        The purpose of this study is to examine life styles of male and female students, who are from middle and high schools under the Pusan Educational Office, for health perception by using Pender's health promotion model as a theoretical basis. For the purpose, factors of health perception were selected as influencing life styles for health promotion in order to determine the relationship between the perception and the life styles. The results of the study can be summarized as follows; In an analysis of the overall status of health perception, significant differences were not found between middle and high school students, and between male and female students. specifically, however, middle school students showed more positiveness about self-confidence in health condition, resistance for disease prevention, health status comparison and self-confidence in future health than high school ones, but found themselves about their tendency of frequent sickness and anxiety about health. Further, male students responded more positively to practice for disease prevention, interest in health and uncertainty about future health than female ones and more negatively to tendency of frequent sickness. Consequently, it is necessary for middle schools to perform a basic and systemic health education to ensure that their students establish fundamentals for health throughout the whole life. For high school students, practical programs of health education should be strengthened. The fact that male students have more desirable life styles for health perception and health promotion than female ones suggests that physical classes or health education programs should be prepared to attract female students more.

        This article explores the possible ways in which human being's perceptional, psychological, and physiological characteristics can be applied to interior or space design. In the article, human beings' perceptional, psychological, and physiological characteristics were reviewed from previous ergonomics studies, then they were connected with environment emphasizing the relationship between human beings and environment. This study tried to discover new role and application of human factors in interior & architectural design, keeping mind on current trend and situation in which various problems are expected, in man-space system or man-environment system of ergonomics. By defining psychological and physiological characteristics in environment, this study will lead to following studies of new concept, research method, and research theme in ergonomics area.

        This study aims at finding a genealogy of architectural space and form theory. Space is regarded as a twin partner with form in the creation of architecture. We find a number of German writers on aesthetics using the term 'space' in its modern architectural sense from the beginning of the nineteenth century. The best space has been Gidion's analysis of its modern developments. But the kind of space involved in architectural design, and one might contend that 'form' is the largest element that on architect is able to deal with as a unified work of art. Kurt Badt's Raumphantasien und Raumillusionen which provides a useful clue as to new ideas concerning the relationship between space and form.

      • 초음파 기법을 활용한 콘크리트 구조물의 내부 균열 검출

        최근, 콘크리트 구조물(터널, 고가교 등)에서의 박리 및 낙하사고 등으로 콘크리트 구조물에 대한 유지관리시스템의 중요성이 재인식되었다. 콘크리트 구조물의 유지관리 및 보수시 조사·분석해야 할 가장 중요한 결함 요인은 콘크리트의 균열이다. 콘크리트의 균열은 내부에 발생하지만 구조적으로 문제가 없는 경우도 상당수 있으므로 종합적으로 분석하여 상태를 평가해야 하며 균열 상태는 폭, 깊이, 방향, 형상의 측면에서 조사 분석해야 한다. 이중 균열 깊이가 구조물의 안전거동에 미치는 영향이 큰 경우에는 콘크리트에 발생된 균열 깊이를 정확히 측정하여 정도에 따른 적절한 대책을 수립해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트에 이미 발생된 균열의 초음파 탐상검사 방법으로 측정된 결과를 이해하기 쉽도록 3차원으로 화상처리 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 서로 다른 균열 형상의 12가지 시험편을 제작하고 초음파 탐상검사 방법으로 균열 깊이를 측정한 후 균열 형상을 화상처리 할 수 있는 프로그램을 작성하였다. Cracks of concrete structure must be analyzed and estimated synthetically in order to have a maintenance and to insure the safety and the durability of structure. Concrete cracks have to be surveyed with respect to depth, width, shape and direction, but crack depth and shape among these items are not measured easily. Occasionally, it needs to measure the crack depth and shape of concrete structure for the purpose of evaulating the safe capacity and the necessity of repair. Therefore, experiments were carried with three-dimensional(3D) Ultra-Sonic Technique to detection and analysis crack shape in concrete and this report is performed to veritf the applicability and the accuracy of Ultra-Sonic Technique in non-destructive testing methods. Moreover, the result shows that the measurement of crack in concrete is related to the shape and angle of inclination of notch.

        This study describes an interframe image coding method using motion compensated and classified vector quantization(MC-CVQ). In motion compensated vector quantization(MCVQ), it is very important to encode the significant block. Therefore, we propose the MC-CVQ which encodes the significant block in the motion compensated error image by the classified vector quantizer. We classify the significant blocks according to the positions of the significant vectors, and also classify the significant vectors into 15 classes according to the positions of the significant pels. The computer simulation shows that the signal-to-noise ratio and the average bits of MC-CVQ are 0.2-0.25 bits/pel and 35 to 37 dB, respectively.

      • 세신엑스의 면역반응에 미치는 영향

        Asiasari Radix has been used as an analgesic and antitussive agent for treatment of influenza, headache, rheumatic pain and asthma. In order to investigate of the plant on immune response, its fractions(ether, ethyl acetate, butanol, and water) were administered for six days before sensitization, on day 0, and for 4 days from challenge. The changes of body weight(%), organ weight ratio(%) and the numbers of WBC, RBC, ear swelling by dinitrofluorobenzene(DNFB) and the titers of hemaglutination(HA) and hemolysin(HE) to SRBC were determined. The contact delayed type hypersensitivity to DNFB in mice inhibited by aqueous ex. more than methanol ex. The changes of liver and spleen(%) and the numbers of WBC, RBC and HA, HE titers were decreased compared with positive control. Water fraction showed significant inhibition in cellular immune response by ear swelling.

