        고관절 전치환술에서 하지 길이의 변화(수술전 예상 측정치와 수술후 실제 측정치 사이의 차이에 대하여)

        We reviewed 40 cases of cementless primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) to see the leg length changes after THA and analysed the factors that could affect the discrepancies of preoperative estimation and postoperative measurement. The cases with severe preoperative leg length discrepancy such as untreated CDH were not included in our series. Inserted femoral components were CLS(Protek) or Omnifit(Osteonics) stems. All the acetabular cups were HG g (Zimmer) cups. Preoperatively the acetabular template was mounted on the film and the center of the acetabular cup was marked with pencil. Femoral template was also mounted on the femoral side and the center of the femoral head was marked. The distaoce between the two centers was a basis for preoperative estimation. Postoperatively the leg length change was measured by the change of the distance from interteardrop line to the greater trochanter tip. Leg length change estimated by preoperative templating was 5mm lengthening in average. Postoperative leg length change was 10mm lengthening in average. The discrepancies of pre and postoperative measurement were attributed to following factors. Standardization of taking the X-ray views was an important factor. Magnification, center of X-ray beam and the accurate position of the hip should be considered in taking preoperative X-rays. Templating technique was another factor. Postoperative acetabular center shifted frequently compared with preoperative estimation. Templating does not always tell accurate postoperative leg length change. To minimize the discrepancy of pre and postoperative measurement above factors should be considered in preoperative estimation.

      • 銅鑛의 浮遊性에 關한 基礎的 硏究

        Recovery of copper from converter slag and native copper deposits and its recovery in L.P.F process mainly depend on flotation, whereas native copper is recovered from its deposits by chemical leaching in some cases. To obtain a better understanding of flotation, the floatability of metallic copper was studied. The floatability of copper with oleic acid and xanthate was tested using Hallimond tube in terms of varied concentration of collector, pH, particle size, flotation time, and also oxidizing tempeature of metal surface. The experimental results obtained are summarized as follows. (1) In flotation of copper, oleic acid and xanthate were the effective collectors, and the collecting power of oleic acid was stronger than that of xanthate. (2) In intermediate pH range except strong acid and strong base, pH of pulp did not in fluence on the floatability of copper. (3) The floatability of copper with oxidized surface decreased compared with that of metallic copper.

        The results for a dose calibrator to measure the quantity of radionuclide are as follows; 1. Preciseness ; the value satisfied a permitted limit(±5%). 2. Accuracy ; the value was in the range of the permitted limit that is demanded from the manufacture. It might be because of the radiation that used corrected source of low dose. 3. Reliability ; Though the values for 2 months were in the range of ±5%, 2 days' values were beyond the range of -5%.

        골수구성 백혈병 환자에게 발생한 결핵성 림프절염

        혈액질환 가운데 결핵 발생이 증가한다고 알려진 것은 호지킨 림프종을 포함한 림프증식성질환 그리고 모양세포성 백혈병 등이 있다. 또한 동종 골수이식을 받은 환자에서도 결핵은 증가한다고 알려져있다. Kaplan 등은 골수구성 백혈병 환자에서 결핵 발생이 증가한다고 보고하였다. 그러나 골수구성 백혈병 환자에서 결핵의 발생이 증가하는 이유에 대해서는 아직까지 정확하게 밝혀지지 않았다. 저자들이 2년 동안 후향적으로 조사한 180명의 성인 골수구성 백혈병 환자들 가운데 결핵이 발생한 환자는 4명이었고, 발생 부위는 모두 림프절이었다. 결핵은 골수구성 백혈병의 특정 아형에만 국한되어 발생하지 않았지만, 50%에서 FAB 분류에 의한 M4였다. 림프절이 종대된 골수구성 백혈병 환자에서 특히, 결핵의 유병율이 높은 나라에서는 결핵성 림프절염도 감별진단에 포함시켜야 한다. During the neutropenic phase, leukemia patients receiving chemotherapy are prone to bacterial and, fungal infections; occasionally mycobacterial, viral and protozoal organisms may also cause infections. Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection was reported very rarely in these patients. This report describes four patients with M. tuberculosis infection identified from 185 adult patients who were diagnosed myelogenous leukemia between January 2003, and December 2004. There was no patient with M. tuberculosis infection from 44 lymphoid leukemia and 11 acute biphenotypic leukemia patients. Sites of infection were all lymph nodes. Three among four patients were presented with lymphadenopathy at initial diagnosis of leukemia, and the other one presented with lymphadenopathy after induction chemotherapy. There was no patient presented with lymphadenopathy during the neutropenic phase. Tuberculous lymphadenitis was presented in a patient with three acute myelogenous leukemia (FAB class 2 M4, 1 M2) and a chronic myelogenous leukemia, accelerated phase. An acute myelogenous leukemia patient had a leukemic cell and tubercle bacilli in the same lymph node. Tuberculosis should also be included as a differential diagnosis in myelogenous leukemia patient with lymphadenopathy, especially in the countries in which the disease is endemic.

