        Fault Detection for Two-dimensional Multi State Delay Roesser Systems with Finite Frequency Specifications

        This article investigates the problem of fault detection filtering for two dimensional (2-D) continuousdiscrete systems with multi state delay in finite frequency domain. Firstly, by the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method, a finite frequency bounded real lemma (BRL) is presented. Secondly, based on the obtained finite frequency BRL, an observer-based finite frequency fault detection filter is provided as a residual generator, which is used to simultaneously minimize the disturbance effect and maximize the fault effect in finite frequency ranges. Finally, simulations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.

      • Cross-coupled Transistor Load Structure in Differential Pairs

        The cross-coupled transistor structure has been widely utilized in LSI circuits. This paper presents a cross-coupled transistor load structure for differential amplifiers and the performance of the structure is analyzed. The differential amplifier composed of the cross-coupled transistor load structure and the differential pair is verified by circuit simulation and the simulation results indicate that the structure can improve the performances of the differential amplifier in several parameters including the gain and the quiescent current.

        Social-Aware Resource Allocation Based on Cluster Formation and Matching Theory in D2D Underlaying Cellular Networks

        With the appearance of wireless spectrum crisis in traditional cellular network, device-to-device (D2D) communication has been regarded as a promising solution to ease heavy traffic burden by enabling precise content delivery among mobile users. However, due to the channel sharing, the interference between D2D and cellular users can affect the transmission rate and narrow the throughput in the network. In this paper, we firstly present a weighted interference minimization cluster formation model involving both social attribute and physical closeness. The weighted-interference, which is evaluated under the susceptible-infected(SI) model, is utilized to gather user in social and physical proximity. Then, we address the cluster formation problem via spectrum clustering with iterative operation. Finally, we propose the stable matching theory algorithm in order to maximize rate oriented to accomplish the one-to-one resource allocation. Numerical results show that our proposed scheme acquires quite well clustering effect and increases the accumulative transmission rate compared with the other two advanced schemes.

      • 2D Visualization of Seismic Trace Data Based on SEGY Format

        Visualization technology now has been widely used in the field of seismic exploration, which can improve the quality and efficiency of data processing, reduce risk and cost of exploration. This paper mainly studies the visualization of 2D seismic trace data, and figures out the oscillograph of trace data based on the actual data. In the drawing of the oscillograph, to avoid the situation that oscillograph becomes polygonal line when dealing with fewer sampling points, this paper introduces Bezier Curve Fitting method, and as the test data demonstrate, the oscillograph becomes more smooth with the help of Bezier Curve Fitting, and the expected effects are achieved.

        Behavior of Cantilever Composite Girder Bridges with CSWs under Eccentric Loading

        A study on the torsion and distortion properties of the cantilever single-box three-cell composite girder bridge with corrugated steel webs (CSWs) is carried out based on experimental testing and finite element model analysis. Firstly, the mechanical characteristics such as the deformation, longitudinal warping normal stress were investigated based on a double cantilever girder model test. Secondly, the influence of parameters such as girder height, box width and corrugated steel web thickness on the warping stress of cantilever composite girder with CSWs under eccentric load were analyzed based on the finite element model. Finally, the eccentric load effect of the composite bridge with CSWs at the maximum cantilever construction stage under different load combinations was analyzed based on a finite element model of the real bridge. The results show that the longitudinal warping strain of the CSWs is significantly smaller than that of the top and bottom concrete slabs under eccentric loading due to the accordion effect. The maximum warping normal stress occurs at the corners of the bottom concrete slab. The additional shear stress of the steel webs distributes uniformly along the girder height, and the additional stress of the web on the loading side is clearly greater than that at the middle. The finite element parameter analysis results show that the height and width have a significant influence on the warping stress of single box three-cell composite girder with CSWs, and the thickness of CSWs has almost no effect. In practical engineering, the warping stress of the bottom slab accounts for approximately 20% of the bending stress when the self-weight is considered. Therefore, it is not trivial to consider the influence of the warping normal stress of a concrete slab and the additional shear stress of the CSWs in the design and calculation of this type of bridge.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Regular covers of complete graphs whose fibre-preserving automorphism groups act 2-arc-transitively are investigated. Such covers have been classified when the covering transformation groups <I>K</I> are cyclic groups <SUB> Z d </SUB> for an integer d ≥ 2 , metacyclic abelian groups Z p 2 , or nonmetacyclic abelian groups Z p 3 for a prime <I>p</I> (see S.F. Du et al. (1998) [5] for the first two metacyclic group cases and see S.F. Du et al. (2005) [3] for the third nonmetacyclic group case). In this paper, a complete classification is achieved of all such covers when <I>K</I> is any metacyclic group.</P>

        Academia or enterprises: gender, research outputs, and employment among PhD graduates in China

        PhD graduates play an important role in the national innovation system. However, only a few studies have explored Chinese PhD graduates’ employment and development prospects because of limited data. To fill in this gap, this study conducted a survey of doctoral recipients in 13 Chinese universities. The authors drew on the national survey data and in-depth interviews to critically analyze the PhD graduates’ job preferences, employment outcomes, and factors that affect their employment sectors. Results indicate a notable difference between the graduates’ job preferences and their employment outcomes. The proportion of employment in academia is substantially below expected, particularly among female graduates. This study specifically focuses on the impact of gender and scientific output (including articles and patents) on the employment outcomes of PhD graduates. Compared with graduates employed by the non-academic sectors, male graduates have a lower probability of employment in universities and research institutions. Compared with those working in enterprises, PhD graduates employed in universities and research institutions published more during their doctoral study. For graduates who majored in science, engineering, and agricultural sciences, having patents increases their probability of working in the enterprises.

        Separation and Purification of Antioxidant Peptide from Fermented Whey Protein by Lactobacillus rhamnosus B2-1

        In this study, a antioxidant activity peptide fraction was separated and purified from metabolites of whey protein fermented by Lactobacillus rhamnosus B2-1. The fermentation sample was separated by macroporous resin D101 and Sephadex G-15. The collected fractions were tested for antioxidant and antitumor activities. In order to test the antioxidant activity of fractions, Hydroxyl (·OH), 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6- sulfonic acid (ABTS), and Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) were used. The final purified peptide B11 showed highest ABTS and ·OH radical scavenging rate by 84.36±1.89% and 62.43±2.64%, respectively, and had an ORAC activity of 1,726.44± 2.76 μM Trolox equivalent/g. Further, the inhibitory effect of B11 on the proliferation of LoVo human colon cancer cells, KB and Cal-27 human oral cancer cells were enhanced with increasing concentrations of B11. B11 contains 51.421% amino acids, with Glu and Asp being the major constituents. In this study, we obtained peptide fraction B11 with antioxidant activity, which is promising for development.

        A potential industrialized fiber-supported copper catalyst for one-pot multicomponent CuAAC reactions in water

        A potential industrialized fiber catalyst for “click chemistry” via the one-pot multicomponent Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) for the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazoles in water, is reported. Detailed characterization by appearance, mechanical properties, elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, and SEM confirmed the rangeability of the fiber catalyst during the preparation and utilization processes. Moreover, the fiber catalyst-mediated reactions proceeded smoothly to afford triazoles with nearly quantitative yields in short time (15 min). Furthermore, the fiber catalyst has shown tandem activities and superior recyclability (over 10 cycles), and the procedure is operationally simple and amenable to the gram-scale on a simple fixed-bed reactor.