        개선된 사람 혈장중 세파클러 농도 정량법을 이용한 세파클러 캡슐의 생체이용률 측정

        After establishing improved HPLC analytical method ofcefaclor in human plasma samples, a bioavailability study of cefaclor capsules was conducted according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). The standard calibration curve using an HPLC with UV detector was constructed in a range of 0.0324--16 μg/m1. The 6% perchloric acid instead of 6% trichloroacetic acid was used to precipitate plasma protein. The HPLC chromatograms were precisely and accurately resolved when spiked with human plasma spiked with cefaclor and cephalexin (internal standard). Twenty healthy male Korean volunteers received two commercial cefaclor capsules, Neocef ' capsule (Jinyang Pharm. Co., Ltd) or Ceclor" capsule {Lilly Korea. Co., Ltd.) at the 250 mg cefaclor in a 2 x 2 crossover study. There was a one-week washout period between the doses. Plasma concentrations of cefaclor were monitored for 8 hours after oral drug administration. AUC, the area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time zero to 8 hr (13 points), was calculated by the linear trapezoidal rule method. C,,,a" (maximum plasma drug concentration) and Tmax (time to reach Cma,) were compiled from the plasma concentration-time data. Analysis of variance was carried out using logarithmically transformed AUC, and Cmax. No significant sequence effect was found for all of the bioavailability parameters indicating that the cross-over design was properly performed. The 90% confidence intervals of the AUC, ratio and the Cmax ratio for Neocer/Ceclor" were 0.9049 S S < 1.0304 and 0.9776 5 S 1.226, respectively. These values were within the acceptable bioequivalence intervals of 0.80-1.25. Thus, our study demonstrated the bioequivalence of Neocef"/Ceclor" with respect to the extent of absorption.

      • 정온법을 이용한 절연재료의 열확산 계수측정

        Serveral transient techniques were used for measuring the thermal diffusivities of fibrous insulating meterials. The transient technique use din the present study was the constant temperature plate method. The mathematical model of the CTP method is based on a semi-infinite slab with finite thickness, with the front of the slab modeled at constant temperature and the rear face as being maintained at the initial temperature. At time zero, the sample was placed for several minutes on a hot plate maintained at constant temperature. The temperatures of both sample on a hot plate maintained at constant temperature. The temperature of both sample faces were measured as a function of time to confirm the boundary conditions. Temperature of an interior position of the sample were measured and were used to calculate the termal diffusivity. The boundary conditions were satisfied during the time from zero to the time just before the rear face temperature started to rise. The thermal diffusivities of NBS, blanket, made in U.S.A. and several insulators made in Korea were measured about 300℃ to confirm the accuracy of the experimental apparatus.

      • 경동맥분지관 모형내 유동현상의 연구

        경동맥분지부내 혈액유동을 촬영하는 자기공명혈관촬영술은 경동맥외벽을 따라 발생되는 신호소실로 인하여 때로는 실제 혈류현상을 잘 나타내지 못한다. 본 연구에서는 경동맥분지부에서 신호소실의 원인이 되는 유동의 역류 현상을 실험 및 수치해석적 방법으로 연구하고자 한다. 실험은 생체용 수지로 만든 경공맥분지관의 보형을 이용하고 유동형태는 4w% 설탕수용액으로 채워진 재순환장치에 설치된 모형에서 자기공명혈관촬영술과 색혈류영상장치를 이용하여 관찰하였다. 수치해석을 위한 경동맥의 이상화된 기하학적 형상은 제작된 모형과 동일하게 하였다. 정상상태의 운동량방정식을 유한체적법으로 수치해를 구하였다. 자기공명촬영술과 색혈류영상장치로 관찰한 모형내 유동현상은 수치 해석결과와 잘 일치한다. Magnetic resonance angiograms for blood flows in the carotid artery bifurcation sometimes fail to exhibit the real flow phenomena due to the signal dropout phenomenon along the posterior wall of carotid sinus where the reversal flow prevails. The objective of this study is to investigate the flow reversal phenomenon in the carotid artery. A phantom of the carotid bifurcation made of bioacrylic resin is used to observe the flow phenomena in the carotid artery. Flow patterns are observed by using magnetic resonance angiogram and color Doppler imaging systems for flows in the phantom of an automatic closed-type circulatory system filled with sugar 4 weight percent solution. For numerical analysis the idealized geometric shape of the carotid artery is constructed to portray the phantom. Steady momentum equation is solved by the finite volume method. Results of numerical analysis are compared with those of magnetic resonance angiograms and color Doppler images. The flow phenomena observed in the phantom on magnetic resonance angiogram and color Doppler imaging are identical to those of the numerical results.

      • 연속파형 Nd:YAG 레이저에 의한 인코넬 600의 용접 공정변수의 연구

        The laser welding process is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies owing to its high speed and deep penetration. Welding characteristics of Inconel 600 Alloy using a continuous wave Nd:YAG laser are experimentally investigated. The major process parameters studied in the present laser welding experiment were position of focus, laser power, travel speed. The gap and offset maintained as small as possible. Optical microscope were used to investigate the microstructures of the welded zone. The follow conclusions can be drawn the laser power and travel speed have a pronounced effect the fusion zone size and shape.