        한국 연안 퇴적물에서 ^137Cs, ^90Sr 및 Pu 동위원소의 분포

        한국 주변 연안 15개 정점의 퇴적물(0∼20 cm)에서 ^137Cs, ^90Sr, ^239+240Pu 의 농도와 농도비를 조사했다. ^137Cs, ^90Sr, ^238Pu 및^239+240Pu의 평균 방사능 농도는 각각 2.24±0.79 Bq·kg^-1-dry, 0.20±0.04 Bq·kg^-1-dry, 0.009±0.005 Bq·kg^-1-dry 및 0.27±0.17 Bq·kg^-1-dry이다. ^137Cs/^90Sr, ^239+240Pu/^137Cs 및 ^238Pu/229+240Pu의 평균 농도 비와 ^239Pu/240의 평균 원자 비는 각각 11.2±2.9, 0.123±0.053, 0.033±0.01 및 0.218±0.036이다. 퇴적물에서 핵종의 농도 범위와 핵종간의 농도 비는 그 동안 주변국가의 퇴적물에서 조사한 값과 비슷하였다. 퇴적물에서 ^137Cs과 ^239+240Pu의 상관계수는 0.80이다. ^137Cs과 SOM, ^239+240Pu과 점토 함량과의 상관계수는 각각 0.69, 0.67 이다. The concentrations and activity ratios of ^137Cs, ^90Sr, ^238Pu and ^239+240Pu in sediment(0∼20 cm) at 15 coastal stations of Korea were determined. The mean concentrations of ^137Cs, ^90Sr, ^238Pu and ^239+240Pu are 2.24±0.79 Bq·kg^-1-dry, 0.20±0.04 Bq·kg^-1-dry, 0.009±0.005 Bq·kg^-1-dry and 0.27±0.17 Bq·kg^-1-dry, respectively. The mean activity ratios of ^137Cs/^90Sr, ^239+240Pu/^137Cs and ^238Pu/^229+240Pu and atomic ratio of ^240Pu/^239Pu are 11.2±2.9, 0.123±0.053 and 0.033±0.017 and 0.218±0.036, respectively. The concentrations and activity ratios in sediment samples are similar to those reported from neighbouring country in the northern hemisphere. The correlation coefficient of ^137Cs and ^239+240Pu is 0.80. The correlation coefficient of ^137Cs and soil organic matter(SOM), and ^239+240Pu and clay content are 0.69 and 0.67, respectively.

