        Diagnostic Performance of LI-RADS v2018 versus KLCA-NCC 2018 Criteria for Hepatocellular Carcinoma Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging with Hepatobiliary Agent: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Comparative Studies

        Background/Aims: To compare the performance of the Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) v2018 and Korean Liver Cancer Association-National Cancer Center (KLCANCC) 2018 criteria for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with hepatobiliary agent (HBA). Methods: We searched the MEDLINE and EMBASE for studies from January 1, 2018, to October 20, 2021, that compared the diagnostic performance of two imaging criteria on HBA-MRI. A bivariate random-effects model was fitted to calculate the per-observation sensitivity and specificity, and the estimates of paired data were compared. Subgroup analysis was performed based on the observation size. Meta-regression analysis was also performed for study heterogeneity. Results: Of the six studies included, the pooled sensitivity of the definite HCC category of the KLCA-NCC criteria (82%; 95% confidence interval [CI], 74% to 90%; I2=84%) was higher than that of LR-5 of LI-RADS v2018 (65%; 95% CI, 52% to 77%; I2=96%) for diagnosing HCC (p<0.001), while the specificity was lower for KLCA-NCC criteria (87%; 95% CI, 84% to 91%; I2=0%) than LI-RADS v2018 (93%; 95% CI, 91% to 96%; I2=0%) (p=0.017). For observations sized ≥20 mm, the sensitivity was higher for KLCA-NCC 2018 than for LI-RADS v2018 (84% vs 74%, p=0.012), with no significant difference in specificity (81% vs 85%, p=0.451). The reference standard was a significant factor contributing to the heterogeneity of sensitivities. Conclusions: The definite HCC category of KLCA-NCC 2018 provided a higher sensitivity and lower specificity than the LR-5 of LI-RADS v2018 for diagnosing HCC using MRI with HBA.

        Contrast-enhanced ultrasound Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System category M: a systematic review and meta-analysis

        Purpose: A meta-analysis was conducted to determine the proportion of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System category M (LR-M) in hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs) and non-HCC malignancies and to investigate the frequency of individual CEUS LR-M imaging features.Methods: The MEDLINE and Embase databases were searched from January 1, 2016 to July 23, 2020 for studies reporting the proportion of CEUS LR-M in HCC and non-HCC malignancies. The meta-analytic pooled proportions of HCC and non-HCC malignancies in the CEUS LR-M category were calculated. The meta-analytic frequencies of CEUS LR-M imaging features in nonHCC malignancies were also determined. Risk of bias and applicability were evaluated using the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies-2 tool.Results: Twelve studies reporting the diagnostic performance of the CEUS LR-M category were identified, as well as seven studies reporting the frequencies of individual CEUS LR-M imaging features. The pooled proportions of HCC and non-HCC malignancies in the CEUS LR-M category were 54% (95% confidence interval [CI], 44% to 65%) and 40% (95% CI, 28% to 53%), respectively. The pooled frequencies of individual CEUS LR-M imaging features in non-HCC malignancies were 30% (95% CI, 17% to 45%) for rim arterial phase hyperenhancement, 79% (95% CI, 66% to 90%) for early (<60 s) washout, and 42% (95% CI, 21% to 64%) for marked washout.Conclusion: In total, 94% of CEUS LR-M lesions were malignancies, with HCCs representing 54% and non-HCC malignancies representing 40%. The frequencies of individual CEUS LR-M imaging features varied; early washout showed the highest frequency for non-HCC malignancies.

