        The nucleation and microstructure of DC & RF sputtered MoS₂thin film on glass, Si wafer, stainless steel, and Al foil have been studied. The grain size was increased with the substrate temperature(R.T.∼300℃)and working pressure(3∼20mtorr). Cracks were initiated at the surface and propagated to interior of MoS₂thin film due to compressive stress above critical thickness(about 2,000nm). (100) was dominated at R.T. and (002) was observed at 150℃ and 300℃ implicating that the predetermined grain growth was perpendical to the substrate. The coarse grain and worm-like grain growth was observed by SEM from R.T. to 300℃ at 10mtorr.

      • 편측 저작습관이 저작운동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This study was performed to investigate the chewing movements in subjects with unilateral chewing habit. 42 patients with temporomandibular disorders and 44 dental students without any signs and symptoms of the temporomandibular disorders were selected as the patients group and the control group, respectively. BioEGN of the Biopak (BioResearch Inc. USA) was used to record chewing movements pattern as to chewing velocity, range of movements and symmetry of the path to midline. The data were analyzed by the preferred chewing side and/or the affected side by SAS/stat program. The results obtained were as follows : 1. In control group, right side chewing subjects showed more deflected path to preferred chewing side than left side chewing subjects have done. But in patients group, there was no significant difference in chewing pattern between the two subjects. 2. In unilaterally affected patients, right side affected patients showed slight difference between the movements to both sides, but left side affected patients showed significant deflection to the affected side. 3. There were some difference in preferred chewing side movement pattern between the patients group and the control group in right chewing subjects whereas no difference was seen between the two groups in left chewing subjects. 4. There was no difference in chewing velocity and range of movements between right and left side movement in all cases compared by preferred chewing side or affected side.

      • 단기간의 크레아틴 섭취가 수구 선수들의 반복적 20m 수영 경기력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 단기간의 creatine 섭취에 따른 수영기록, 운동 후의 혈액 암모니아와 젖산 농도의 변화를 측정하여 creatine 섭취가 반복적인 고강도 수영 경기력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사하였다. 피험자들은 국가대표급 (상비군 이상) 남자 수구 선수 14명이었으며 creating 집단 (n=7)과 placebo 집단 (n=7)으로 각각 무선 배정되었다. 피험자들은 creatine 또는 placebo (글루코스)를 하루에 20g(4회×5g)씩 5일 동안 섭취하였으며 섭취 기간 전 · 후에 20m×12회×2세트의 수영을 전력을 다해 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1.12회×20m×2세트의 수영기록은 creative과 placebo 섭취 후 두 집단 모두에서 단축되었다 (p<.001). 하지만 두 집단 사이에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 2.12회×20m×2세트 수영 후의 혈액 암모니아 농도는 두 집단 모두에서 Cr 또는 placebo 섭취 후 감소하였지만 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 3.12회×20m×2세트 수영 후의 젖산 농도는 두 집단 모두에서 Cr 또는 placebo 섭취 후 증가하였지만 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 본 연구의 결과는 creative 섭취가 12회×20m×2세트의 수영 운동 동안 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 보여주지 않았다. creatine 보충제의 효과가 작용하기에는 20m 수영 지속시간이 너무 짧았을 수 있으며 또한 5일보다 더 긴 섭취기간이 요구될 수도 있을 것이다. 명확한 결론을 얻기 위해서는 placebo 집단 외의 통제 집단이 포함된 연구가 요구된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of short-term oral creative supplement on performance during repeated 20m sprint swimming. 14 water polo players (age, 20yrs) were divided into creatine group (n=7) and placebo group (n=7). Subjects did 2sets of 20m×12 sprint swimming. There were 2 minutes of rest period between sets and 45 seconds were allowed to swim 20m and recover before next swimming. Swimming performance, pre and post exercise blood ammonia and lactate levels were measured before and after 5 days of creatine and placebo (glucose) supplementation (20g/day). The results were as follows: 1.Swimming performance of 20m×12×2sets were improved after supplementation in both groups (p<0.001). However, there was no difference between two groups. 2.Post-exercise blood ammonia level were decreased after supplementation in both groups but it was not statistically significant. 3.Post-exercise blood lactate level were increased after supplementation in both groups but it was not statistically significant. The results of this study showed that creatine supplementation had no positive effects on repeated splint swimming. However, there is a possibility that 20m swimming was too brief for the creatine to exert ergogenic effects or 5 day supplementation periods was not long enough. Further studies, which includes control group, are required to examine the ergogenic effects of creatine on repetitive short-distance swimming.

