        Biomass, a carbon neutral fuel, is one of the fastest growing renewable energy sources. In this study, economic feasibility of small scale power generation system using syngas from biomass has been investigated. Effects of important variables such as capital investment, cost of waste wood, renewable energy certificate(REC), system marginal price(SMP) on the benefit of business have been analyzed. Internal rate of return(IRR) was predicted as 16.90%, which implicates the business is promising based on the assumptions such as SMP of 137 Won/kWh, capital cost of 4.7 billion won, and waste wood price of 30 thousand won. Major factors affecting the benefit of business are as follows; system marginal price, operational rate, capital investment, expenditure of waste wood, certified emission reduction.

        황기桃紅湯이 Endotoxin으로 유발된 白鼠의 血栓症에 미치는 영향

        연구배경 : 최근의 死亡率중에 腦血管系疾患이 차지하고 있는 比率이 대단히 높기 때문에 氣와 血의 이론적 관계인 "氣爲血之帥, 氣行則血行." 의 관점하에서 腦血管系疾患중의 하나인 血栓病을 동의학적 병리론에 의거하여 "瘀血"의 범주에 속할 것으로 사료되기 때문에 補氣之劑인 황기를 君藥으로하고 活血祛瘀之劑인 桃仁과 紅花를 加하여 실시하기로 하였다. 그리하여 본 연구가 임상에서 血栓症治療에 應用할 수 있는지를 考察하고, 작게는 東醫學 發展의 이론적 뒷받침이 되었으면 하는 바램에서 시행하였다. 방법 : 황기도홍탕이 1첩분량(318.75g)을 100ml로 減壓濃縮하여 0.2mg/kg의 endotoxin을 試料投與 1시간 후에 白鼠의 尾靜脈에 注入하고 4시간이 경과되면 urethane 痲醉下에서 心臟採血 하였다. 결과 : 血小板數와 FDP는 對照群에 비하여 增加 또는 減少되었지만 有意性은 나타내지 않았다. 그러나 prothrombin time과 fibrinogen량은 對照群에 비하여 有意性있게 短縮 또는 增加하였다. 결론 : 황기도홍탕이 endotoxin으로 誘發된 白鼠의 血栓症에 미치는 影響은 有意한 것으로 나타났다. 그렇기 때문에 黃?桃紅湯이 腦血管疾患 뿐만 아니라 瘀血性疾患에 임상적으로 응용하면 보다 높은 치료효과를 거두리라 思料된다 This study was performed to investigate the effect of Whangkidohongtang(황기도홍탕) on the intravascular coagulation induced by endotoxin in rats. The intravascular coagulation was induced by injecting endotoxin in the caudal vein of rats. And these rats were treated with extract of Whangkidohongtang(황기도홍탕)1.0ml/200g (GroupⅠ) and Whangkidohongtang(황기도홍탕) 2.0ml/200g (groupⅡ), which were administered orally. Then, the number of blood cells, platelets, concentration of prothrombin time, fibrinogen and FDP(fibrin-fibrinogen degradation products) were measured. The following results were obtained : 1. The number of platelets increased in the GroupⅡcompared with the control group, but it is not significant. 2. The prothrombin time was shortened significantly in the GroupⅡcompared with the control group. 3. The concentration of fibrinogen increased significantly in the trial group compared with the control group. 4. The degree of concentration of FDP decreased significantly in the trial group compared with the control group, but it is not significantly. According to the above results, it is considered that Whangkidohongtang(황기도홍탕) has the significant effects on thrombosis. Therefore, Whangkidohongtang(황기도홍탕) seems to be applicable to the diseases related to thrombosis.

        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

      • 탄소성 변형을 받는 냉간 압연강의 X선 잔류응력 특성에 관한 연구

        In textured material, diffraction angle 2θ usually shows a nonlinear relation against sin^2Ψ due to elastic anisotropy of crystals. SPHD and SPCD steel is cold-rolled carbon steel for automobile. The characteristics X-ray for stress measurement is Cr K_α and Mo K_α1characteristic X-ray. The sin^2Ψ-2θ diagram under elastic strain seems to have a linear behavior using regression line of data but has a nonlinear behavior in distribution of data by Cr K_αcharacteristic X-ray. As the plastic strain of specimen increases, the nonlinearity of 2θ with respect to sin^2Ψ increases remarkably. On the other hand, the diffraction angle 2 θ by Mo K_α1 characteristic X-ray shows a good linearity on sin^2Ψ-2θ diagram under plastic strain as well as elastic strain. Therefore, This paper presents the measurement of residual stress in cold-rolled carbon steel for automobile using penetration depth of Mo K_α1 charateristic X-ray and multiplicity factor of crystal diffraction plane.

      • Lipopolysaccharide(LPS)가 Lymphokine 생산에 미치는 影響에 관한 연구

        In order to evaluate the effects of LPS on the lymphokine production, the change of the levels of IL-2, γIFN and IL-4 meassured in splenocytes of C3H/HeN mice treated with E.coli LPS, S.abortus equi LPS and heated LPS. The results were as follows; 1. The splenocytes isolated from LPS-injected mice produce greatly reduced levels of the T-cell lymphodine IL-2 and γIFN following activation in vitro with the polyclonal T-cell stimulant anti-CD3 and the production of IL-4 elevated in comparison to normal cotrols. 2. The levels of IL-2 and γIFN in the mice were treated with 5μg-LPS for 3 days elevated and IL-4 reduced continuously from one day later and the levels of 3 kinds lymphokine recovered to a normal value 13 days later. 3. The levels of IL-2 and γIFN in the mice were treated with 5μg-LPS for consecutive 2 weeks reduced and IL-4 elevated greatly at 3 days and the levels of 3 kinds lymphokine recovered to normal value 2 weeks later. 4. In the mice were treated with E.coli LPS and S.aboruts equi LPS, the change of the levels of IL-2, γIFN and IL-4 were not difference between E.coli LPS injected group and S.atortus equi infected group. 5. In the mice were treated with normal LPS and heated LPS, the change of the levels of IL-2, γIFN and IL-4 were not difference between normal LPS injected group and heated LPS injected group.

