      • 工團廢水의 嫌氣性消化에서 SO₄²-의 조沮害에 따른 糞尿의 비混合處理 效率에 關한 硏究

        We did biological treatment experimentation of the Anaerobic digestion of the factory sludge including highly concentrated SO₄²- after we mixed 10% night-soil with that sludge. We analyzed and investigated the results and then we could have the conclusions as follows 1. In the continuous experimentation in which the digestion temperature read 25±1℃, the removal rate of COD and VS was 41% and 39% each in case of the digester with the only factory sludge. But the result was different in the event of the mixed sludge with 10% night-soil. The removal rate of COD was 44% and that of VS, 45%, And the quantity of gas generation was 1,120㎖ in the only factory sludge, but 1,430㎖ in the mixed sludge with 10% night-soil, that is, the former generated 4.1㎖ time more gas than the injection quantity, the latter, 5.2 times more. 2. In the continuous experimentation at the digestion temperature of 35±1℃, the removal rate of COD and VS was 41% and 37% each in case of the digester with the factory sludge only. But in case of the mixed sludge with 10% night-soil, the removal rate was 44% and 45% each. And the gas generation quantity was different in each case. In the single sludge digester, the quantity was diferent in each case. In the single sludge digester, the quantity was 570㎖, but in the mixed sludge digester, the quantity was 760㎖. That means that the former generated 2.1 times more gas than the injection quantity and the latter, 3.0 times more. 3. Through the experimentation of the treatment of the mixed factory sludge including highly concentrated SO₄²- with 10% night-soil, we could see not only the improvement of treatment efficiency but also the remarkable increase of the generation quantity of Methane. Accordingly we could have the conclusion that this kind of mixed treatment of the factory sludge with night-soil would be very efficient.

      • 퇴행성 슬관절염 환자의 증상 중증도 지표와 DITI의 상관성 연구

        Objectives : To investigate the applicability of thermography as severity measurement in the patients with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. Methods : Data were obtained from 80 patiens with OA of the knee. They were asked to answer two disease-specific questionnaire (Western Ontario and McMaster Universities (WOMAC) OA index, Lequesne's Functional Index (LFI)), one generic instrument (Korean Health Assessment Questionnaire (KHAQ)), VAS in order to assess the severity of disease, quality of life, degree of pain and taken thermography in standardized environment. Results : The thermal difference between ipsilateral side and contralaterla side of lateral aspect of knee was correlated with that of medial aspect of knee, and the thermal difference of anterior thigh was correlated with that of lateral, medial aspect of knee and patella region. Age, duration of disease, duration of morning stiffness, sex, crepitus, and painful side of knee were not correlated with the thermal differences of each region. LFI, WOMAC, WOMAC pain subscale, WOMAC stiffness subscale, WOMAC physical function, KHAQ,, VAS were not correlated with the thermal differences of each region. Conclusion : Further study on the thermography on OA of the knee in population with appropriate severity grade and the standardization of analysis of thermographic data were recommended.

      • 下水處理水의 有效 利用에 關한 硏究

        After studying several methods of the high efficient use of a treatmented sewage in anticipation of the future shortage of the duty of water, we could have some conclusions as the following : 1. Advanced treatment systems are essential prerequisites in rersing a treatmented sewage. 2. In a short term, the application of reusing a treatmented sewage should go first to new building areas near the sewage but for the long run, it should cover the whole area of Taegu, it is desirable that the pipe line networks which include dual water systems as well as water supply should be spread throughout the whole city. 3. The city authorities have to make every effort to step up publicity activities on this plan to all the citizens and building owners to steadily carry out this project and encourage private constructors to participate with the help of SOC. And for the long run, it is desirable that the application of reusing a treatmented sewage should be obligatory.

        Nowadays several nations have revealed that incineration plants were producing a large volume of hazardous waste, including Taegu city in Korea, which threatens our environment and our health. So the author has completely worked out literature review relating to incineration plants producing air pollution in the world. Therefore, this paper suggested to effective incinerator's operations to improve environmental aspects and assure that they are both safe and effective.

      • 柔軟 生産 시스템을 위한 非線形 生産計劃 問題의 定式化 및 解法

        FMS is the system controlled by a computerized conveyer and the system that numerically controls the machines which manufacture the variety of parts of medium lot size. In a metal cutting industry, a FMS is designed for the purpose of obtaining the well-balanced efficiency in the process of moving the machines. The characteristics and restrictions of this system are similar to the process of ordered system. In this paper, we defines a set of five production scheduling problems which present a solution to the efficient usage of FMS. These problems are formulated by the nonlinear mixed 0-1 integer programming problems. In order to obtaining the solution procedure, we test some linearization approaches and apply to the real data set of existing FMS system. For the computational efficiency, we reduce the number of constraints of linearized integer problems. Computational results reveals that the the computational times are within the acceptable level by the use of the linearization approaches and standard MIP code. If a special-purpose MIP code is used with utilize the structures of the problem, the large scale problem can be solved also.

      • ACP 실증에 따른 시설 주변 주민피폭선량 평가

        The Advanced spent fuel Conditioning Process(ACP) is under development for the effective management of spent fuel which had been generated in nuclear plants. The ACP needs a hot cell where most operations will be performed. To give priority to the environment safety, radiation doses evaluation for the radioactive nuclides was preliminarily performed with the basic concept design report, the meteorological data and the recent site specific data. According to the production and release rate of nuclides, dose evaluations for residents around facility were performed. The evaluation result shows a safe margin for regulation limits and SAR limit of IMEF where this facility will be constructed.

        We demonstrate a compact Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT) system based on the optical fiber delay line controlled by a cylindrical Piezo-electric Transducer(PZT). The OCT system shows excellent characteristics for 2-dimensional imaging, exhibiting 96.90 of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), 18.6±0.5㎛ of axial resolution, and l0㎛ of lateral resolution with an onion sample.

        The purpose of this study is to analyse the relation between peak torque and revealed angle with using isokinetic load speed in low and high speed. To achieve it, we make use of experiment study with each of 50 people female and male. The size of sample is total 100 people. This experiment aims at measurement of using isokinetic machine in cybex. The summary of this result is as following; 1. The more increasing in load speed, revealed angle of peak torque show range of motion late. 2. In case of peak torque do not raise to women, it is negative relation to an revealed angle. 3. In isokinetic motion, from load speed 60° sec show the revealed speed of peak torque in case of man and women; A protractor display from 53° to 54° and a flexor from 34° to 38° that. 4. In isokinetic motion, from load speed 60° sec show the revealed speed of peak fortque in case of man and women; A protractor display form 44°~45° and a flexor form 41° to 44° that.