In the world forum for harmonization of the vehicle Regulations(UN/ECE WP.29) the development of the global technical regulations for hydrogen fuelcell vehicles is actively being discussed. UN/ECE WP 29 aims to develope global technical regulations in the field of environment, crashworthiness and electrical safety in the first phase till 2010. This paper explores research issues related to the electrical safety of high voltage system for Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

        The Broadband electromagnetic radiation generated by the vehicle can be measured using a vehicle-to-antenna spacing 10m or 3m, two alternative reference antenna distance are permissible 10m or 3m from the vehicle in the European Specification(EEC and ECE), but can be used only 10m method in the SAE and CISPR Specification until a recent date. Generally the difference between the limit for the radiated emissions measured at 10m antenna distance and 3m antenna distance is10dB in theory, but test result is very different according to the test vehicle and test frequency. We can find multiple antenna positions are required if the length of the vehicle is greater than 3dB bandwidth of the antenna for the 3m measurement distance

        국적선사 법정관리에 따른 대체 운송로 확보, 국내 대미수출의 위축 등 유라시아 신흥시장 개척 필요성이 커졌다. 또한 국제전자상거래의 확산으로 국제교역 및 물류환경이 급변하고 있어 국제화물운송의 전자화에 대한 대비가 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 유라시아 각 국의 물류정보 수준비교를 통해 국내 시스템을 활용한 유라시아 물류정보 공유플랫폼 정보화전략계획을 마련하였다. 본 유라시아 물류정보 공유플랫폼을 통해 유라시아 국가 간의 물류지원을 위한 표준화 서비스 제공, 프로세스 전주기 지원을 통한 단절 없는 통관·물류서비스 제공, 무역업체의 비즈니스 확대를 위한 정보 제공, 국가 간 물류기업 간 협력확대를 위한 정보연계기반 구축 등 국가 간 정보공유를 통한 물류 활성화를 지원할 수 있도록 방향성을 제시하였다.

        Off-Road Machinery System Engineering ; Criteria for Determining Working Area and Operating Cost for Long-Term Lease of Agricultural Machinery

        Purpose: This research suggests a method of establishing criteria for working area and operating cost for a long-term lease of agricultural machinery. Methods: Eight crops were selected-three food crops and five open-field vegetables-and agricultural machines used for sowing, transplanting, and cultivation in dry-field farming were analyzed. Results: The break-even acreage for agricultural machinery under a long-term lease was found to differ by agricultural machine, ranging from 1.0 to 5.8 ha. In terms of arable land area, the break-even acreages for harvesting machinery and transplanters were 15.6 to 26.1 ha and 6.1 to 8.6 ha, respectively. The working area lessees should secure was divided into two cases: (1) 2.0 to 11.6 ha when leasing individual agricultural machines (sowing and transplanting) for a long-term period, and (2) more than 10 ha when farmers who cultivate beans, potatoes, garlic, onions, and so on lease sowing and transplanting machines as a set. When agricultural machinery was leased for a long term, the operating cost and working time were reduced by 27.6 to 74.4% and 2.5 to 21.6%, respectively, indicating considerable effect. Conclusions: A long-term lease project needs to be promoted to overcome the limitation of short-term leases of agricultural machinery. The local government should lead this project and facilitate the mechanization of dry-field farming. The department in charge of agricultural machinery lease projects needs to set the working area to cover the rate and maintenance cost for farmers who lease agricultural machinery for the long term.

        Image Quality and Lesion Detectability of Lower-Dose Abdominopelvic CT Obtained Using Deep Learning Image Reconstruction