      • 연쇄상구균을 실험감염시킨 넙치치어의 병리조직학적 관찰

        Pathological observations were examined after abdominal inoculation in 7∼8㎝ sized flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) with 1X10^7 cfu/㎖ of Streptococcus faecalis. The infected flounder were clinically observed and weighed a fish body at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 days post inoculation. In infected group, mortality were 70% and feed efficiency were 7.2%. In non-infected group, mortality were 10% and feed efficiency were 18.2%. Macroscopically, the significant lesions were characterized by protrusions and opacity of the eyes and ulcer of the caudal pecuncle. Histopathologically, the lesions were observed a degeneration. necrosis and inflammatory cells in muscle of the caudal peduncle and a degeneration and necrosis of the rod cells and detached retina from the black pigmented layer

      • 역상 액체 크로마토그래피에 의한 Iron(Ⅲ)porphyrin 착화합물들의 분리 및 용리거동에 관한 연구

        몇 가지 iron(III)porphyrin 착화합물을 합성하고, 이들에 대하여 역상 액체 크로마토그래피에서의 최적 분리조건 및 용리거동을 조사하였다. 분리관, 흐름속도, 용리액의 조성등을 변화시킨 실험에서 분리관은 NOVA-PAK ??, 용리액은 methanol/water의 이성분 혼합용매를 적당히 조절하였을 때 용량인자가 최적분리조건인 0≤logk'≤1 범위를 만족시켰다. 용리거동에 관련된 인자들로는 용리액의 세기, 분포비(??) 및 분리관의 온도변화에 따른 엔탈피(△H°), 엔트로피 (△S°), 보정온도(β)를 조사하여 분리 메카니즘을 규명하였다. 이성분 용매계에서 용리 세기 및 물의 부피분율과 용량인자 (logk')와의 관계를 조사한 결과 이들간에는 직선성이 잘 성립되었으며, 부피비와 용량인자의 관계에서도 비교적 직선성을 잘 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로부터 시료의 용리 메카니즘이 소용매성 효과에 기인하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 열역학적인 방법으로 용리거동을 조사하기 위하여, van't Hoff plot으로부터 엔탈피, 엔트로피를 구하였다. 엔탈피와 용량인자와의 상관관계를 조사한 결과 iron(III)porphyrin 착화합물과 정지상과의 상호작용은 온도변화에 관계없이 일정함을 알 수 있었고, 정지상과의 소용매성 결합 과정은 등평형 거동을 나타내었다. Some iron(Ⅲ)porphyrin complexes were prepared, and identified by the spectroscopic methods. Elution behavior of iron(Ⅲ)porphyrin complexes was investigated by reversed-phase HPLC. The optimum conditions for the separation of iron(Ⅲ)porphyrin complexes were examined with respect to flow rate and mobile phase strength. These complexes were successfully separated on NOVA-PAK ?? column using methanol/water (95/5) for [??] and methanol/water (98/2) for [??] as a mobile phase. It was found that these complexes were largely eluted in an acceptable range of capacity factor value (0≤logk'≤1). The dependence of the capacity factor (k') on the volume fraction of water in the binary mobile phase as well as the dependence of k' on the liquid-liquid extraction distribution ratio (??) in methanol-water/n-pentadecane extraction system showed a good linearity. It means that the retention of iron(Ⅲ)porphyrin complexes on NOVA-PAK ?? column is largely due to the solvophobic effect. Also, there was a good linear dependence of the capacity factor(k') on the column temperature and enthalpy calculated by van't Hoff plot. From these results, it was confirmed that the retention mechanism of iron(Ⅲ)porphyrin complexes in reversed-phase liquid chromatography was invariant under the condition of various temperature, and the solvophobic binding process exhibited isoequilibrium behavior.

        Ternary miscibility gap (phase diagram) of the Pb-Cu-S System is important to smelting of lead and copper. We are experimentally determinded this System of 1250∼1000℃ This paper is also experimentally determined the ternary mircibility gap of the Pb-Cu-S System at 900∼800℃ the result obtained at 900℃, 800℃, are shown below. 1. Three phase region of 900℃ in wider than at 1000℃. But type of plase diagram at 900℃ is similer of 1000℃. 2. The plase diagram of 800℃ is alomost Same at 900℃.
