Conductivity relaxation in NiTiO3 at high temperatures
Teng Li,Chun Chang Wang,Chang Mei Lei,Xiao Hong Sun,Guo Jing Wang,Liu Na Liu 한국물리학회 2013 Current Applied Physics Vol.13 No.8
NiTiO3 ceramics were prepared via the traditional solid-state reaction route. The dielectric properties of NiTiO3 ceramics have been systematically investigated in the temperature range from room temperature to 1073 K NiTiO3 ceramics exhibit intrinsic dielectric response in the temperature range below 400 K. Two relaxations were observed in the temperature range higher than 400 K. The relaxation activation energy is 0.95 eV and 1.17 eV for the low- and high-temperature relaxations, respectively. Our results strongly indicate that the two relaxations are related to conductivity relaxation associated with the singly and doubly ionized oxygen vacancies.

Continuous mode changes during battery charging present a significant challenge for the application of inductive power transfer (IPT) in battery charging. Achieving constant-current (CC) and constant-voltage (CV) charging characteristics is crucial for its successful implementation. This paper proposes a variable static S-T/FC compensation topology based on switching state changes. It offers the advantages of being able to handle various load conditions, facilitating soft switching of the inverter throughout the operation process, and achieving CC and CV charging without changing the operating frequency of the system. The characteristics of the proposed topology were confirmed through a theoretical analysis. Additionally, a completely new parameter design method is proposed. The CC and CV characteristics of the proposed topology are verified through theoretical derivation and simulation analysis. Finally, a validation prototype is constructed to assess the feasibility and rationality of the proposed method, achieving a 3.5 A output current in the CC mode and a 70 V output voltage in the CV mode.
End-to-end Service Assurance in 5G Crosshaul Networks
Che-Chun Teng,Mei-Chun Chen,Min-Han Hung,Hong-Jie Chen 한국통신학회 2020 한국통신학회 APNOMS Vol.2020 No.09
More and more telecom operators around the world began to build and to deploy fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks. With the advent of 5G service scenarios, it brings new challenges and increases the complexity of management. To deliver good quality of experience of these 5G applications for customers, service assurance is important. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end service assurance solution for 5G crosshaul networks. The 5G crosshaul network architecture consists of fronthaul, midhaul, and backhaul networks. Our solution deployed in 5G trial network in Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan. The solution focus on slicing service assurance and synchronization monitoring. Besides, our solution adjusts most of network management in the operation support system (OSS) to apply to 5G crosshaul network. Our goal is to provide stable 5G transport network and to assure quality of experience for customers.

In this research, a prediction model of the sound pressure level during blanking using servo press with counterforce was establishedbased on the acoustic theory as well as the vibration equation of punch in the course of breakthrough process. The theoretical values ofthe sound pressure level of blanking noise were calculated based on the developed prediction model. The variation of the sound pressurelevel of blanking noise with different parameters was also investigated and compared with the experimental results. It reveals that theblanking noise increases with the shear strength and the thickness of sheet metal, and further the blanking speed. The relative error betweenthe experimental results and the theoretical ones determined based on the prediction model is less than 1.7%, and the applicationexample of the prediction model in batch production is given. The prediction model is thus proved to be promising and efficient for noiseprediction during blanking using servo press with counterforce.
An experimental study on the hydro-elastic analysis of a circular cylindrical shell
Min, Cheon-Hong,Park, Han-Il,Teng, Bin,Kim, Byung-Mo Korean Society of Ocean Engineers 2011 International journal of ocean system engineering Vol.1 No.1
Ocean structures and vehicles are exposed to severe ocean environment conditions such as waves, winds and currents. When such ocean structures and vehicles are designed, an accurate structure analysis is required to keep the system safely. Hydro-elastic analysis is one of key issues to design such structures and vehicles. In many previous investigations, numerical analyses for hydro-elastic problem have been used. In this study, an experimental analysis is carried out and the circular cylindrical shell is considered. Dynamical characteristics for a circular cylindrical shell are identified by experimental vibration analysis in air and water. The natural frequencies and mode shapes are compared in air and water to obtain hydro-elastic effects. Some interesting results are found in the variation of natural frequencies and damping ratios of the circular cylindrical shell for different water contact depths.

Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 and MMP-9 are important proteases involved in invasion and metastasis of various tumors. Extra-gastrointestinal stromal tumors (EGISTs) are rare neoplasms. This study was performed to assess MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression in EGIST tissue samples for association with clinicopathological data from the patients. Twenty-one surgical EGIST tissue specimens were collected for analysis of MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression using immunohistochemistry. MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins were expressed in all of the epithelial cell types of EGISTs, whereas they were only expressed in 75% of the spindle cell type, although there was no statistically significant difference (p>0.05). Expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins was associated with tumor size, mitotic rate, tumor necrosis, and distant metastasis (p<0.05). MMP-2 expression was linked with MMP-9 levels (p<0.05). However, there was no correlation between MMP-9 expression and age, sex, primary site, or cell morphology in any of these 21 EGIST patients (p>0.05). Moreover, expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins increased with the degree of EGIST risk. This study provided evidence of an association of MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression with advanced EGIST behavior.
