo major, the physical education showed higher values in skinfold Thickines (mean Value 16.5%), Weight, Waist Girth(4.7%) and Strength(33%), Endurance(5.6%), but subjects majoring Taekwondo showed higher values in Flexibility and Foot Balance. 14. In all male groups, Waist Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness, Back Strength, Sargent Jump, Trunk Extension and Diastolic Blood Pressure were showed a significantly related at 0.001 level.

        The purpose of this study was to compare the characterists and change in physique and physical function by college student of physical education major(287males and 40 females of age groups ranging from 18 to 26). The results were as following; 1) The characteristics of physique and physical function by sex and age. ① The male group of 18yrs old showed higher values in Height, Weight, Upper Limb Length, Strength, Flexibility, and Vital Capacity than any other groups, but female group showed lower values in Height, Weight, Chest Girth, Lower Limb Length, Thigh, Girth, Calf Girth and all of the Physical function. ② The male group of 19yrs old showed high values in power and Agility, then female group showed in Strength and Flexibility. ③ The male group of 20yrs old showed the lower values in Weight, Waist Girth, Upper Limb Length, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girh.Calf Girth, Vital Capacity, and female group are very lowed in Upper Arm Lenght, Fore Arm Length, Skin Fold Thickness and 5 minute Run. ④ The male group of 23yrs old showed the high values in Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth and Balance, and then female group higher in Weight, Chest Girth, Waist Girth, Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Power, Shuttle Run, Balance and vital capacity than any other age Groups. ⑤ In male group, Chest Girth, and Blood Pressure were significantly related, and Side Step and Trunk Extension were nagatively related to the age at 0.1% level, and then in female group, Sargent Jump, Standing Long Jump and Vital Capacity were showed a significantly related at 0.5% level. 2) The difference of physique and physical function between male and female by age. ① Everage difference in whole physique items except skinfold thickness was 9.8%, and that 21.1% in all of physical function except Trunk Flextion between male and female group subjects. ② About the ages, the 18yrs old male group showed the 22.8% higher values of 26 items, but 22yrs old male group were about 12.2% in 23 items, thus it is very lower than any other groups. 3) The difference of physique and physical function between General group and physical education group in age-matched. ① In the physique male physical education groups showed about 7% higher in Weight, Chest Girth, Upper Limb Length, Upper Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, and female group showed about 7% higher in Weight and Upper Limb Length. ② In the physical function, Trunk Flextion, 5 minute Run, and Blood Pressure(Diastolic) were about 8% high values in whole group, and female group showed about 8% higher in Standing Long Jump, Shuttle Run, and Trunk Extension. ③ In 22yrs old male and female physical education group were very dominated in physique and physical function than the other age group against the general group.

        한국 된장에서 Equol의 검출 및 미생물 동정

        Equol has beneficial effects on human health. Fermented soy products contain equol, and many microbes participate in the equol production process. This study investigated fermented Korean soybean paste, doenjang. Thirty seven doenjang samples collected from different manufacturers were examined. Equol was detected in 3 samples (D2, D13, and D19) at the maximum content of 507 ng/100 g by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Fifteen microbial species were isolated and identified by 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis and by matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). Bacillus spp, Paenibacillus spp, Tetragenococcus spp, Stapylococcus spp, and Clostridium species were the predominant bacteria in equol containing doenjang samples.

        Macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) is a severe complication in patients with autoimmune disease. We should consider MAS in patients with autoimmune disease, who present with newly developed fever, and MAS needs proper management due to grave outcome. We report a case of MAS in a 15-year-old adolescent girl, who was newly diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus 1 month before the diagnosis of MAS. Her MAS was improved by intensive treatment, including etoposide.

        It is important to design photobioreactor by cheap material for economical microalgal biomass production. In this study, two types of marine photobioreactors (MPBR), made by either polyvinyl chloride (MPBR-PVC) or high density poly ethylene (MPBR-HDPE), are used and performance of these were compared. Tetraselmis sp. KCTC 12236BP is a green marine alga that isolated from Ganghwa Island, Korea, and the strain was used for marine cultivations using MPBR-PVC and MPBR-HDPE. The cultivations were performed three times in the spring season of 2012 using MPBR-PVC and of 2013 using MPBR-HDPE in the coastal area of Young Heung Island. As the results, MPBR-PVC shows higher biomass productivities than MPBR-HDPE, due to its high light transmittance. In the cultivations using MPBR-PVC, the average sea water temperature was 11.5°C during the first experiment and 16.5°C during the second and third experiments. Average light intensities during three times for experiments were 407.5, 268.1 and 273.0 μ·E·m<SUP>-2</SUP>·s<SUP>-1</SUP>, respectively. The maximum fresh cell weight and average biomass productivity were 1.2 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP> and 0.12 g·L<SUP>-1</SUP>·day<SUP>-1</SUP>. These results showed that Tetraselmis sp. KCTC12236BP were adapted well with the environmental conditions from ocean, and grow in the MPBR-PVC and MPBR-HDPE.