        Objective: To evaluate the image quality and lesion detectability of lower-dose CT (LDCT) of the abdomen and pelvis obtained using a deep learning image reconstruction (DLIR) algorithm compared with those of standard-dose CT (SDCT) images. Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included 123 patients (mean age ± standard deviation, 63 ± 11 years; male:female, 70:53) who underwent contrast-enhanced abdominopelvic LDCT between May and August 2020 and had prior SDCT obtained using the same CT scanner within a year. LDCT images were reconstructed with hybrid iterative reconstruction (h-IR) and DLIR at medium and high strengths (DLIR-M and DLIR-H), while SDCT images were reconstructed with h-IR. For quantitative image quality analysis, image noise, signal-to-noise ratio, and contrast-to-noise ratio were measured in the liver, muscle, and aorta. Among the three different LDCT reconstruction algorithms, the one showing the smallest difference in quantitative parameters from those of SDCT images was selected for qualitative image quality analysis and lesion detectability evaluation. For qualitative analysis, overall image quality, image noise, image sharpness, image texture, and lesion conspicuity were graded using a 5-point scale by two radiologists. Observer performance in focal liver lesion detection was evaluated by comparing the jackknife free-response receiver operating characteristic figures-of-merit (FOM). Results: LDCT (35.1% dose reduction compared with SDCT) images obtained using DLIR-M showed similar quantitative measures to those of SDCT with h-IR images. All qualitative parameters of LDCT with DLIR-M images but image texture were similar to or significantly better than those of SDCT with h-IR images. The lesion detectability on LDCT with DLIR-M images was not significantly different from that of SDCT with h-IR images (reader-averaged FOM, 0.887 vs. 0.874, respectively; p = 0.581). Conclusion: Overall image quality and detectability of focal liver lesions is preserved in contrast-enhanced abdominopelvic LDCT obtained with DLIR-M relative to those in SDCT with h-IR.

      • Systematic Proteogenomic Approach To Exploring a Novel Function for NHERF1 in Human Reproductive Disorder: Lessons for Exploring Missing Proteins

        <P>One of the major goals of the Chromosome-Centric Human Proteome Project (C-HPP) is to fill the knowledge gaps between human genomic information and the corresponding proteomic information. These gaps are due to “missing” proteins (MPs)predicted proteins with insufficient evidence from mass spectrometry (MS), biochemical, structural, or antibody analysesthat currently account for 2579 of the 19587 predicted human proteins (neXtProt, 2017-01). We address some of the lessons learned from the inconsistent annotations of missing proteins in databases (DB) and demonstrate a systematic proteogenomic approach designed to explore a potential new function of a known protein. To illustrate a cautious and strategic approach for characterization of novel function in vitro and in vivo, we present the case of Na(+)/H(+) exchange regulatory cofactor 1 (NHERF1/SLC9A3R1, located at chromosome 17q25.1; hereafter NHERF1), which was mistakenly labeled as an MP in one DB (Global Proteome Machine Database; GPMDB, 2011-09 release) but was well known in another public DB and in the literature. As a first step, NHERF1 was determined by MS and immunoblotting for its molecular identity. We next investigated the potential new function of NHERF1 by carrying out the quantitative MS profiling of placental trophoblasts (PXD004723) and functional study of cytotrophoblast JEG-3 cells. We found that NHERF1 was associated with trophoblast differentiation and motility. To validate this newly found cellular function of NHERF1, we used the <I>Caenorhabditis elegans</I> mutant of <I>nrfl-1</I> (a nematode ortholog of <I>NHERF1</I>), which exhibits a protruding vulva (Pvl) and egg-laying-defective phenotype, and performed genetic complementation work. The <I>nrfl-1</I> mutant was almost fully rescued by the transfection of the recombinant transgenic construct that contained human <I>NHERF1</I>. These results suggest that NHERF1 could have a previously unknown function in pregnancy and in the development of human embryos.         Improved Method for Determining the Height of Center of Gravity of Agricultural Tractors

        This study aimed to improve the method for determining the position of the center of gravity for agricultural tractors. Methods: The proposed method uses trigonometric functions and coordinate transformation. Data were measured according to the ISO 789-6 test procedures for the center of gravity of agricultural tractors. The height calculated using the proposed method was compared with that determined from an AutoCAD drawing. To find the center of gravity of the tractor, the algorithm for finding the intersection of the two lines was used. Results: The vertical height from the ground to the center of gravity is 682.06 mm. The vertical coordinates obtained from the calculation and the drawing were the same. Conclusions: The developed method uses trigonometric and polar coordinate transformation. The method was compared and verified with the AutoCAD drawing results. The results indicate that users can apply this developed method instead of the plotting method which is an inconvenient and time-consuming. Further, users can program Microsoft Excel to easily determine the vertical coordinate. In addition, researchers will propose this method to the ISO as a standard method for determining the center of gravity in accordance with ISO 789-6.
