        Comparison of Endocrine Therapies in Hormone Receptor-Positive and Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2-Negative Locally Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer: A Network Meta-Analysis

        We aimed to explore what kind of endocrine treatments are optimal for hormone receptor-positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in some specific clinical situations. We searched randomized controlled trials in Embase, Medline, the Cochrane library, and PubMed from inception to April 1, 2020 and performed a network meta-analysis based on a Bayesian fixed-effects model. Progression-free survival (PFS) with hazard ratios and corresponding 95% confidence interval was defined as the primary endpoint, while overall survival (OS), objective response rate (ORR), clinical benefit rate and serious adverse events were used as secondary endpoints. A total of 35 studies involving 12,285 patients and 24 treatment options were included. In general, most co-treatment options prolonged PFS compared to single-agent therapy, of which aromatase inhibitor (AI) plus everolimus and fulvestrant plus palbociclib were probably the most effective agents, and the latter had the best safety record. However, despite the superior efficacy of fulvestrant plus capecitabine for PFS and OS, palpable toxic effects have been demonstrated for this treatment, so its application must be scrupulously considered. The results of subgroup analysis indicated that fulvestrant combined with palbociclib improved prognosis for phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)-mutated patients, PI3K-unmutated patients, patients with endocrine therapy resistance, and visceral metastatic patients, while no obvious improvement was detected in OS. Moreover, the efficacy of fulvestrant plus cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitors was slightly better than that of AI plus CDK4/6 inhibitors, while AI plus everolimus was more efficacious than fulvestrant combined with everolimus in terms of PFS, OS, and ORR. In conclusion, our results provide moderate evidence that fulvestrant plus palbociclib and AI plus everolimus were the most effective treatments, while the efficacy and safety of fulvestrant plus palbociclib was obviously superior in some specific clinical situations.

        A Ferrofluid-based Planar Damper with Magnetic Spring

        The ferrofluid-based damper has been a subject of active research recently in depressing low-frequency vibration of rod due to its relative small viscous damping for the vibration pick-up system. In this work, a novel ferrofluid-based planar damper with magnetic spring is firstly proposed. Compared with the traditional ferrofluid-based damper with the elastic restoring force of ferrofluids, the novel damper is designed with steady magnetic spring to obtain a large relative displacement and dissipate external vibration energy efficiently. Experimental results show that the novel damper has a high damping performance. Under the same initial vibration amplitude of beam, the logarithmic decrement of the system with the novel damper is 31.5 times and 5.5 times larger than those of the system without damper and with the traditional damper, respectively. In addition, compared with the system with the traditional damper, the system with the novel damper can reduce damping time by half.

        Voltage balance strategy for DC‑port failures of three‑phase cascaded H‑bridge rectifiers based on negative sequence current injection

        The three-phase cascaded H-bridge rectifier (CHBR) is widely used in high power and high voltage applications. This paper focuses on the load removed from the DC port of a three-phase CHBR, which can cause single-phase DC-port voltage unbalance issues and three-phases DC-port voltage unbalance issues. This paper proposes a voltage balance control strategy based on negative sequence current injection for three-phase CHBR to deal with the unbalance problem. An individual DC-port voltage control strategy is designed to balance the DC-port voltage in the faulty phase. In addition, a negative sequence current injection control strategy is responsible for balancing the DC-port voltages in the three phase CHBR. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed voltage control strategy based on negative sequence current injection is verified by the experimental results.

        고문 교육에 있어서 허사는 가장 중요한 부분이자, 가장 어려운 부분이다. 본문은 인민교육출 판사의 『普通高中課程標準實驗教科書(必修)』에 수록된 고문을 대상으로, 현재 고등학교의 고 문 교육과 평가 영역에서 다루는 18종의 주요 허사의 의미 분포와 주석 양상에 대해 전면적인 통계 분석을 진행하고, 그 분석 결과를 바탕으로 고문 허사 교수법에 대한 몇 가지 의견을 제시하 였다. 이를 통해 고문의 허사 교육이 과학적이고 체계적인 방향으로 발전하기를 기대해 본다. Function words are the key and difficult points in classical Chinese teaching. In this paper, the author takes the classical chinese materials from the standard experimental textbook (compulsory) of senior high school printed by People's Education Press as the research object. A comprehensive statistics on and analysis of 18 key function words distributed and noted in the textbook during teaching and tests were taken. Based on the results, some practical suggestions on the teaching of classical Chinese function words are put forward in order to promote the scientific and systematic development of the teaching of classical Chinese functional words.