      • Magnetic Field Stability Analysis on No-Insulation and Turn-to-Turn Soldered HTS Magnets Under Sinusoidal Noise Operation

        <P>The field stability of a no-insulation and a turn-to-turn soldered high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet is analyzed under sinusoidal noise operation. The stability of the magnetic field is a critical factor for some applications such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer. The no-insulation and turn-to-turn soldered HTS magnets have intrinsic residual resistance which acts like a low-pass filter attached to the main magnet. The intrinsic low-pass filter can improve the time stability of the magnetic field by reducing ac noises generated by the power supply. In this paper, the improved field stability is analyzed with a no-insulation and a turn-to-turn soldered HTS magnet sample. The sample magnets are operated under sinusoidal power supply noise. Qualitative analysis is conducted by simulating the virtual NMR lineshapes based on the field mapping results obtained during sample magnet operation. Both the no-insulation and turn-to-turn soldered magnets demonstrated improved field stability, but the field stability in the turn-to-turn soldered case is greater.</P>

        Effects of Customer Value Proposals on the Service Trade Repurchase Intentions of Sharing-Economy Users

        Purpose - This paper finds the repurchase intentions of customers in a sharing economy via Airbnb and Uber, which are classic sharing-economy service businesses. Design/methodology - This paper analyzes sharing economy effects using variables in a structural equation model. Findings - We verified that values have a significant effect on the trust in a platform. We also verified that the effects that value propositions have on repurchase intention are significant. Research Limitations/Implications - First, there may be some distinction between men and women with regard to divided trust. Second, if commitment is divided into commitment to the host and commitment to the platform, as is the case for trust, the results will not be as expected. Third, if results could be categorized by nationality after gathering more samples, each nationality might have different opinions about these factors. Finally, the sharing economy can be identified and analyzed for various industries, such as space, transportation, and service. At this point, it is inconvenient to not have more implications. Originality/value - This study focuses on the repurchase intentions of customers. Unlike earlier studies, it is meaningful that trust is divided between the host and the platform, and that it can be analyzed. It is also important to establish the relationship between trust and commitment, and the relationship toward repurchasing in the shared-economy.

        Analysis and Design of Modified Half-Bridge Series-Resonant Inverter With DC-Link Neutral-Point-Clamped Cell

        <P>In this paper, a modified half-bridge (HB) resonant inverter topology with a dc-link neutral-point-clamped cell is proposed. A pseudo asymmetrical voltage-cancellation PWM method and a control strategy are introduced. The proposed topology can maximize the inverter output power factor, and minimize variations in the switching frequency. In addition, most switches are clamped to half of the dc input voltage at turn-off, increasing the overall efficiency of the system for a wide load range. The efficiency of the proposed inverter is improved up to 7% at light-load conditions compared with that of the conventional HB inverter. Informative expressions for performance comparison between the proposed inverter and its counterpart are provided. In addition, the losses in the inverter primary components are analytically analyzed in detail. For validation, a 120-W prototype is implemented, and experimental results are presented.</P>

        A Study on the Effects of Capital Inflow on Economic Growth - Focusing on Latin America -

        현재 라틴아메리카 지역은 해외로부터의 자금의 유입이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 자 금의 유입은 해외직접투자, 공적원조 및 송금 등의 형태로 유입되고 직간접적인 또는 긍정적 인 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 라틴아메리카 지역에서 이러한 자본의 유 입이 경제성장에 어떠한 영향을 줄 것인가에 대한 패널분석을 실시하였다. 분명 이러한 자본 의 유입은 경제수준이 높은 국가와 낮은 국가간의 차이가 있을 것이라고 가정하여 분석을 실 시하였고, 해외직접투자의 경우 두 그룹 모두 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 공적원 조의 경우 소득이 낮은 국가에서 부정적인 효과를 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 송금의 경우에는 높은 소득의 그룹에서 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 공적원조의 경우 해외로 부터의 자금의 유입이 효율적으로 운영되지 못함을 나타내며, 송금의 경우 역시 해외로부터의 송금은 건설적인 곳에 투입되기 보다는 단순한 소비지출에 사용되어 노동시장의 공급을 줄이 는 결과를 가져 오기 때문으로 해석할 수 있다. Purpose : This study aims to analyze the effect on capital such as FDI, ODA and Remittance have been flowing into Latin American countries for a long time. Research design, data, methodology : This study divided the group into Low GDP Group and High GDP Group and conducted a panel analysis Results : According to the analysis, in the case of FDI, both groups have positive effects on economic growth. In the case of remittances, however, the results of Low GDP Group and High GDP Group were different. Conclusions : This can be interpreted as the low GDP group's remittances being invested in more constructive areas such as education and start-ups