      • 지진하중하의 배관 안정성 평가를 위한 파괴저항 시함에 관한 연구

        This paper presents the experimental results from cyclic displacement -controlled CT specimens fracture experiments. Seismic loading is consisted of dynamic loading and cyclic loading. According to a study by the International Piping Integrity Research (IPIRG) program, previous pioneering works on cyclic loading on CT specimens showed that reverse cyclic loading was affected by the parameters of load velocity, load ratio, and incremental plastic displacement. The objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of reverse cyclic loading on J-R curves in CT specimens. It is found from experiments that two parameters affect the J-R curves during the reverse cyclic loading. They are the minimum-to-maximum load ratio(R) and the incremental plastic displacement(δ_cycle/δ_i), which is related to the amount of crack growth that occurs in a cycle. Fracture resistance test on CT specimens with varying load ratio and incremental plastic displacement were performed and test results showed that the J-R curves were lowered by the decrease in the load ratio and the decrease in the incremental plastic displacement.

        흉부외상 환자에서 응급 전산화 단층촬영의 효용성에 관한 분석

        Background. Trauma is the third leading cause of death, irrespective of age, and the leading cause of death in persons under 40 years of age. Computed tomography(CT) is an effective technique in the initial emergent evaluation of the abdomen and head following blunt trauma. Most chest injuries are not seen on conventional chest radiography, or may be underestimated. But routine use of CT in the initial emergent evaluation of chest trauma is controversial. CT, however, has been shown to be useful in the diagnosis of unsuspected chest injuries and in directing therapeutic interventions. This review discusses the efficacy of emergent CT in patients with blunt trauma on the chest. Methods. To evaluate the efficacy of CT of the thorax, a retrospective study comparing early thoracic CT scanning with initial chest roentgenogram(CXR) was carried out on 121 patients with blunt trauma on the chest. The interval between CXR and CT was less than 1 hour. Results. Among 121 patients, 42 patients had normal initial chest roentgenogram in whom 19 patients showed normal CT findings, Sensitivities of diagnosing pneumothorax and pleural effusion by CXR were low (49.3% and 45.1% respectively), whereas 65.7%(44/67) of patients had thoracostomy only by CXR. Conclusion. Although sometimes abused in patients with chest trauma, CT of the thorax is an effective method of detecting thoracic injuries and provides accurate information regarding their pattern and extent in the initial emergent diagnosis.

        Miniaturization is the central theme in modem fabrication technology. Many of the components used in modern products are becoming smaller and smaller. The direct write FIB technology has several advantages over contemporary micromachining technology, including better feature resolution with low lateral scattering and capability of maskless fabrication. Therefore, the application of focused ion beam(FIB) technology in micro fabricaton has beome increasingly popular. In recent model of FIB, however the feeding system has been a very coarse resolution of about a few μm. It is not unsuitable to the sputtering and the deposition to make the high-precision structure in micro or macro scale. Our research is the development of nano stage of 200mm strokes and 10nm resolutions. Also, this stage should be effectively operating in ultra high vacuum of about 1×10^(-5)pa. This paper presents the concept of nano stages and the discussion of the material treatment for ultra high vacuum.

      • 신경회로망을 이용한 원공 결함 패턴 인식에 관한 연구

        Ultrasonic inspection of defects has been focused on the existence of defect in structural material and need has much time and expenses in inspecting all the coordinates (x, y) on material surface. Neural networks is information processing system modeling human brain and can have an application to coordinates (x, y) of defects by multi-point inspection method. Ultrasonic inspection modeling is optimized by neural networks which makes defect echo, back-wall echo and ultrasonic transducer units of input layer and absolute and relative coordinates of defects and defect pattern units of output layer. This method can predict coordinates (x, y) of defects within engineering estimated mean error Ψ.

      • 草鳥中毒에 關한 綠豆의 解毒效果

        This study was carried out to elucidate the effectiveness of Testa mungo counteracting the poisonous effect of Aconiti Radix and difference in effectiveness between Testa mungo extract and Testa mungo juice. First, Lethal dose 50 of Aconiti Radix for mouse, since then, the difference in effectiveness between Testa mungo extract and Testa mungo juice was observed. Mice were pretreated by dosing half LD 50 of Aconiti Radix in oral administration for histological examination for 7 days and the damage of liver was induced. Among 1 group dosed with Testa mungo extract, Ⅱ group dosed with Testa mungo juice and control group, the difference of counteracting effects of the toxicity of Aconiti Radix were observed histologically. The results were as follows : 1. Lethal dose 50 of Aconiti Radix was 49.8㎎/20g. (confidence limits ; 22.7∼86.2㎎/20g) 2. The counteracting effects for the toxicity of Aconiti Radix LD 50 were seen above 13.3 ㎎/20g in group dosed with Testa mungo extract and above 0.4cc/20g in group dosed with Testa mungo juice. 3. In the histological exainination, the counteracting effects of Testa mungo for the toxicity of Aconiti Radix was seen from 3 days on the liver-damaged mice by the result of being pretreated with Aconiti Radix extract for 7 days. 4. Testa mungo juice was more effective than Teata mungo extract in the counteracting effects for the toxicity of Aconiti Radix.