      • 결핵균체 단백항원에 대한 항결핵균 IgG 항체에 관한 연구

        In order to study the level of IgG antibody binding to sonicate antigen of Mycobacteriumn tuberculosis H_34Rv for ammonium sulfate 30∼40 fraction in sera isolated from 209 patients and. 135 controls were measured by plastic tube enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The levels of IgG antibody binding to Mycobacterium tuberculosis H_37Rv antigen in sera from all patients and controls were measured after absorption of 1 : 400 diluted sera with ,Wycobacteriuez bovis and dMlycobacterium Kansasii for ammonium sulfate 30∼40 fraction. The authors conducted the survey from August 1984 to January 1985. The results obtained were as follows : 1. At the serum dilution of 1:400, the mean ELISA values of IgG antibody to Mycobacterium tuberculosis H_37Rv after absorption with Mycobacterium kansasii antigen from far advanced patients and control were 0.8666±0.4903 and 0.2058±0.1353, respectively. 2. The mean ELISA value of IgG antibody to Mycobacterium tuberculosis H_37Rv afer absorption with Mycobacterium kansasii antigen from moderate patients was 0.6488±0.3918, the ratio of ammonium sulfate fraction 30∼40 in sera from patients and controls was 3.153. 3. The mean ELISA value of IgG antibody to Mycobacterium tuberculosis H_37Rv after absorption with Mycobacterium kansasii antigen from minimal patients was 0.4205±0.3155, the ratio of ammonium sulfate fraction 30∼40 in sera from patients and controls was 2.043.

      • tert-Butanol/Water 혼합용매에서 Solvated Electron(es-)과 Scavenger(LiNO₃)의 반응성에 관한 연구

        The reactivities of solvated electrons(e_{s}^{-}) with scavengers(LiNO₃) were studied in tert-butanol/water mixed solvents as a function of solvent composition and temperature. The reaction rate constant(K₂) of solvated electrons with lithium nitrate in tert-butanol/water solvents correspond to e_{s}^{-}+NO₃^{-} reaction. The reaction(e_{s} +NO₃) in the water rich region are nearly diffusion controlled. When the reactants repulsion each other(Z=-l) the value of f is <1. Removal of the coulombic interaction (K₂/f) for (e_{s} +NO₃) reaction increases as water is added to alcohol. For the reaction of solvated electronded with lithium nitrate in the tert-butanol/water solvent the activation energies(E₂) of (e_{s} +NO₃) reaction decrease as water is added to alcohol. The variations of E are inverse to those of activation energies(E₂).

      • Papaverine이 단일 심근세포의 막전류에 미치는 영향

        Ventricular myocytes of guinea-pig were isolated by means of collagenase digestion in order to investigate the effects of papaverine on the membrane currents in them. After formation of a gigaseal with patch microelectrodes, membrane currents were recorded from single ventricular myocytes in a whole cell mode of patch-clamp technique. For membrane currents recording, electrodes were filled with Cs-solution. Results were as follows: 1. Slow inward calcium was reduced by papaverine dose-dependently. 2. No significant changes were observed in the steady-state inactivation. 3. Recovery time of the calcium currents prolonged in high concencial papaverine. 4. Fast inward sodium currents showed no noticeable changes with papaverine treatment. From these results, it is strongly suggested that the effects of papaverine on the membrane currents in the single ventricular myocytes may be attributable to its antagonistic action on the calcium channel rather than its inhibitory effect on the phosphodiesterase activity.