        Convolutional Neural Network Based Multi-feature Fusion for Non-rigid 3D Model Retrieval

        This paper presents a novel convolutional neural network based multi-feature fusion learning method for non-rigid 3D model retrieval, which can investigate the useful discriminative information of the heat kernel signature (HKS) descriptor and the wave kernel signature (WKS) descriptor. At first, we compute the 2D shape distributions of the two kinds of descriptors to represent the 3D model and use them as the input to the networks. Then we construct two convolutional neural networks for the HKS distribution and the WKS distribution separately, and use the multi-feature fusion layer to connect them. The fusion layer not only can exploit more discriminative characteristics of the two descriptors, but also can complement the correlated information between the two kinds of descriptors. Furthermore, to further improve the performance of the description ability, the cross-connected layer is built to combine the low-level features with high-level features. Extensive experiments have validated the effectiveness of the designed multi-feature fusion learning method.

        Fructus mume Protects Against Cigarette Smoke Induced Chronic Cough Guinea Pig

        Fructus mume was recorded in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and traditional Chinese medical books for chronic cough, but the effect and related constituents are still unknown. Thus, we investigated the protect effects and the relevant constituents of F. mume in a guinea pig model with chronic cough induced by cigarette smoke (CS). The organic acids and polysaccharides in F. mume were detected by high performance liquid chromatography, gel permeation chromatography, and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. The guinea pigs were orally administered with vehicle or the water extract of Fructus mume (FW) during the 14 days of CS exposure. Citric acid induced coughs were automatically measured by Buxco system. The differential cells in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and histopathological changes in lung tissue were assessed by hematoxylin and eosin staining. The tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) levels in lung tissue were detected via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The mucus productions in tracheas were determined with Alcian blue-periodic acid Schiff staining. The results suggested relatively high concentration of citric acid, chlorogenic acid, and neochlorogenic acid in F. mume, and high proportion of galactose and glucose and lower molecular weight of polysaccharides. Administration of FW significantly reduced the cough frequency, decreased inflammatory cells in BALF and lung tissue, and attenuated the thickening of airway epithelium and submucosa compared with CS-exposure group. Moreover, the overproduction of TNF-α and IL-8 in lung tissues, and mucus in central airways of CS-induced guinea pigs was markedly inhibited by FW. The extract could also protect against CS exposure-induced chronic cough in guinea pigs by reducing coughs, airway inflammation, and mucus overproduction.

        최근 중국은 “국민경제와 사회발전의 제14차 5년 계획”에 의무교육의 전면적 질의 향상과 학교 운영의 활력을 제고할 것임을 명시하였다. 여기서 일컫는 의무교육의 전면적 질적 향상은 교육의 양호한 질과 균형적인 발전을 요구하고 있지만 중국 현실의 상황을 살펴보면 그렇지 아니하다. 학교들 마다 교육과 운영에 있어서 서로 다르며 현저한 차이를 보여주고 있는 실정이다. 이를 대처하기 위한 일환으로 학군·그룹화 학교의 운영은 양질적이며 균형적 의무교육의 발전을 촉진하는 데에 있어서 방도를 제공하리라 기대되고 있다. 다만 이러한 학교의 운영 방식은 실천 중에서 여러 문제점이 있게 마련이다. 예를 들면 “통합된 제도화 운영체제”, “자원분할 및 공생과 재생의 메커니즘”, “편면적 보수주의 극복과 공동체 의식의 향상” 등의 딜레마가 있기 때문이다. 이러한 딜레마는 학군·그룹화의 발전을 가로막고 있을 뿐만 아니라 학교의 운영 등에 있어서 방해의 역할을 하게 된다. 본고는 이러한 문제점을 염두에 두면서 학군·그룹화 학교 운영의 각 주체들이 적극적이며 지속 가능한 협력관계의 길 탐색; 공동의 책임제도 구축; 교육자원의 공유; 교육 특화화의 관리 등에 연구의 초점을 둘 것이며 최종적으로는 학군의 그룹화 교육과 학교 운영을 최적화 및 상호 이익의 실현에 목적을 두고 실행가능한 제의를 제시할 예정이다. Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China puts forward that "improving the quality of compulsory education in an all-round way and releasing the vitality of running a school", which requires the balanced development of high-quality education. In reality, there is often a big gap in the level of running a school between schools, and running schools in school districts and groups provides a feasible realistic path for promoting the balanced development of high-quality education in compulsory education. However, this way of running a school has encountered many problems in educational practice, such as three practical dilemmas, namely, "the combination of appearance and spirit, lack of institutionalized operation system", "resource division, lack of symbiosis and regeneration mechanism" and "sticking to one side and lack of sharing consciousness", which hinder the development of school district groups and even hinder the exertion of the original advantages of this way of running a school. Each subject of collectivized school district should actively explore the path of sustainable cooperation, establish a community of management, teaching, scientific research and students with shared responsibility, resource sharing and characteristic co-creation, truly integrate into an educational community, optimize collectivized school running, achieve mutual benefit and win-win, realize the integration and sharing of resources within the community to a greater extent, comprehensively promote the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education, and release the vitality of school running.