      • 결핵균항원에 대한 폐결핵환자의 임파구 증식반응에 관한 연구

        T lymphocytes are thought to play a central role in cell mediated immune response. To study the T lymphocyte proliferative response to purified 30-kDa antigen from Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, peripheral blood lymphocytes(PBL) isolated from healthy controls and tuberculosis patients were stimulated with the 30-kDa antigen, crude antigen and PHA. Healthy controls and tuberculosis patients were divided into PPD(+), PPD(-) groups and AFB(-), AFB(+) groups, respectively. PBL proliferation were determined by the ^3H-thymidine incorporation assay and MTT colorimetric assay. PBL proliferation with 30-kDa and crude protein antigens measured by both methods were almost identical(r=0.74, p<0.001). The lymphocyte proliferation to 30-kDa antigen and crude antigen were singnificantly increased in PPD(+) healthy controls and tuberculosis patients when compared to those in PPD(-) controls, but response to PHA was no significant difference. Analysis to T cell subsets of proliferated lymphocytes performed by the indirect immunoalkaline phosphatase techniques were no difference between not only healthy controls and patients groups, but also stimulated antigen or PHA, and especially, at all groups, the percentage of T8 cell was higher than that of T4 cell.

      • Penicillin이 포도구균 세포벽 형성에 미치는 전자현미경적 연구

        Electron microscopy of morphological changes in Staphylococcus aureus induced by penicillin and vancomycin which interfere with cell was synthesis revealed morphological alterations which correlated well with their mechanism of action. And the studies also were undertaken to investigate alterations in surface morphology resulting from the action of gentamycin known to interfere with intracellular protein synthesis. Cultures of Staphylococcus aureus were exposed to penicillin G(1/2 MIC), vancomycin(1/2 MIC) and gentamycin(1/2 MIC) for 5 hours at 37℃. The following results were obtained; 1. Subinhibitory concentration of penicillin G(1/2 MIC) do not kill Staphylococcus aureus, they were induced the cell surface depression, large and small cell formation. 2. In the exposure to 1/2 the MIC of penicillin G, the cross wall was much wider than in the control, 1/2 the MIC of penicillin G have appeared to inhibit cross wall lysis in Staphylococcus aureus. 3. The effects of 1/2 MIC of vancomycin on Staphylococcus aureus revealed the small surface depression, but the cross wall are normal appearance. 4. Specific abnormalities of Staphylococcus aureus by 1/2 MIC of gentamycin are not evident.

      • 나환자의 의학적 관리 실태조사와 그 대책에 관한 연구

        In the hope of solving the problems of medical control of leprosy, all the patints registered in Chungnam province were investigated in the aspects of personal histories, chinical features, bacteriological findings and treatment. etc. In this studies, all the clinical records of 1,240 leprosy patients were analyzed during the period from 1983 to 1984. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Number of patients presenting upper extremity anesthesia were 867 (69.9%) on the left side and 784 (63.2%) on the right side. 2. Number of patients presenting lower extremity anesthesia were 759 (61.2%) on the left and 734 (59.2%) on the right side, and number of patients presenting trophic ulcer were 204 (19.4%) in total. 3. 683 patients (55.1%) were lepromatous type and 416 (33.6%) were tuberculoid type. 4. 169 patients (13.6%) were active, 970 (78.2%) were inactive with treatment and 101 (8.1%)were inactive under surveillance. 5. Bacteriogical examination showed that 144 patients (21.1%) were positive in lepromatous type, 4(19.1%) in boderline type and remaining patients in other types were negative. 6. Out of 1,240 patients, 978(78.9%) were treated with standard DDS only and 241(19.4%) were treated with DDS and rifampicin. 7. Out of 1,240 patients, 68(5.5%) were taking anti- leprosy drugs irregularly and 71 (5.7%) were out-of-control cases. 8. Out of 111 patients in reaction, 91(82.0%) were active patients and 20(18.0%) were inactive patients. 9. The major symptoms and signs of leprosy patients with other clinical manifestation were trophic ulcer, indigestion, headache and corneal injection. 10. The major cause of out-of-leprosy controls were medical rejection, substiute, missing, immobilization and disease denial.
